In the counselling process., firstly I need to apply for the available colleges online., basing on the eligibility and availability the respective colleges will take down students in to the college. That would happen in a mass counselling stage and we have to submit all the original documents to the centre and from there they will reach the college.

Courses in St Joseph are Anna university prescribed courses as it is affiliated under Anna university Chennai. I'll say courses are pretty boring and useless in this generation as it comprises of old topics and devices found ages before. Basics must be taught but also the current technologies existing must also be covered in the courses but unfortunately it's not so and everyone's motive is set to clear the exam and not to improve knowledge.

Placement and job opportunities are really best in St Joseph's. This year nearly 1000 students are placed also there are many companies which come for campus interview in our college. Salary package is also good. Companies were CTS, Infosys, Wipro, Zoho, Soliton, MewSigma, Mindtree, Flextronics etc etc and salary packages ranged from 3lakhs to 10lakhs per annum.

Counselling for fiiling seats in NIT and other colleges used to be done in NIT of respective,suppose if you are from orissa then you have to go NIT rourkela as i was from UP,i have done my counselling at NIT allahabad and got NIT rourkela ceramic engg This course is a unique course and available in only some premier institutes so placement is more than 200%,furhter after allotment of seats 4-5 days time is given to me for locking of seats at allotted NIT,and this way i got admission,at that time it was under top 20 Engineering institutes in india.

Many events in a year used to be celebrated,in winter cultural program used to be conduct and then in winter technical fest used to be conduct, in cultural fest is used to be celebrated in orissa level and technical fest used to be celebrated in all india level also there are many sports used to play in intra NIT and inter NIT level.

I achieved all India rank of 54k through IIT JEE Admission in college was rank based. According to ranks we got our streams. So the cutoff varies every year starting from 13k. This is an IT college so CS ECE IT are the only streams which can be pursued. So according to the rank of students they were alotted the streams. In which I got Computer Science. I was very satisfied.

Campus life here is pretty boring as the college area is really small as compared to other engineering colleges. But because of the prime location it doesn't really matter. Gender ratio is 4:1 (Boys,Girls). Regular lab assignments and quizzes are taken. The robotics society of the college is amazing and really innovative. Many debates and discussions also take place.

According to 2015 report of college highest jop offer was of 85 lakhs and second highest is of 35 lakhs. And many more with 2 lakhs 3 lakhs 1. 5 lakhs wbile some with 5 lakhs . while some with 2. 4 lakhs , in jaipur placement is good if u r not expecting high bucks,Now coming to the main main point as i mention abovr them the woping 85 lakhs and 35 lakhs their is no proof for that some says that they got this by applying outside the campus. And the college also not telling anything abt which company hired them. But some of the companies which visits r TCS. WIPRO, etc many more small and companies with small packages do visit our college . and the average package is abt 2. 6 or less may be more.

Overall if you only want to do btech and only want to focus on engineering its a good. Campus life is good with many extra curricular activites but if u are interested in any activity you should know that ativity means if you want to start from zero level its difficult for u to do that activity since there are no trainer's or any relevent person for any students. If you know any activity then its grt place for you but if no idea but interested for any activity their are less chances for your success. But nothing matters if u have will u can overcome any challenges.

There will be 2 semesters in a year in each semester there will be 2 mid exams in which it consist of our attendance, assignment marks there will be lab internals also we can complete our course in 3 and half years only our college is autonomous it has credit base choice system.

I got the seat in B. V RAJU INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY, NARSAPUR by EAMCET exam. I got 97 marks in EAMCET exam it is a free admission as i got a rank below 10000.

Campus life is pretty vibrant in terms of the different people you get to meet and the various activities and sports that you can play. There are 4-5 restaurants and cafeterias in the campus, which are good enough in number as the campus is not too huge. In terms of gender ratio, I think it is particularly worth mentioning that Tezpur University is one of the better universities in the country. Instead of the usual 1:10 ratio of girls is to boys in other engineering colleges, in Tezpur University it was about 1:5 in my batch. The sports and gym facilities are excellent, second only to the IITs perhaps, if at all, in my experience. There is a healthy robotics society in the campus that was founded by a group of 5-6 students from my batch, of which I was one. The subsequent batches have taken quite a liking to robotics events and regularly participate in robotics competitions actively in the region, from what I hear.

The Computer Science and Engineering department is the best department in Tezpur University. This is mostly due to better quality of professors present in the department compared to other departments, which in turn attacts smart students and reinforces the strength of the department. There is not a huge amount of effort required in terms of assignments, compared to some of the best universities in India (like the IITs). The disadvantage is that students are perhaps not as competent in programming as compared to those from IITs. But the advantage is that students get a bit more time and flexibility to explore their research interests more. There is a lot of freedom in what students want to work on, and its completely up to the student as to how much he/she can extract out of the experience.

The fee structure is different for open catagory(OC), and that for other catogory students. New scheme for fee has been implemented from the academic year 2016-17 for the newly joining students. as per the new scheme the fee structure is dependent on the annual income of parents . if the parents income is below 2 lakhs, institute fee paid will be zero, between 2-5lakhs institute fee will be 1/3rd of total institute fee, and above 5 lakhs full institute fee should be paid (70,000rs per semester).

Every year we have a lot number of events and fests celebrated in our college premises. AArohan-the second biggest annual tech fest in east india organized by CCA club Then comes the one of the biggest cultural fest Recstacy. Mukti, Verve, Motor Zundung ANK,etc fests will be celebrated grandly some special events from Prakriti Club , NSS also fills enthusiasm in the students.

Getting an admission in such a college is a really long process. Once your entrance results are out, you fill in the national engineering application portal known as JOSAA (Joint Seat Allocation Authority). You will have to upload all the relevant documents, details and other information. Then there will be six rounds of seat allocation process. Vasavi college of engineering is the best engineering college in hyderabad and everyone here knows it. I got CSE in Vasavi through JEE Main category ( rank-25,000) My telangana EAMCET rank was 4000 which dint fetch me CSE at VASAVI.

I got admission through my JEE mains score.u have to apply for admission in month of January and after the results of JEE mains ,college makes a merit list based on the scores as it has 300 seats available ,the first 300 people in the list got through the admission process is a one day process one has to come to the college on the specified day and fill up all the forms and deposit the fees by demand draft and on the same day u were be in the hostel.

It's little bit expansive and every year increase for first year it's near about one lake for second year it's again near about one lakh but more the. First year third year again more than second year and in final year fee is more than 3 RE Year but all are near one lake and in every semester exam fee is separate and in every year stationary fee is separate.

Being in biotechnology sector in india you should be aware that you have to work hard, means real hard. Because getting in any research based farm is tough than to be a part of a marketing or sales team. Same is the situation with this college. If you have masters you are qualified for research but if you are a bachelor degree only nobody cares of the scientific research experience you have.

College i must say was a diverse one though mostly it had students from gujrat mumbai and rajasthan, still many students from North, east or south also ended up here. The hilarious part although was the gender ratio in our college, it was 4:1 girls to boys. We even had 3cultural society dance, drama & art with time literature and sports club was added.

The 12 months are not just for the library and classrooms, at first when I entered in the college there is a foundation day in which you used to introduced with the faculty and within a same week there is a fresher's party in which whole faculty takes part in it. After this on each national holiday there are functions and street drama's performed by humanity faculty students which is just hard to describe in my words it is as just awesome. As the time goes there is whole week celebration on Foundation day of Jamia in which VIP's and celebrities are invited. Also, as the spring season approaches flower day fest as held. A small fest is also held in University ground following a farewell parties to sports day.

There is a central placement cell of University which is common for all students belonging to different courses and majors but for Engineering, Law, Management, Dental Faculty. A dedicated placement cell with placement officer is situated in respective faculties. Engineering faculty has a very nice structured placement process, according to the majors like Civil, Electronics, Computer Science etc during placement season (Jan - Sept) companies visits and offer a handsome package. At my time the highest package in Comp Sc in 42 lacs offered by Microsoft Singapore.

PCCE offers four courses i.e Computer Engineering, Information technology Engineering, Electronics and telecommunication and Mechanical engineering steams. Frankly speaking, the syllbus of the goa board is not helpful and advanced enough when it comes to research work. It focusses mostly on theory and content is restricted to syllabus of goa board. There are in total 8 semisters in the four year course. Each semister contains two internal tests in which students get a chance to score as much possible. There is no doubt that the teaching in pcce and focus on curriculam is such that a student can excel with a good score in goa board. But for research if any, a student has to spend extra efforts independently.

I would give 4 on 5 to assess the faculty of your college. Based on my personal experience I can say that for some of the subjects, this college has the most experienced faculty. Whereas for few subjects the faculty are new and they do not have hands on knowledge on the subject matter. I have seen that the faculty is serious enough when it comes to imparting knowledge. Also they make it clear to give personal attention to students. Also when we have any doubts, the faculty puts in additional effort to solve it. Also the content provided during the lectures is quite good enough to be reliable.
