The main even is cultural fest sargam the most awaited event then its rudraksh commerce fest n many more only drawback is students in kasturi nagar campus have to go to marathalli campus which is the main campus of nhce for placements the nhc campus does not provide for transportation which is actually an issue. At least for me and some along wid me people with there own vehicles do not find it tough but for bmtc travellers and ppl who don't understand kannada the local language its a nightmare.

MAT its a good exam easy to score admission process is same as cat there's not much difference. Preparations also I would say if u r preparing for CAT then that much preparations is more than enough. Most of the mat portions are covered in cat. Cat is more complicated than mat. Like I said earlier that mat is a scoring exam. N most of the college accepts mat score.

First of all Its one of the best college which offering specialization in welding technology. So, a lot of job opportunities for mechanical engineering. So there is a good opportunity for Mech. Enginners. For mechanical engineering: Lot of good companies came for placement e.g. Mahindra autos, Punjlloyd, JayPee, Kay Jay Forging, TCS, BuIlt Paper, Trident group. The stipend given is deff. for diff. company but on an average at that time was aprrox 16,000 per month.

There are many events goes time to time.The main event is SLIET Techfest. In this SLIET invites other colleges also to participate. Events include Technical paper presentation, Tecnical poster presentation, Model presentation, Engineering work shop, Technical quiz.Other than cultural programs like dancing, singing, skit. And also one night 'Star Night'. In this a celebrity comes to perform.

In my college boys are more than girl however number of girls are studies in my college in my college girls have respected by all student and always support them ragging is totali baned in my college workshops is available and student regularly work in workshops no political issues arises in my college it is totally politic free in college no cast and religious consider all student work together library is availed and all book are get their.

Various companies are came for the placements in our college they took a open interview of student and select for job they give a offer to student for a job and give better salary in civil engineering different building construction companies and private sectors came for placement a governments provide also vacancies in differnt project like agricultural, raod construction, building construction etc.

The examination through which I came was CAT 2015. I obtained 96.79%tile. Apart from these I opted for the IIMs, TAPMI, IBS, IISc, IIT Delhi. I missed the last date for IMI and MDI, so out of these options this was the best college I could get based on the rankings of college and placement which I was offered. I was not selected for IIT Delhi.

There are a number of events organised in the college by the different communities. Some of the notable ones are : Passion which has participation from majority of IIMs, IITs, IMI- New Delhi, MDI, etc.Chakravyuh, League of Titans- Internal to college.On a quarterly basis Pizza Nite is organsied by the committee which handles mess operations.

The job placement and job oppertunites was very poor. It was not providing goood companies and good job placement. It was only providing consultancy only and that was not good.

There are the few seniors was very good always ready to help others but i can not say this all are good, but still i respect all of them.

I would like to thank not only the staff and principal, founder of our organization who provided us excellent opportunity to grow our knowledge and theme of life lived over more than 3 years to get my degree completed wish all faculty and the college may.

Equal genders 80 in a class 50% were female students, labs and facilities provided over there are pretty much sufficient, co education also good part of the studies.

This being a medical college, the curriculum did not include any internship or project. Stipend paid by the college Rs. 5000/- during first year , Rs. 7000/- during second year Rs. 10.000/- during third year .

This being a medical college, no placements are undertaken. However, all the students passing out from here are hired by reputed laboratories with excellent packages (7,00,000 - 10,00,000 PA) .

College placement department was not that much good but not that much bad also it's average. Most of the companies are coming but due to through out first class criteria many students were not able to apply.

College is not offering any internship to any student. Students need to check with company either they are offering or not. Internship is one kind of subject in last year first semester. No stipend offered.

Placement was not that good. If you go by brand only TCS came that too for the pool campus. Though Security forces came and selected couple of students for SSB. Now it was upto us to crack the SSB. The college had contacts with small companies offering less package.

Well we had cultural event that used to go on for atleast 3 days. It was fun. Apart from that star night also used to happen, which was also a plus. Efforts were put in to make event a huge sucess and that used to happen.

Senior Students of this college very supportive natures. and always support in study, help to prepare notes of any subject, they support always in all type of work like sports, study and another like any need of juniors.

They organized cultural programmes time to time and also organized management festivals. They organized in big arrangements of cultural programmes. I also participate in cultural programmes of the college.

Shaastra is the annual technical festival of Indian Institute of Technology Madras, Chennai, India and the first ISO certified festival of its kind.Saarang is an annual cultural festival organized by the students of IIT Madras. It is usually held during the last week of January every year. This festival was formerly called 'Mardi Gras'. During the week-long festival, students organize events like music shows, quizzes, lectures, fashion shows etc. Students from various colleges in the city and other parts of the country participate in the festival.

Seniors are very helpful and they can clarify all your doubts and they can share all things but you have to interact with seniors. I have interact with one of the alumni during project submission. He helped a lot of things like data collections and any doubts.

No placement or Job opportunities during study in college. Only the Technical qualification like diploma, Engineers will get more opportunities than graduates followed by post graduates. Kindly remove this rule and make the base subjects graduates also need to get a jobs. So the basic knowledge and development may more towards the country.

Only OBC will be getting scholarship, free in hostel and very much less fee/ no examination fee. But for the general Merit students with lower income will be not provide any major scholarship. This should be removed and also provide scholarship for general Merit students with lower income.

Every year the college used to hold a 'Freshers Welcome'. The event was a grand event with lots of cultural programmes. It was the best time to initiate a very healthy relationship with our seniors. All types of raggings came to an end on this day. Apart from Freshers Welcome event the college on a regular basis held seminars where prominent business magnets were invited to share their experiences with us. We asked questions and they replied. These seminars proved to be very helpful in the future. Also quiz programmes were held on a regular basis.

The course was huge. The entire course was split into 4 semesters each of 6 months duration, but we got at an average a time period of only 4.5 months. This by itself proves how difficult it was to complete the syllabus. The college library was well equipped with books and it is worth telling that we purchased only a few books as almost all books were available in the library and that too in sufficient numbers. Overall we were satisfied with our college faculty as well as with the basic infrastructure.

Faculty's over here are one of the best knowledgeable faculties. They have good standards in teaching the student. Accounts sir was my favorite sir as he never got bored in repeating the chapter till the time everyone of us never understood. There was a Professor Kailash V,he is very well known for the Organisation of Commerce lectures. He has written many books on OC. I'll make sure that my kid if opts for commerce will go to this college.

There were activities like Hindi Sahitya kala parishad (HSKP) where most of the competitions and wellness were created by this group. There were also inter college debates in English with regards to the current affairs. There is also inter college,singing competition,Drama competition and many more conducted by the college.

College maintain a Facebook page through which we all are connected. We are also maintaing it in Whats App. College is having an Alumni meet every year where we are getting personal invitation by college Director.

I did it with Vodafone Goa it was wonderful. Nice exposer to market and analytical study of competitors in the market as per different plans with them and consumer behaviour.Rs.6800 for a month.

The course curriculum was affiliated to CUSAT. Quiet a tough syllabus and the faculty was young and talented. The results used to come in time and it was very difficult to get good marks as the evaluation was very tough. Only after clearing first semester, we can be promoted to the third semester, and only after passing in the second semester, we will be admitted to the fourth and so on until eighth semester.

Campus life was super. Good assignments were given by faculty. They used to give us opportunity to take seminars in the class. Gents were more and ladies were less in number. Politics was not there. There was no discrimination with regard to race,religion, economic status etc.

Though there were lot of intra- and inter college events organized, I did not participate in any. I preferred not to participate in any cultural events, though the technical events provided us good experience.

Each semester cost around Rs.25000, excluding the uniform, cutlery, hostel fees, mess fee, etc. I feel that the fee structure is expensive. They are not particularly accommodative in providing loan facility.

If one really wants to do engineering and is proactive, then its the appropriate place to utilize 4 years. Your 4 years will be dedicated to the college and believe me if you are active enough, colleges campus is enough to enjoy your 4 years of life with

College organises lots of technical, cultural activities. Atharva is one them with participation from 4-5 other colleges with no such discrimination based on the race. One need to be proactive to be benefited in every possible way.

In 4 Year duration there were many indoor and outdoor activity which were celebrated. Event such as Zephyr, Sojourn, Inertia, College tech fest are celebrated during even and odd semester. Out of those festival Inertia is the sport festival where all the branch people participate and play all the games such as Football Basket ball, Cricket, Volley ball etc. Intra sport is one fest where people from other college participate. Also Sojourn and Zephyr are the cultural festival.

There are various scholarship running for the people. You need to ask the internal team of the college and also you need to go through the website and get ideas regarding all the scholarship which are available. For ex. Dorabji Tata Trust is the scholarship which i came to know in 2nd Year of engineering. There are various state government and merit scholarship which are running in the college.
