    KCET Application Form Correction window was reopened from June 26, 2020, to June 29, 2020. The facility is available for candidates who successfully registered themselves before May 18, 2020. Aspirants can modify the exam centers and other details entered after verifying especially reservation category claims. KEA reopened the application process on May 08, 2020. The last date to apply for KCET 2020 was May 18, 2020.  KCET Admit Card releasing date will be announced soon.

    •  KCET 2020 will be conducted onJuly 30 and July 31, 2020, as announced by KEA.  
    • While filling the online application form candidates were required to upload the scanned images of photograph, candidate’s and parent’s signature, and left-hand thumb impression. 
    • KCET Exam Centers will be allotted to candidates based on the choices made by them at the time of filling KCET Application Form.

    KCET Application Forms can be corrected on the official website from June 26 to June 29, 2020. Candidates must submit the edited application forms before the last date of correction. This window can be accessed once i.e. only one chance of editing the KCET Application Form will be given to the candidates. Karnataka CET 2020 Application Form can be corrected online only; no offline applications for correction of errors will be accepted.

    Candidates can follow the following steps to edit Karnataka CET 2020 Application Form:

    1. Visit www.kea.kar.nic.in and click “Editing CET 2020 Application”
    2. Enter User ID and generate OTP on your registered mobile number
    3. Edit the fields you want to edit and select the “Declare Button”
    4. Click the ‘Submit’ button to make sure that the changes are saved and submitted
    5. Then print the edited KCET Application form

    KCET 2020 Application Form Status

    In order to check the KCET 2020 Application Form status, the candidates have to follow these steps:

    1. Visit the KCET Official website.
    2. Go to the Candidate login page.
    3. Enter KCET 2020 Application No. and Password

    If the "Download Acknowledgement Page" link appears on the screen then it indicates that their KCET Application Form 2020 is accepted.

    KCET 2020 Application Form was available at kea.kar.nic.in from March 7 to March 16, 2020 (Extended window). The online application form filling and its submission involved 5 steps as mentioned below:

    Step 1: Candidate Registration – KCET 2020 Registration

    • First of all, you have to mention your Nationality.
    • Then whether appeared for Karnataka 2nd PUC annual examination 2020 (Science)?
    • If yes, enter 13 digit ‘student number’ assigned by PUE department.
    • After this, you will be redirected to a new window where you have to provide more details to complete the registration process.
    • Enter: Candidate’s name, father’s name, mother’s name, gender, date of birth, mobile number, e-mail ID, user-ID, password, re-enter, secret question, answer, security code, re-enter security code.
    • Click on ‘submit’ button.
    • The application number and user ID will be displayed on the screen. It will also be sent to the registered mobile number and email ID.
    • On the login page, enter user ID, password, security code and click on ‘login’ button to apply for the exam.

    Step 2: Student Information & Education Details – KCET Application Form 2020

    Candidate’s name, mother’s name, father’s name, date of birth, gender, mobile number, and the email ID will already be mentioned in the application form.  Candidates will have to enter their choices of KCET Exam Centres 2020 in this step. Applicants have to enter the following details in KCET application form 2020:

    Step 3: Uploading Images – KCET Application Form 2020

    In this step, applicants have to upload scanned images of their passport-sized photograph (colored), signature, thumb impression and signature of parents.

    • After completing the above-mentioned steps, applicants have to take a printout and carefully verify the entries. They can and make changes in KCET application form 2020, if required, before moving on to payment step.
    • After the scanned images are successfully uploaded, the declaration page will appear. One must review the form and read and understand the declaration carefully before finally clicking on submit as no changes in KCET 2020 application form will be allowed thereafter.

    Step 4: Online Fee Payment

    After successfully submitting KCET application form 2020, applicants have to pay the required fee through e-challan to complete the application process. Candidates have to tick on ‘I agree’ and click on ‘next’ to make the fee payment. The application fee can be paid online via net banking till the last date of form submission. The following steps are involved in payment-

    • Name of the candidate, CET number, college/course allotted details, payment amount and bank account number will be mentioned in the challan.
    • Make payment at the banks specified.
    • After payment, the bank will retain their copy and hand over the remaining two copies back to the candidate. The copies must be secured safely for future reference.

    Note: List of banks specified by KEA for payment includes State Bank of India, Indian Bank and State Bank of Hyderabad.

    Step 5: Printout of KCET Application Form 2020

    After making payment, candidates must take a printout of KCET application form 2020 in A-4 size paper and affix their recent passport-sized photograph, signature, left-hand thumb impression on the provided space. Students have to obtain principal's seal and signature of the institute from which they had passed the qualifying examination. It has to be produced during verification of documents along with the copy of bank challan (KEA copy). 

    No part of the fee is refundable even in case of an application form rejection.

    KCET application fee varies across different categories. Apart from the below-mentioned application fee, candidates had to pay an additional bank charge of INR 10. Those paying at the e-post office were charged INR 12 extra. Candidates can check KCET fee structure in the table below:

    Ques. Are candidates from other states eligible to apply for KCET 2020?

    Ans. For admission to seats in Government Colleges, candidates must fulfill one of the conditions/eligibility criteria as stipulated by KEA (Karnataka Examinations Authority) in Official Eligibility Clause issued by KEA. In general, candidates are expected to be a domicile of the state of Karnataka and completed their schooling from the same state.     Ques. What are the stages involved in submitting KCET 2020 Application Form?

    Ans. There are 5 steps involved in filling KCET online form.

    Ques. What are the different modes of fee payment?

    Ans. The fee payment can be done through both online and offline mode. For online mode, candidates can use their net banking details to remit the fee. For offline payments, candidates can either pay the fee via e-challan at e-postoffices or State Bank of India, Indian Bank and State Bank of Hyderabad.

    Ques. Do candidates seeking admission to Medical/Architecture courses need to fill KCET Application Form?

    Ans. Candidates seeking admission to Medical/Architecture courses can fill application form till March 21 or KEA is likely to re-open the portal for Medical and Architecture aspirants after the declaration of NEET and NATA 2020 results. For admission to MBBS, BDS, and AYUSH courses, candidates need to appear in NEET 2020 while for Architecture, candidates can either appear in NATA or JEE Main Paper – 2.

    Ques. What are the fields I can modify during the Form Correction facility?

    Ans. There is no limit on the number of fields that can be corrected during the form correction process. However, candidates are instructed to read details carefully about category reservation, Kannada, Rural, Special Category, etc. before making any changes. Also, changes to preference for exam centers will be entertained depending on the current availability.
