Yes definitely. The alumni visits to college do help the regular students. The regular students got the chance to meet & share their technical issues with the alumni. Students can ask their queries directly to ex students as there is a special bond in between regular & ex students. Ex students can also share what are the mistakes they done while studying & can give a guide line for after pass out job searching.

We have a well gender ratio. Every batch has a almost equal strength of girls & boys. Sometimes the IT & electronics batch has a boys as a minority in class. The atmosphere of the campus was very energetic. Every year College approves us a industrial visit cum picnic tour for 4 to 5 days. Those 4/5 days always remains a pleasant memory in every engineering student.

Fresher's Party, Farewell Party, Tech fest and some small sports event are celebrated in the college. I have enjoyed fullest of life during these events. There were number of activities in which one can participate. Fresher's party and Farewell party is a one day event, where as Tech is of minimum 3 days.My favourite part of the Tech fest was the gaming competition, it was 3 day event and i could only make to the second day, but even that too was so much fun.

This college falls under Jammu universty curriculam. To take admission in this college one has to go through CET for engineering which is conducted by Jammu University. After taking the examination a cut off list is prepared and based on that Pupils will be called for an interview and choose their line of subject. I took Applied Electronics & Instrumentation as my field of study.

We have celebrate many events in a year, first we celebrate Freshers day - For freshers student from second year students. Our Annual Event is Renaissance "National Technical cum Cultural Event" in this students from all over india participate in it.

Gender ratios 1.5:1 , Hostel Parties are not allowed but they can do with permission of warden, workshops are have all material and instrumetns, cultural societies and tolerance with regards to gender, ethnicity, race, religion.

Events are celebrate regularly and i too participate in all the events i really enjoyed a lot in this college and i am very much thankful for the members and the students union for being such a good support and helpful in all the activities.

I applied for this college because i heard from many students that it is very good college for undergraduate course. I am doing b.com from this college. I scored a good marks and easily i got admission in thia college.

Placement cell is very active . Almost all big names in software and core companies provide the opportunities to serve their company. TCS ,CTS ,IMPHOSYS, WIPRO, UB,DR. REDDY LAB,HUL so many.

Different scholarship facilities are available Moni bhomik . National merit scholarship i was eligible for these scholarship .

All the basic knowledge and fundamental are important, we have already come through that in the previous semesters. All the courses taken are very much useful in research. Every subject part is covered and taught with ease. Every student gets enough knowledge with which he can prosper for the future.

The fee structure is adjustable but it could also be made less as it is a state university. A student should probably have to spend Rs. 60000 per year of study.College tuition fee along with library, sports other expenses - 18000.Hostel rent, electricity etc.. - 8500Mess charges - 16000.

I gave the JEE Mains 2014 to get an admission into this college.It was customary for all engineering aspirants to take the exam.However, from this year, the JEE has been scrapped, and admissions to all Maharashtra based colleges will be on the basis of the MH-CET scores. My percentile was about 99.6 after including my board exam scores. VJTI is ranked number one in Maharashtra due to its 128 year legacy and rich history of producing notable engineers. The college has a huge campus and highly qualified teachers too. Hence, it was easy to make the choice to take admission into VJTI.

VJTI has a 100% placement record. Being the prime engineering institute in the state, companies prefer students who have passed out of the college. As a result, over 200 companies visit our campus for campus placements, and it includes the big names like Google and Microsoft too. Reliance, Bank of America, Tata Motors, Citigroup, etc. are a host of other names visiting the campus. The TPO ensures that students from all branches get a chance to get placed.

Campus life is totally academic oriented. Sometimes it feels little dull. Sometimes cultural events happen at campus like Classical music or dance night,Stage plays,Art exhibition etc. There is a music room,football ground,basketball court,cricket ground,badminton and TT court in campus. First year B.Tech students have morning PTs compulsory. Also there are yoga sessions and human value classes as part of curriculum for B.Techs. Gender ration is good. Girl to Boy ratio is around 1:3. There is also yearly R&D showcase which is flagship event of college where research progress is exhibited for outside public. There are contests organized by companies like Microsoft,Directi etc from time to time.

Course curriculum is research as well as industry oriented.The institute has many research departments like CSTAR,CVIT etc. Each research department provides department related courses. Also there are many technology industry oriented courses as well which are taught by some of industry veterans who are visiting faculty. For e.g Machine learning taught by a scientist from Google,Distributed systems taught by a lead engineer from MapR,Web mining taught by researcher from Microsoft etc. Some of good research related courses are Information retrieval,Cloud computing,Principles of information security,Data mining,Advanced Database systems,Quantum computing,Internals of application servers etc.

Seniors were good, not much interaction with alumni network though. Whenever we need some help apart from studies, we used to go to them every year we used to have alumni meet, where we used to meet the alumni of our college there they used to share there experience how they proceeded with their dreams.

We used to have many events in our college some of them are college fest milanz It is a cultural fest organized by college every year college fest corona It is technical fest organized by college every year apart from this, there are many events organized during vishwakarma pooja, sarawati pooja, etc.

Due to research focussing teaching pattern , There is a large oppurtunity of r-esearch work in this college. There is a very good and talented faculty, here to support the study and research. As i have heard about this college and about its teacher,that was absolutely right. They have a specific teaching technique which helps us a lot for students.

To students with low financial condition ,college helps for getting education loans from various bank facilities.for very excellent students college also helps by reducing the fees on the basis of their performance.also FW (fee waiver) scheme is there under university which helps students to get free education.

At that time there was no scholarship from college I do not have the present information .College at that time did not provide any facility for bank loan but I took Education loan from Allahabad Bank and I successfully repaid it much earlier than the ending date.

Yes, College provides Internship.General Stipend that I got in 2008 was approx. Rs. 5000 pm (Internship was for Summer Project - 6 weeks) .My Final project was with a company based on Gurgaon and it was an on job Internship with pay of Rs. 18000 pm.

No specific entrance examinations were there at that time other than the degree examination in which 3 second classes were scored in the main and two optional subjects. The above college was one of the most famous educational institutions of the time and the nearest to me. The above subjects were chosen being in the science stream which originally were selected with a view to get admission to the medical course. Another reason was that a wide selection of courses was not available at that time. Admission process was also simple. Just pay the fees and join. No interview at all.

A well arranged but difficult curriculum and we had to do a lot of hard work. The literature and language classes were real treats which highly helped me improve my language skill and the teachers who guided us were real masters of the crafts they handled. In fact there was no scope of any research owing to the discontinuation of my studies. Although the college was providing the highest number of courses in the state there were a number of students in each category. Our English classes consisted over hundred students in each group combined together.

More of good staff and a better director can change the status of college from average to great. Facilities are average as compared to other colleges in mumbai. No canteen, fuel thieves in parking area and bus stop standard washrooms. Classrooms are full AC along with conference hall is good. Computer lab and library is also good. Overall its decent for that amount of fees.

There will be 4 semester in which for every semester there are 40 marks for internals and remaining 60 for main exams. Mostly people get internals by attending lectures, performance or knowledge doesn't matter much. Even marks in final exams will get affected if you dont have great attendance score as professors knows whose paper they are checking.

Campus life here is just amazing there are more girls than boys but things like these don't matter around here it's your work that defines you parties are quite frequent. Fresher's trip is epic every year!There are lots of clubs running in here like the movie club, sketching club, architectural visits club, travel club, nature club, thesis club, sports club, dance crew, choir, and so on students can discover themselves in every way in terms of student ethnicity there is quite a diverse crowd and also exchange students spill in every semester so there's Gujarati, Mallu, Marathi, Punjabi, Bengali, Swedish, French, Italian, Spanish etc.

The course is very well structured with every semester being a different experience for the student every sem the student has the opportunity to chalk out his path there are eight studios offered each semester for second and third year students the student can choose any one of his choice besides the mandatory courses which very well facilitate the Studios, there are electives which enable us to explore beyond our course.

Yes some functions are celebrated on our college like annual function. In annual function the chief minister of our state came on the colleage and vice chancellor sir also present their. Other function are student youth function. Some months ago yoga day also celebrated on college campus,vice chancellor sir was also present,other college teachers was also and students.

There are lots of topics in chemistry which are very interested as a point of view of research. Like coordination compounds,their are lots of topics in organic chemistry. Like diels alder reaction. There is Exams and labs very frequent leaving you with a hectic day.contionous assesment . 6 hours of classes per day, 3 quizzes, 2 periodical tests per semester. Assignments: virtually non-existent. Not a lot of choice in choosing courses..Amrita University campus encloses a main building, a new building under construction, a hostel right opposite the main gate, a couple of general stores and a beautiful green garden. Comfortable single seater benches, decent classrooms without an air conditioner and well equipped library with truckload of books of latest edition are the facilities offered by this university.

Hostel rules and life was really worst.and academics are very tough as relative grading is taken even.but college lokks good and hygenic.Amrita University focuses more on academics and gives terribly less importance to extra curricular activities. If you wish to 'enjoy' your four years of engineering, this is certainly not the right place. Extremely strict attendance pattern, average placements, good teachers, and ﾑjail-likeﾒ hostel regulations is whatﾒs waiting for you at Amrita University, Bangalore.

Campus was on a huge area around 700 acres the campus has a school within it. Sports facilities were great with cricket, football, volleyball courts. Gym was available gender ratio was not great in the Engineering courses humanities departments had a good gender ratio foreigners were there at the campus students from all over India were there.

Main courses like VLSI design, IC fabrication technology, Digital design, Nano technology, Semi conductor devices, RF were part of the curriculum the course structure was very good the course was for 2 years with a project at the end. Four semesters with project in 3'rd and 4'th semesters.

There are so many events conducted by the college throughout the year. Such asTechnical fest,Cultural fest,Garba,Blood donation camps Celebration of joy of giving week etc NCC & NSS activities are also there in the college. The objective of the NCC is to make citizens who show discipline ideals,services,dignity of labour and hardwork and a spirit of adventure.

The college management is very supportive. There is one separate student section which handles all the student related issues.so one can go there anytime for any query. To sell stationery,calculators,tools and instruments at reasonable rates a students stores is run on the campus. Moreover there is a photocopying facility also. So on the whole the overall management of college is just excellent.

They were involved in different activities through out the academic years. The institution has never been shown any preference to any geography, ethnic, gender, religion etc.

Its one of the best curriculum even I have seen. Even till date my studies are helping me to take decisions in my personal and professional life. The practical experience was too good. In HR the faculties with their innovative study method not only helped me but also helped my class mates to excel in their career.
