6 semesters each semester having 6-8 papers and the last semester have only one paper and one main project on their respective specialization for us exams time were we felt so chill because we prepare for our exams on the daily basis.everyday we do some group discussions on each subject this will help us to prepare for the exams early.

There is a big alumni network is working in the college we have chennai chapter, dubai chapter, saudi arabia chapter and Singapore chapter in our alumni association our members are from the 70's 80's and all our pg new hostel build by our dubai alumni students and our MBA building was funded by saudi arabia alumni students.

There were like these events in college every year: PIET Quest - This is for the students joining the college, the students who apply to the college quest get listed by there merit of marks and then are given a rapid fire round of question, for which they compete and the winner gets: 1 lakh cash prize, An Activa Scooter, An iPod, as the prizes. I joined college before this tradition started. Carbuncle: In this a famous celebrity is called up in college and the hit music numbers, gazals, songs, rap, dance are performed by them. For instance so far we have had: Honey Singh, J-Star, Kumar Vishwas, Jazz Dhammi, Badshah, Neha Kakkar, Jassi Gill, Babbal Rai etc. I have taken part in hosting committee of the same in 2010, was a great show. Management Seminars: In this a War Vetran or a famous management guru comes to college to give us their wisdom and experiences and to motivate students for doing great work. PDP Classes: Personality development classes, this was an continous affair that has lasted so far, this is organized every year before Training and Placement time, so as to enhance and boost student morale, boost communcation confidence etc. by famous coach Dr. Surya Narayan Bahadur, he's a great guy who has achieved a lot in life.

Campus Life is good in all like any other college, i would rate it a 8 out of 10 Gender Ratio is like 70% guys and 30% girls Student Parties are fairly regular, based on level, Cafeteria parties, hostel parties, festivals, bunks, movie parties, mass bunks, jump the wall and run parties. Pretty amazing i would say and all year round. Workshop are in a lot, now that we have a amphie theatre and two seminar halls and a Video Conferencing room. Pretty neat stuff and its like quite tech advanced. There's a cyber lab in the college, if you feel like that you have a free lecture, go over to the internet and browse for whatever knowledge you wanna gain. It was restricted network so no worries. Students from each part of the country were in our campus like from kashmir, nepal, delhi, haryana, punjab, UP, MP etc and it was very diverse and students were very cool and open about it, no racial discrimination, political status was cool, economic status was not an issue, i hail from a poor family but i can attest to it, no worries at all.

Our college has a huge campus. Full of trees, small park, two big play grounds. Gender ratio is almost equal im the whole college. But as we are in electrical engineering department we have 8 girls and 64 boys. Biotechnology has the same ratio in reverse order. So, the overall ratio remains same. College is involved in many sports. We have college cricket team, college football team, college basketball team, college table tennis team, archery team, swimming team. Yes, we have our own swimming pool. As extracurricular activities are concerned, our college has participated in many debate event and we own. We also conduct intra college and inter college debate competition. Every year a technical fest called Dakshh is happened, where many robotics events are there. Our college also conducts workshop on robotics. We have our fashion team. College has its own street plays and drama club maned Bodnam. Student diversity is there. Every year election is happened. There are three lobby in this college. Which lobby wins the election has the chance to make students Council. For this sometimes students become intolerant, but the management has good control over it.

Every year our college conducts technical fest called Dakshh for 3 days. It has huge prize money, because pf that many colleges from kolkata as well as some other near by cities colleges are attracted to it. The fest able to collect some big sponsorships to grow up its revenue. It also conducts one the biggest cultural fest of kolkata named Eclecia. Many events, many participants, a huge gathering happens in this fest. Some memorable consert happens. Some of the big names are A. R. Rahaman, KK, Mohit Chowhan, Anupam Roy and goes on. Love it.

Gender ratio is almost equal. I would say 55:45. Till undergraduate study, girl students have a separate college known as Abdullah Hall. It includes girls high school ,girls senior secondary school and Women's college for graduate studies. The university encourges extra curricular activities to an extent that we have a swimming pool, riding club, basketball court, gym, hockey court, cricket ground, atheletic ground, etc. Competitions are held every now and then. Students belonging to different religions and belonging to different cultural backgrounds study in AMU. There is no discrimination based on race, ethnicity, religion, gender. We have AMU students union for the sake of students' problems and needs.

Best so far my masters syllabus included practice teaching, dissertation along with other theoritical subjects. Practicr teaching allowed me to teach English to undergraduate students of my college. It exposed me to what I am going to do in future. Dissertation, on the other hand equiped me with better writing skills. It also introduced me to new areas like how to do referencing, how to avoid plaigarism, which is an important part of research.

Our college is a definition of hell, because you can't bunk a class and spend time with friends or study about environment so campus life little bit scary. gender ratio male/female:60/40 but never had experience like diversity. once a year so called sports under 100 rules of restriction never enjoyed hopefully and coming to labs nothing found interested.

Technolites- its a technical fest where everyone is welcomed all over the world which the day would take certain programs conducting for fun,education, advertisements etc, and TAIT - it's an IT class fest and likewise every branch has separate fests. and finally annual day along with ortus day celebration.

Core companies are not coming to college if you interested in service oriented job. The companies like Accenture, cognizant, wipro Infosys are the major recruiters for mechanical not a single company is coming to this college ever. Ig is impossible to get placed for mechanical students. Neither electronic companies are coming here. People who is the university ranker has to placed in service oriented company for 25 k salary

Faculty is very expert. Every one is Phd. Or perusing phd. But what they are teach is nothing but which is in the tech max or local public author book. I really get worst experience with faculty because they judge students on their attendance not on performance in the exam. All the term works is in their hand so never mess up with them.

Campus life in Tkm rocks. Gender ratio is about 40:60 W:M. Mechanical doesn't have any girls almost every time. There are various workshop sessions arranged by IEEE and other associations. Students from all over India and even international students study in Tkm. Most of the out of kerala students are from North Eastern states. Pupil from Nigeria and other countries are also there. There ain't any racism in Tkm. Majority of students here are Muslims and the management has a biased attitude towards them. They are given special scholarships and forced conversion in to Islam can be found here and there, but not so in an alarming rate to worry. Women empowerment cells are present for protecting the interests of women. SFI is the ruling party here.

Course consists of 8 semesters and 56 subjects. The course primarily focuses on various subjects from a variety of fields. From first year to final year we go through different kinds of tests and experiments to reach the level of an engineer. Basic practicals are there for first year, from where it gets pretty tough. Final year has seminars along with project in the final sem. There are subjects from civil, mechanical, automobile engineering, Fluid mechanics, Propulsion engineering, and management.

Yes in our college there will be a monthly exam to check the performance of the students and to check the how the lectures are teaching to the students. And they divide the students as per their monthly ranks to different classes and try to make each and every student bright coming to lab. We will have lab section on every Friday computer lab consist of 50 computers where we can easily practice on our practicals.

Fees is affordable in our college because we will get the scholarship from the government to pay to the college actually our college staff automatically deducted the scholarship amount from the main fees and they ask to pay the remaining fess. Actually college fees is 17000 after deduction of scholarship we had paid 12000/- per year.

Fee structure, IMO, is not expensive. In comparison to other colleges it was around 65 k\ year in the period of 2009-13 (open category) and hostel fees was around 30 k which included food too. In my experience i never faced an issue of me having a question and my professors not having an answer to it. They all were dedicated and expected the same dedication from their students. One of our professors had shared his number with his students and we were allowed to call him at any day any time if we had any query. The only thing that I hated about my professors was them interfering in our personal lives and judging their students.

Regarding placement our university has records of 100% placements. TCS is the backbone of our university. It will take a lot of students. Apart from this IBM, Zoho, Musigma, Gofrugal, Chargebee Think and Learn,Thorough Good etc. Regarding department wise Ashok Leyland, Bosch, Ford,L &T, Paypal, Hyundai, Directi, Amazon, Microsoft.Around 90 to 100 companies will be coming for placements. Every student will get placed definitely.The package range is in between 27 LPA (Directi) to 3 LPA.

We have good placements like TCS We have social events like Daksh, Kuruksastra. Daksh is a technical fest and Kuruksastra is a cultural fest where we invite famous singers and bands to perform.Our class hours are hectic and we need more holidays. As students, we participate in organizing these events and thus gain a lot of experience and new friends College hostels could be better with their food.

The courses and electives were great to understand computer science in depth. You can choose elective form other branches like Mechanical, Electronics. This provides students from different branches to interact and collaborate. Here is the list of subjects which I liked the most : Image Processing and pattern recognition, Design of Operating System, System Programming, Advanced Java Programming, Distributed Systems, Analysis and Design of Algorithms, Computer Graphics, Advanced Microprocessors, Theory of Computation, Database Management Systems, Computer Architectures & Peripherals, Compiler Design.

I have got admission through state board entrance examination GUJCET. I had rank 220. I was having 3 option in my mind Nirma, DAIICT and LD. The prefferd branch was CE. In Gujrat these are the 3 best colleges that can provide you platform, opprtunities. The Placement rates in Nirma and DAIICT were great. TOP companies form IT comes for on campus hiring. Nirma has great reputation in good quality education. Pranav Mistry was one of the almuni.

At our time the placements are very less the companies came at that time are virtually, biha. There are pool drives in vignan family companies came to campus those are tcs, ibm, tech mahindra, cmc they offer between 3 to 3.5lakhs the no of companies visiting the campus have been increased now. At our time only few students are placed in on campus.

Many workshops, sport events will be conducted every year there is no discrimination. Robotics ,and many workshops have taken place no politics will be played in the campus.they will treat all the students equally. All students are encouraged equally .I see only some particularities in the staff towards students.

There's almost every time some event is going on in the college which is one of the best and interesting thing of the college. There's technical, cultural and literary committee for this in the college and they organize fun and educational events. For ex. ECLECTICA is the annual cultural fest of NIT Raipur which is very big and students from various colleges from CG and other states come to participate in this. Also there's tech fest AAVARTAN which is organised every year in which Robotics, coding and various events are included.

The placement of the institute is very good. Around 30-40 companies visit campus every year for campus recruitment. The placement percentage is also very good, around 70-80%. Most companies are software based which includes OFSS, HP, Polaris, Infosys, cognizant which are mass recruiters. Also there are some companies which offer high package around 10 LPA like YODLEE, PSUs also visit which offers above 10 LPA like coal India. So the average package is 4-5 LPA.

Less than other colleges like KITS or VIT but quite expensive than the facilities provided by the college, from both side faculty as well as the hostel the college was neither interested nor responsible for any good of students. They know money only. At my time it was approx. 40,000/ per semester.

Boys and girls had 70:30 ratio and hypocrite environment in college no, college don't have any interest towards anything. Every thing was done by students. College only knows money, we had to do all. The college was neither interested nor responsible. Hostel in timingsfor both was 6pm.

The college does have fests like Utkarsh and Visions. The college manages to attract good amount of crowd. These fests have musical performances, competitions and other activities. Never been a part of any fest as I used to be busy with work. Hence will not be commenting as it may not be as authentic as someone who has experienced it.

Faculty is pretty average. A few great professors and few below average. Unfortunately for the name that the college has, some faculty just dont match up. Teachers are friendly but office staff are utterly useless. They take up hours of our time for a job that barely takes 10 mins and were never considerate.

Leading practical life without any social status n races 3.college provides good opportunities in sports, cultural and NSS NCC which includes separate teachers to monitor the activities of students. Include separate grounds for both indoor n outdoor games and 2000 seating capacity auditorium for the practice of cultural activities. 4. Every year once inter-college competitions me debate, collage, clay modeling, on stop painting, etc All these activities are conducted for competition in college, zonal and national levels.

In agriculture courses students got chance in their favorite fields like public sectors (AAO, AO in Dept. Of Agriculture Govt of Karnataka ) and private companies which offered better opportunities for students improve their lufecin private sector about 80% students got selected companies ITC, Monsanto, Syngenta, dove agro crop science, coromandel, Zuari Industries, Private banks like hdfc, axis, any private coffee boards, pesticide companies and irrigation companies like Jain, metafilm. Agricultural related NGOs packages offered 2.5 lakh to 4lakh per annum based on the type of jobs n field the company related.

Campus life was more than average i would say. It all depends on the person mostly. If you are a jolly fella, you would really love this place. Gender ratio was 1:1 in the university. Sports was a major area for this university. A number of athletes reached to national levels from my university. Many other opportunities were also provided to the students like time to time debate sessions, sports meets, inter campus programs etc.

Fee structure was feasible and the hostel charges were also fair. Most of the departments had the same fee structure but very few had different one as per the program. As this is a government university so fee structure was pretty much affordable. Around 4-5 lacs were the maximum charge for BE program including everything for the four years.

I am really fond of this job and course because it is related healthcare and i like to study health problems aes college provided us internship and this internship was the best part of our course because we learnt a lot of in sense of our future and experience which is now help us a lotnd their treatment
