Participated in various tournaments like cricket tournament, chess tournament, hocky tournament, volly boll tournament and ofcourse annual function was very well last but not the least fare well party for last year. It was amazing & very interactive. We are still in good touch each & every students along with our professors.

No scholarship / loan facility offered by my college hence i have not availed any of these type of facility therefore i can not comment upon it.

Is totally feasible but at the time of late fee they used to charge a lot like hell. It was not more than 4.5 laces. They also used to stop the students from taking hall tickets in exams. They were not considering the situation of exams.

Placement was not up to mark. I will give 3 out of 10 points in that. First there was no placement cell in first year then when it came it was all shit.

My college organize melange cultural and technical events every year.and the vishwostav is th only cultural event which is conducted every year where students perform and showcase there talent and skill and increase the stage performance. The college have team of student which participate in intercollege, natak/drama competition i.e firodiya and purushyottam karandak where students showcase there dramatic skill as well.

The course curriculum is well structured and foucuses on each important point in particular subject. The curriculum is designed in such a way that it covers the main topics and give the deep understanding to the student as well. The course is created by taking reference from the other universities and they designed there own curriculum which includes subject for soft skill developement also.

The three years that i had spent in the college made me learn my life, people around me taught me what is the society that i' am going to live in, profs in there taught me how to survive. I had gone through a few parties out of which one was mine for which i had been absent for the whole day, eventhough i was made to spend 500 which was a huge amount in my life history. Men and women will be mostly equal i found that there was a great understanding between both of us in order to have the discrimination away. There were no workshops since mine was an arts and science college.

College strength was very small but the participation level will be way tooooooo high than any other colleges. I have participated in so many cultural activities and sports. Cricket and kabadi were my favorite games, but i didnt stand a chance to participate in those sports in the inter college meet. but i did my best in skit, play, event management, and others.

Campus life is good and it has Sports area, basket ball, football ground all were there.

The college has 3 major Festivals ;Waves : The cultural festival . Generally happens in October- November period. It a 3 day festival where lots of other colleges from all over India are invited. There are a lot of singing, dance, talent competitions organized.Quark : It the annual Techno-Managerial festival. College students from across the world participate in technical activities, events and competitions happening here.Spree : is our college annual sports festival. Top athletes from across India come down to participate in football, cricket, badminton, Chess etc.

There is one technical event known as technovation. It is a good event but depends upon the funding of the college. It is only organized if college funds the money. Now it does not takes place because college do not fund the money and it was hosted by students with there own effort and collections from some sponsors.

A college cultural fest named udbhav is celebrated for two days. It is a very low level program and another technical program named technovation is done, (cant say celebrated), well it will be very frustrating as one will always be complaning about the program and what can be done to save this.

Campus life is good as most of the students are day scholars and do come from various socio-economic backgrounds. There is good gender ratio, almost 1:1 and more than 1:1 in some departments in favor of girls. Politcally, the college is motivated towards anti establishment for long but the politics never crossed the limits in our times.

Separate entrance exam for Presidency CollegeI scored 44/100 in the exam (believe me, I ranked amongst the top 10 students, it shows the level of question papers for the entrance exam)This was the best undergraduate college at that time (Ranked 2nd after St Stephens College in Time's ranking of Indian degree colleges that year).

The placements statistics for the past few years have been very bright with some multinational tycoons visiting the college. Also the armed forces have visited the college trying to induct students for the defence forces companies like the Royal Bank of Scotland, Verizon wireless, Samsung, LG, Hero, Honda, Microsoft,Google, Facebook, Amazon and many others have visited the college the packages offered were as high as 18 lpa.

Yes the college arranges for internships for students of the prefinal year a number of companies pertaining to multifarious background visit the institute to induct students from different branches. Companies like Royal Bank of Scotland, Amazon India, Microsoft, Samsung, Google, Idea, Nissan, Hero and Honda have visited the college. The stipend offered ranges between 7000 28000/ being offered per month.

Seniors there could be no better teachers who can prepare you for what is waiting for you outside you wake up to reality right from the first day and you are no more dependent on your parents you learn things the hard way but you learn it for a lifetime by the time you get out, your are prepared to face the wackiest bosses, 24 hour shifts, office politics anything that is thrown at you.

A 300 acre naturally air conditioned campus with a lovely canopy of giant tress, shrubs, bird life, herbivores was an oasis of life in the dry city of chennai politics, economics, religion, gender equality all were absorbed from the might traditions, thus needed no spoon feeding culturals, events, music, arts, debates all were present almost everyday and was simply brilliant.

MBA in distance education is not very expensive. Therefore student who is having some financial difficulties can also opt for distance education for their good future. If you talk about fees for MBA then I would say that it is just similar to graduation level fees. It is around 56000 for complete course. I used to pay 13500 per semester. To get proper knowledge on fees structure,you can visit the university campus.

The University has been progressively upgrading systems of student assessment. The exam structure of SMU is very good. They provide online exam method. There are generally optical questions. SMU DE exams are multiple choice question The question paper includes 75 questions. You have to do all questions.

Fee structure was very expensive . If we will total except accommodation then even 2.5 lakhs for academic fee and Transportation and extra expensive after that accommodation fee was excluded very less scholarship was there till that time then if you r taking B.tech you will pay 10 thousand less fee then who r taking a Hons because of just they will taught extra subject but at the end of the degree you will get to know you will not read any extra subject then the B.tech regular students after that fee Each year 8% increment was there from your previous fee and some of the students took admission after that they realize they had took mistake and some of them attempt suicide due to pressure.

Sports were there there were Basket ball courts proper where student can play it all depends upon student choice only they were having some of their college teams as well there were inter department competitions. Workshops was their conducted by the IT committees where some of the companies was good some of them just came for their Advertisement only so that student can go and do training from there paid and free workshops were there cultural societies were there including NSS where students use tot go to the Dump schools etc.

The college got students from every state of India. They keep organizing parties and small get together workshops. The college also celebrates festival like lohri, holi and other regional festivals at hostel. There is no ragging and racial discrimination at college.

Placements are very nice the college segregate the students into different groups on basis of various grounds such as qualification, communication skills and other attributes according to the same the placement team helps student to apply for various companies.

I didn't get the stipend but I did my training free of cost after clearing their exam. It was mohali base company where I did the training and we created the project for the hostel management and was successfully finished the same.

It's 6 sem are there and you ll learn all computer languages including data structures c , c++ java . Software engineering, system design and many more. You ll get the accounting subjects as well and system software as well.

This is the most enjoyable moment in our college.one technical fest called samyak and a cultural fest called surabhi will be conducted every year and also a sports fest will also be conducted. Samyak is recorded as the 2nd biggest fest after VIT in 2013. 24000 students are registered for various events and a total of 32000 visited the campus on that day

Fee structure of our batch is moderate and it is 45000 per semester and 90000 per annum. But now the the fee is 70000 per semester and 140000 is the fee for annum. I felt it is so expensive for an average family to spend the amount on this college.along with this building fund and property fund of 20000 and a caution deposit of 5000 is taken

Our campus was one of the beautiful campus in India, private beach, playgrounds, luxurious hostel facilities every talent of the college has some or the other thing to be done in collaboration with the college as i was a part of a club named Artist's forum one of the core team of Artist's forum at NITK Surathkal Artist Forum activities involve conducting events, exciting workshops, organizing interactions with professional artists, and hosting exhibitions to showcase talented student artists. Artist Forum also contributes largely to our colleges technical and cultural festivals engineer and Incident respectively in terms of ambiance, and creative input. We also showcase the artwork of talented students during Incident in our exhibition called Kalakriti.

The institute lays special emphasis over hands on training on following motto. There are various internshipe programs like Project Based on C++ File Handling and Database Design Case Study. Advanced Technologies Overview of Open Model Sphere and Dreamweaver Soft Skills As per Infosys Module.

Our college only organizes its technical event which is held once in a year that too on weekends there is no scope for any cultural, management or sports event till last year Sports week was celebrated but that too has stopped leaving students with no fun activity to do the college auditorium and sports ground remains empty and college rarely gives attendance to students going out in other colleges to perform .

The syllabus has become too old for a student from I.T or CSE stream the number of workshops and seminars have also been decreasing and seem to eventually stop by next year since the college comes under M.D University it has to follow the syllabus of the university which has become too old .

Electronics and Instrumentation is not very popular among the common people so most of the parents are generally feared to get their ward admitted in this trade. I strongly recommend students to join this trade as it has very vast scope. Course structure is good and requires consistency and skills to master the subjects. If you are fair enough with your potential then research in this trade is the best option to let your practical knowledge nurture.

Placements is the major factor that decides the reputation of a college these days. My college breaks its own record of placement offers generated every year. The placement cell has very healthy and trustful relations with major IT companies that come every year to recruit students in huge numbers. Various core companies also visit our college an recruit student in good numbers. This year many start-ups have also recruited student (for 2016 batch).

Course curriculum is competitive and in accordance with the course structure that all the undergraduate colleges in India have. But curriculum alone is not responsible for the over all development factors like faculty, infrastructure, exposure matters too. In that sort curriculum will be rated 4 out of 5 (believing 5 for bits/IIT) .

UPTU entrance examination, score was not disclosed but my rank was 2563. With this rank I could have got HBTI Kanpur or IET Lucknow. But the majors they were offering didn't sound worth it for me. So looking for computer science as my majors I opted for JSS which was the best choice I had out of the options I had.
