I took AIEEE entrance exam, You have to pass an objective examination covering 11th and 12th syllabus. On the basis of the all India rank secured you can choose the college and Branch.

You have to 3 exams in a semester. One major and 2 minors. Exams schedule are not so hectic you will get enough time to prepare.

Course structure was fairly enough for the purpose of Engineering dirst year was composed of general subjects for all Engineering branches. Second year was mainly focused on Core Hardware Subjects and Database related knowledge and Algorithms as well. Third year, it was more detailed to computer networking and Software Development Processes. There was important study aspects in subjects. Similar to third year was the final year.

Placement is awesome but differs by batch some batches get it very nicely but some has to suffer a lot talking in general, it is awesome as in my batch, more than 30 students got more than 10 Lakh package which is really good for them especially for computer science students, it is really a heaven.

Exams are conducted at the end of each semester and generally during May-June and Dec- jan. Every Semester includes internal tests conducted twice along with submission of assignments and many teachers give weightage and marks during practicals according to that too. Semester exams are conducted at the end of semester and includes both Written and Practical exams. Practical exams include viva and submission of projects or Practical files with experiments conducted during the semester. As I said earlier, summer training/ internship is also there after 4th Semester (minimum 6 weeks), 6th Semester (min. 6 weeks) and 7th Semester (min. 4 months). Marks/grades are also given according to it which adds to the student's Detailed Marksheet.

Placements are sporadic and not on regular basis. Though the training and Placement office there- Mr. Arun Hooda is giving his efforts to improve the placement standards and make students employable. At our time, Relaxo visited our campus and around 5 students were offered jobs (Me being one of them, but I did not join it). Package was around Rs. 2.64 LPA. We were referred to pool campus placement by our TPO for Godrej & Boyce, Delhi and 3 students were placed with them. Package offered by Godrej to them was of Rs. 3.6 LPA. After our batch, Wipro (for CSE and Electronics guys), Kalindi (for Civil guys) and Nestle(Multiple streams) too has visited campus for placements, though I am not too sure about the packages offered by them.

Campus life is pretty chill cause the campus is quite huuuuuuuge(extra strain on huge) and we had a international level cricket stadium in our campus. Gender ratio is pretty much balanced i'd say and due to the fact that college is in mumbai I had a batch of classmates who came from different parts of india(me being one of them) there are many extracurricular activities if you have the eagerness and enthusiasm to join any. Also the faculty is quite supportive in this regard.

There are scholarship facilities offered by our colleges, but only to the sc/st/nt etc classes, and not as such to ebc class(who need it the most). But later the ebc class scholarship was implemented (though it's flawed still because students fake their SEC and get it). There were other scholarships from the state and central government as well. The office staff were quite helpful in this regard to let us know about the same.

I had 70% throughout engineering and had got off campus placements as the placement cell was not trained and had no experience in placing students before . AS we faced a lot of difficulties as already placed students were the ones repeatedly getting placed and no organized step was taken to filter out placed and non placed students who were eligilbe for placements (60% above in engineering). P.S : only good thing they did was conducted amcat examination for all students by spending 750 rs , in which i performed well and through that got calls from various mnc and got placed in off campus.

I took Karnataka examination authority (K.E.A) conducted yearly examination i.e Common entrance test (C.E.T) on the year 2009 and back when i studied the total marks was 180 in which all were multiple choice questions and objective aptitude and i secured 79 marks out of 180 and my c.e.t rank was 10505. I opted this college as i wanted a decent college undet VTU university and this college was falling under my rank category and comparitivly good review and reputation and good placements in list of colleges in bangalore.

Exam structure was normal. 6 subjects per semester & 3-4 lab subjects in every semester. Daily 1 lab subjects was there in the time table. It was sometime hectic & sometime chilled out. In lab we have to maintain the file or projects for the rating. Theory subjects exam was of 80 marks 28 was the paasing. Total 1000 marks was there out if which 480 marks of theory subject & 520 marks of sessional including lab marks, class test marks.

I have given CGPET entrance exam & scored rank under 1000. The admission process was done by counselling. This college was closed by around 1500th rank & I took computer science & engg. The admission process was not so difficult. At the time of counselling & selecting seats for the particular branch we provided the last date of the admission. We have to go to the college & do the admission.

Campus life is very enjoyable here. All girls and boys are treated equally. Gender equality ratio is good. There is unity amongst students and teachers here. There are many competition arranged here like debate, sports, days, festivals, and many more competition so as to make students studying well.

Placement cell in this college is very well. College provide 100% Placement to the students who have completed the course. If you crack the interview process then you can get decent salary package. Many big companies come for Jobs in this college. You can inquiry on the college website.

Faculty was the most wonderful thing at SIET that I experienced. They were more a kind of friends, always supportive, hardworking individuals. They taught selflessly with full devotion. They were wonderful human as well, I certainly miss them sometimes. Wish we all can work in a collaborative environment all our life, but you get it only for 4 years, that's the beauty of it.

Admission process was quite smooth, I had to report to college after 3 days once I got a seat in Counselling. I was delighted with the behavior of staff at the time of admission. I dint waited much, dint stand in long queues, everything was completed within few minutes. I was impressed by the Management at that time itself.

After appearing JEE MAIN entrance, a month later, the odisha JEE forms were available online in which we had to fill our secured marks along with the marks scored in 12th board. We had filled our choicable colleges along with the interested branch and then a state rank list was declared based on the marks scored and then we were alloted a seat from the choices from the list locked by us.

The exam structure is precise and to the point and is approachable to the students. The labs are hectic and regular classes top it up. plus the assignments and projects leave us tired after the entire day. exams have always been stressful but since it is scheduled to be conducted so it has to be conducted at the certain time of the month.

It's better one the management level of experience and also created new environment student related all thinks its good environment compared others yes it's better one think it's useful all level of experience and good levels in the colleges yrs easily gone my colleges.

Like any other NIT, Ranchi has pretty good placements. Placement is varied form branch to branch. Some branch has more than 90 percent placement while other has very low placements it and cse has mostly more than 80 percent placement record in our college while other branches also had good placement companies offer from 4 lakh per annum to around 9 lakh per annum the companies came this year are infoedge, Oxigen, TCS, yodlee, Infosys, vedisoft and many more for it and cse and offered packages in the above range. Many more companies will be coming in upcoming session.Placements are good for all branches and almost all average to decent scores get a package above 3.5 lacs.

The course curriculum was fantastic and its improving every year you are going to learn each and every subject with nice details. 1st year all branches had a common syllabus and from the 2nd year we use to have our brace specific syllabus. The course is good enough and this is also good faculty guided by its department. All faculties are educated from good college and universities. The course is all about to study the world of materials about its characteristics from microscopic level to macroscopic one. Required facilities of labs and instruments are provided to understand the things of studies.

Well, Lovely Professional University for sure will always be special. I guess for everyone their college has a different place in their lives. LPU was larger than life, amazing facilities, classrooms, malls and thousands of eating out options. Something that everyone loves. It is just that the mess food should be improved and upgraded to non vegetarian.

I went to an agent in Patna and he helped me fill all the details. I paid him the booking amount to book my seat in engineering and MBA in advance pay and sign itself. The process was pretty easy and i had to simply sign forms. The agent was helpful and gave me an entire overview of the college.

Exam structure was quiet cool. That was not at all hectec rather it was chilled out. We all missed one exam intentionally because that was a tough subject to prepare as there was no permanent faculty to it at that time. But the faculty was so cooperative, that we gave exam later and cleared with good marks.

No one was placed through college. However, there were pool campus placements where we went and faced some interviews. There were around 10 candidates which cracked some interviews in those campus placements. I was unfortunately not one of them. We attended interviews with ACCENTURE and HCL.

Those were the best days of my life. Every incoming batch is welcomed with a college level inaugural. Then the seniors of each batch host a fresher's party for their respective juniors. Gender ration can be called at 3:5, thats there are 3 girls to share within 5 boys. All students are Indians, but there is diversity among the state. with 80% natives from karnataka and 20% from the rest of India. Economically, its a middle class and lower middle class college, with the fringes coming from a wealthy or humble family.

The college is a 100 year old institution that brings an illustrious heritage. With age, the buildings have become old and the image has lacked lustre, but the jobs keep coming in and everyone wants to hire UVCE students. The classes may not be regular all the time and the teachers might not be too keen to completing portions, but the students are self sufficient and know how to train themselves, which is why a UVCE passout is called a finished product.

There are different proess to the college but my knowledge college councilling process the mark obtained in MPPET and choose the different college and select any one college of our marks and second process CLC Process Thats mean College level council there are depend only our 12th scoring mark get.

The culture of campus is full of art lovers, such as of theater, singing, dancing, photographers, sculptures , linguists ,and more. The university team almost every year brings National prizes in the inter-university youth competitions. In sports the university reaches state and national levels too, and have also brought few national prizes in women basketball, men football , chess etc,

The faculty of the college are learned, well qualified and friendly. The student teacher ratio is very good. The teachers are dedicated towards the teaching as well as very much devoted to their own research interests. The department is blessed with a variety of teachers affiliated to different field of study on the subject. The departmental faculty academic culture is heterogenous in nature and both mainstream as well as radicals belong here.

Yes, my college provided internship. They arranged many job opportunities, invited many MNC to our college and nearly 300 students placed in different companies.

I filled application form in the college for B.SC.Chemistry course. I got admission and was asked to pay the fee for the course. After paying fees, I got admission confirmed and got admitted in the college. The Principal conducted interview for my admission and he asked me several questions. I attended all the questions and answered patiently. Finally he got satisfied and gave me admission in this college.

National service scheme (NSS) I was a member. My selected members attended NSS and NCC (National cadet corps) was another event happended in my college. we used to attend the annual camps in nearby /selected villages and my college professors use to attend the camps. We use to build bridge, road to selected villages. We use to teach the village children for a period of 10 - 15 days during our stay there.

AIEEE exam used to take place always after the board exams of intermediate and the notification used to get released in the month of December or January. I took the exam in the month of April and the result came out in the month of June. After the result, the counselling procedure started in the month of June itself. I secured AIR 25591(OBC-NCL) and got Biotechnology at NIT Rourkela in round 1 of counselling.As I was not interested in taking that course, so I waited for round 2 and again I got Biotechnology at NIT Rourkela in round 2. So I again left my seat and waited for 3rd round and I got Biotechnology at NIT Allahabad in round 3. Though I was not interested in Biotechnology, but still I joined the college because of three reasons. Firstly because of its reputation. Secondly, I came to know that I can take part in round 4 and 5 of counselling even after joining the college and can change the branch if I would get any branch in that respective college that I joined. Thirdly, even if I don't get any up gradation in round 4 and 5 of counselling, still I have 2 more chances of changing my branch either through internal sliding in which if any seats remains vacant, college gives chance to the students to change their branch on the basis of rank or after 2 semesters on the basis of pointers. So, I got chemical engineering through internal sliding.

Since the department was new (5 years old in 2011), so the faculty were a mixture of some experienced and some young ones. The department was putting its 100% to develop the chemical engineering department and to provide the students best possible facilities possible. Some laboratories were not there in the department like heat transfer lab, mechanical operations lab but our HOD helped the students in gaining practical knowledge by seeking help from mechanical department, biotechnology department, chemistry department and many other. So I would say that the faculty were trying hard to create a challenging environment for the students to perform out of their limits.

I have written the entrance exam to admit in that institute. We need to score the more the cut marks to get the admission in this college. I got that marks and i got an admission. Coming the Administration process we need to show our previous degree certificates and need to pay the opted fee before getting the admission number. And also we have to submit all the xerox copies of all the previous year marks lists.

Might be campus life is good as they will enjoy a lot in that institute as it is very big and gender ratio is 50:50. So every once can get the good friends to enjoy their life at college. It is the good time to enjoy as college life is the very good life to enjoy in any moment. After that it is not possible. They will conduct Sports meet also and it is very good in nature.
