Fee is feasible for every one as its a government college and also a university campus and moreover stipends and fee waiver for scheduled castes made it easy for even rural students to complete the degree without any financial problems . GATE qualified students are given with stipend as well .

It was a very good campus.renovation was also going on. They wer making it big.greenery campus was ther concept which I liked it. It was a swaminarayan college.so girls and boys wer seperted totally disciplined.so girls and boys talking and there were some people of college taking care of this things even CCTV cameras were there to monitor

It was feasible. Fee structure was nt costly at that time.The college fee was thirty six thousand for a semester and and after 2 years it was thirty thousand for rest of semester.somehow our hostel fees was also nearly same so overall I had to sheel out 50000 for a semester which was bit expensive

Many cultural events are conducted every year in college like traditional day,annual day,freshers and also technical fests too ,students come out with their ides in technical fests ,aspirants from many colleges participates in the fests. Sports festival is also conducted . College encourages student in every aspect.

Good placements with well assistance for further studies are provided ,more than 20 MNC's visited campus and recruited 200+ students. There is also skill development program in the final year for students so that they feel comfortable while interviews and moreover this will also help after their studies.

In the start it was very difficult to understand as it was totally new to me but as time progressed i came to know the professors and their helping nature so whenever any diffculties i used to face i would directly get it solved by consulting them and as you know in every college their are one or two diffrent professors mine was also having some whom i would never used to cope up with or who used to be partial or angry all the time

Basically it never depend upon the college, it always depend upon the market how is the market. My college placement was very good and tpo was also very helpful and he still send us the mail if there is any requirement for exp. people. it market at the time of my passing year was very bad so i wasn't campus placed

It is an academic course and purely aligned with research. This college is under University of Burdwan,West Bengal. It is a 4 Star University as per NAAC accreditation. Though the syllabus is bit more inclined to Mathematical Statistics but there is an option of selecting industrial statistics as major. 1st and 2nd Language and Environmental Science are compulsory,however best electives with Statistics is Mathematics and Computer Science.

Faculties are highly trained and from prestigious institutes like Indian Statistical Institute. All have doctoral degrees and highly helpful. Department is headed by Prof Chandrashekhar Roy who is 1st class first in both B-Stat and M-Stat from ISI Kolkata. Prof Padmajaya Paulis also from ISI Kolkata and real master in economical statistics.

We dont have on campus placement. But we have off-campus placement, Even that also very difficult to face the interview. Because requirement is less but people are more. If 10 position vacancy means the will invite more than 1000 candidates for the interview and they multiple rounds and several segregations.

Faculty are very poor, They don't have basic knowledge about machines. So we are affected very much during the practical session and theory also. During the practical the people the didnt have the knowledge to teach me. So i not getting basic of machine how to operate the lath machine also.

The exams are structured as per anna university norms, because the college is affiliated with Anna University. They follow the syllabus and academic guidelines of anna university. Nothing special and useful for the students.

Nothing. There were no placement opportunities in this college for Human resource management students. There were some placement opportunities for marketing students. But the companies not reliable and trust worthy.

I haven't seen any gender ratio. Females and males are equivalent to each other and compete each other well in every activity or any other arrangements in everything. Rather we treat each other equally and participate in each and every college activities .

No, not yet. There is nothing to mention about as I haven't got any such benefits yet but yes have heard from my friends who are in different fields and they have got good stipend and have got placed in good and big companies.

Sports day,Engineers day, onam special, every department symposium, many events for each department and culturals and etc. In engineer's day every department have competition they want to do some projects and real time projects and they provide reward.

Our college will not provide any internship but they suggest to attend internship . They gave information about which company internship is more value and when will they contact.

Scholarships are provided more on caste and less on merit basis as I have personally experienced. Students have to scourge out such programs as they aren't easily made noticeable. However, scoring above most students in my batch I could not avail the scholarship and it was passed onto a student low on the caste bias(though I don't personally believe in such bias) and also way lower on higher secondary scores as well.

The campus life is above average but not excellent. But nonetheless, enjoyable. Labs are more like museums where you may noylt touch equipments without permission. Supervision is hardly provided. Extracurricular activities are laudable as mentioned under the fests and activities column. Sports events, technical fests, cultural nights are highly looked forward to with maximum participation.

Structure was good and convenient but least useful for me as i did not get on the job experience. After passing out I tried to look for job in similar field but did not get any. I think if we do full time or part time course it will be much better in long run.

There was no faculty involved because it was online programme. The standard of the college is good but not recognise internationally. It makes difficult for students to get thrjob interviews on international level.

The internship program is a giant learning experience. Accepted interns will start by getting to know the office at which theyll be interning, learning about each of the departments, getting to know staff, and becoming familiar with various computer programs. Throughout the internship, there will be a number of trainings scheduled that will help with effective advocacy, what not to do at protests (and other outreach events), and much more.

A modest stipend may be availed of by qualified financially needy scholars. Although scholarship grants are provided by the University, outside donors may of study in any baccalaureate engineering degree program offered by the college. This is a short-term interest-free loan facility for the payment of tuition and fees.

State of the Art. I am not only the alumnus of this college but also a visiting faculty now. Symbiosis helps students develop a practical perspective by offering courses which are useful in real world. The college has introduced many new courses, subjects and specialisations. Apart from the curriculum there are many activities and workshops which are organised which help students develop and update their knowledge and skills.

All major festivals are celebrated like Ganesh Chaturthi, Janmasthami, Christmas etc. Apart from this there are various clubs which keep organizing their activities like Entrepreneurship club, Geography club, trekking club etc. Now there is also an annual inter college event which is held. Apart from this there are normal college days celebrations.

I chose BBA as I planned to do MBA after the course. Well planned and detailed. Allowed me to learn about new subjects and improved my overall awareness of the business management program. Most of the MBA subjects were already covered by in the BBA program. Teachers were great support as well throughout the three years.

Another area where the college was a great help. Although i went for a MBA after the graduation. I must say there were some good corporations offering jobs. I was placed but chose to go ahead with an MBA. The same organizations were offered later in my MBA course, so the standard of the placement cell was quite good.

There was approx 65 students in our department. Hardly 10% of them were placed. Though we came to know that some of the companies were fake. the total no of department was 6. but the view was same for each departments. We were from Core department but we were being offered IT jobs. Rather i say BPO jobs. Wipro, reliance, TCS were the big names in placement. Though all were for BPO.

The gender ratio in our department was Boys: Girl: 12:1. whereas in Information Technology and Computer Science department it was almost 1:1. And for civil it was about 20:1. The campus life was avarage we bunked classes too. annual sports, fresher, fest were there though not very attracting. Labs were incomplete as not all equipment were available. no robotics debates were there.

Placement was good many companies visited our campus like flipkart,Wipro,google,Facebook,microland.tCS, etc. The placement always will be for brilliants. We guys attended but no luck for us. On every interview we will go out from GD. That's our luck. Placements are good for who wants their carrier in a dream way. We guys are suffering now. We have no job nothing are like birds everyday we are attending many interviews and no luck for every time.

We had many events conducted in our college. And its most entertaining programmes. We like only cultural events we won't participate in non cultural events like science exhibition and all. And we participated in many events and we won too.Events are like heaven. We will rock on the stage as well as auditorium. We have many departments and every day we can have many programmes.

The annual cultural festival of the college is called as "CreXtal" which stands for Creativity, Excellence and Talent. The inter-college technical festival organized by the college is called "Colosseum". However from 2009, "Colosseum" will be an intra-college festival. The college will be divided into 3 different houses where students will compete against each other representing their house. The winning house gets the DBIT Shield.

The planning of the course curriculum is very good. They take plenty of test and mock vivas to prepare students academically. They senior faculty members pioneers in research. Many thesis are published by them. Many professional seminars, webinars, thought exchange meets are frequently attended by the faculty.

It was according to the gujarat university curriculum but can be improved with more of the practical stuffs along with the theory more focus is given on the theory which students need to mug up and pass the exam but along with that if they would have practically make them understood it would be beneficial for them.

Faculty of the college was a mix and match some of the faculty were highly qualified and some were starters the level of the teaching or knowledge sharing was good and tried to give their best based on their knowledge learnt a lot from them it was great e

Placements is also one of the great feature of NIPER. Companies like Evalueserve, Glaxo Smith Kline, Dr. Reddy's labs, IMS, Biocon, Syngene etc. have recruited the students from NIPER.Package may vary from company to company. But one can expect 3.5L - 5.5 L per annum. Generally 50% of the total students are recruited from campus placement every year. And remaining 50% also settle in good positions afterwards. So, we can say NIPER really have the power to secure the future of students but students should have the ability and determination too.

People from almost every state are studying here and they live together happily respecting the cultures of each other. So almost every occasion whether Lohri, Diwali, Dusshera, Onam, Pongal, Baishakhi, Garbha etc etc are celebrated perfectly .College has big auditorium which have the capacity of about 500 people and a campus of 120 acres. So space is not issue here. Everything is managed perfectly.

Topic wise tests are conducted by the faculty besides that 3 internals are conducted for each subject maximum marks is 25 average of 3 subjects should be added on the academical and external is for 75 marks in each year we have 2 seems for labs 2 exams are conducted one is internal ie 25 marks and 2nd one is external ie: 50.

MCET qualified students can get fee reimbursement from the government and other wise donation have to be paid by the candidate ie 60000 rs per year in the cse the students who show excellent performance in the exams can get some reward and various events also conducted by the college the students can get some rewards also.
