Exams are conducted only during the course work period. Once the course work is over there are no exams conducted. However, the research scholars are required to present their Annual Progress Seminar a presentation which details the progress of work carried out by the student every year. A minimum of 3 APSes is required before one can submit a Thesis. During coursework, each subject has a quiz, midterm, and end term. The mid-term and end-term examinations can be replaced by assignments or research papers or case presentations. However, this is solely dependent on the subject of faculty.

The college has several events that are conducted throughout the year. IIT organizes India's largest cultural fest Mood Indigo in December. The three-day affair the fest sees a huge number of participants from different parts of India. Apart from Mood Indigo the cultural committee also conducts Kavi Sammelan, Theater Festival, and many more. Likewise, the sports committee organizes. Cyclotron, Chess, Tennis, Cricket, Swimming, Badminton, and many other sports events.

There is a equal gender ratio in the college. Parties are held under teachers survielence so no disruption occurs. Cultural activities are also programmed by the college administration .Students diversity is not here with any regards but here is a very big impact of politics. The students wo are in politics have a bit of power and think themselves as the king and want to rule. But everythings happens according to the staff and administration.

All the faculty of the colleges are good. Some are passout from Delhi university and some are from Jammu university.They teach in every different manner to make us understand.Some teacher got irritate also while interacting with the students.The lab assistants are not that much capable of doing their bit. As they are the local resident and try to force student to be under them.

Campus has immense space and 3 big grounds along with gym,library.The library is a national library and the labs here are too good ,equipped with all facility. Activities like workshop,robotics debate also take place often.

There are two types of exams held here internal and external. Internal is of 30 marks and external 70 marks,all total 100. No, there is no hectic day because there is a gap after every exams and practical labs. So no worry about it. And saturday and sunday we have holiday so those are day for chill out.

The college has an annual festival and of course, it has got other options for displaying talents of students. You are free to display your creativity wherever possible. The college has been recently renovated and painted. Now, the college also offers new courses in IT and computers along with personality development. Recently, SIES College (Sion West) held a grand reunion of alumni and former students.

Scholarships were offered to students coming up with bright colours that is scoring tremendously good in their exams overall percentage will be calculated and they the selected students were given awards on the annual day of the college . the library deposit bank also gives books to students as a loan which help students in their studies.

College provide scholarship and loan only for those students who are in need after some exam conducted in college for scholarship. But Jammu and kashmir govt. provide state scholarship to all those students whose family annual income is less than 50k. And scholarship is also avilable but only for the students comes under below poverty line and hence most of the student in this college is not able to take this scholarship.

"Symban" meaning big event is a intercollegiate Physics fest organized by the department of Physics (SFS) in order to promote learning and understanding of the basic concepts of Physics this is done through unconventional means, i.e, not involving a classroom and textbooks it involves programmes such as Physics Quiz, Paper Presentation, Dumb Charades et we recognize the fact that text based learning becomes tedious at a certain point, and in order to retain the interest of students, we conduct this programme, which gives them a much needed relief from the classroom learning, and yet educates them the most imprtant feature of this programme is that it is organized and conducted by students this is so as to ensure that the students that graduate are able to take up positions of leadership and are able to successfully conduct an event a much needed ability in the modern world.

The college is proud of having the oldest alumni association in India it was founded in 1891 on the initiative of a group of former students, with the object of organizing an annual reunion the day of the meeting was called the Christian College Day and the Association, the College Day Association the first meeting was attended by about 350 members, and the proceedings lasted a whole day. In order to encourage the Association, Dr. William Miller endowed a sum of ?5000 to meet the expenses of the annual meeting the annual meeting of the College Day Association in December 1963 accepted a new constitution and changed the name of the Association to "Alumni Association: Very briefly, the objectives are to promote the social and cultural interests of the alumni, by meetings and publications, and to promote the development of the College.

Fees structure is about 80K for engineering students per annum.I consider this is feasible because some of the colleges is too expensive i.e 1.4 lakh per annum.From the start of the semester i.e first semester the fees is 85k and then the fees remain same till 6th semester after that due to placement and extra allowances the fees is increases by 5k and hence on an average the fees for this college is 80k per annum.

Gender ratio it was almost equal i guess, because it was never a instance that there were more boys than girls but yes i can't comment on Engineering batches extracurricular activities this is something which happens a lot in LPU and its a reflection of culture of Punjab. I really enjoyed watching all folk dances and cultures of all the states of India, because LPU is like a miniature India in itself no racism seen there, as there are not only students from all states of India but students from other countries as well.

Exams were very frequent and since I was in Master's Labs were a daily routine job. Internals make the whole semester squeeze into weeks how time passes, we couldn't even imagine. The scoring system is a usual CGPA based [9 pointer] . Lab exams were easy to conduct as we were so thorough with them that none of the student could qualify that. Talking of the main exams, the question papers were made of both hard and average level questions. They were not straight forward ones, I must say.

The exam structure was very good every guidelines of university was well followed by the college every week class test evey month seasonal examination and in 3month there is pre university examination held overall every time exam happen in the college

The faculty was was very good and the and each and each faculty are very good supportive and helpful friendly and very good faculty ecofriendly the result of college was good in their university it is a ranking college

Placement is quite good almost 50% student easily get placement but in software companies .

There are 3 sessional exam in one semester and one external exam in the end .

I took the TNPCEE exam and scored around 60% in it. In 2004, that score was enough to get into the college. Now it is not something I could of think of. I chose Electronics and Communications engineering as I was advised that I could move to core or IT job if I chose this course. There was no interview and the admission process was quite simple.

Senior Students will be helpful and good to have a contact with. There is absolutely no ragging in the College. There is a frequent visit of Alumni to share their career experience and provide guidance to the budding professionals. Alumni are connected well via facebook group formed by the college.

For this course I clear the bms entrance test this is very popular course in du and the scope in this course is amazing. In my college there are best faculty which are supportive and faithful to students. So,I choose this college over other.

The fest of the clg is very crowdable and famous rappers ,singers and stars are invited and in the fest the cultural society and many others are participated and keep practise to do superb performance and do better .

I normally go to college once a year when alumani meet organised. Mostly in the month of march/april. We all students from the same year with different branches call/inform to each other via whatsapp and facebook and meet in Alumani. It is always a great time to be with old college friends. It is really a great get together with each other

At the time of 2003, there were recession in 2001, so we were not expecting the big companies to come our college, so some hotel industries, dairy company has come for the interviews but now a days there are lots of big company visit the college for placements

Yes, my college provide internship only for engineering students. This internship is provided at the end of 3rd year having duration of 60 days. No extra fees is required for this. I completed my internship from HCL and some of my friends completed its training from EMPHASIS, TCS, INFOSYS, DLF, NTPC, ONGC etc. Overall experience was fine because i didn't feel something strange because most of the students belong to my college also.

This is a place for self-motivated people.There are lots of facilities that can be availed apart from academics : swimming pool, tennis, all indoor and outdoor sports, library, robotics club, computer society, students welfare society, scouts, NCC, NSS.The extra curricular is made compulsory for the first year students.There are many symposiums, technical, cultural events conducted from different departments of the college.

Technical Events : Kurukshetra, Cursor, Niral, Indcon and many more ( around 18 events conducted by each and every department in college)Main event : Kurukshetra : conducted by the students of the whole college. Symposium happens for 4 days and more than 30 events.Cultural events : Kalakrithi, TechofesBoth events are big and conducted for 2 days, familiar among all engg colleges in tamilnadu.

There is no admission. tuition is fee rs.6000/- per semester. Special fee rs.3500/- caution deposit is about rs. 1500/- is the fee structurinstitutions and intakethe details of institutions offering p.g. course in various disciplines towards which allotment will be done and the intake are given in the prospectus. For the p g courses in the private self financing engineering colleges in the state, a rank list will be published from among the applicants and admission will be done to the 50% seats by institutions themselves from the rank list, by inviting separate applications.

It was good course is easy to learn. Main papers are: heat and mass transfer, ddvanced fluid dynamics, compressed fluid dynamics, design of thermal system, machine design, engineering mathematics, direct energy conversion system, elective;energy conservation in thermal systems, engine pollution and control, internal combustion engine design, design and analysis of thermal systems.

UPSEE (uttar pradesh state entrance examination) This exam is uttar pradesh state examination used for getting addmisson in various PG/UG courses including engineering,management,architecture etc. Mainly this exam conducted in the month of april and the result declared after 2 months. I got 1.2 lakh rank (marks 140) all over u.p and i consider I am eligible for this college only so i have to take admission because i dont want to take drop that time.

Various events like debate , singing, sports event , robotics are organized in our campus .We also have a college fest in which every student takes part with full dedication. College fest in itself has numerous events , dealing from academic to sports to every type of co curricular activities .Besides fest we also have various seminars to enhance student's knowledge .

As this is a co educational College ,we have a great gender ratios with a good number of female students in different branches. Various workshop are organized to enhance the knowledge and bring out the hidden talents in students .We also have a robotics club in our college named ORION , which is a great platform for students who like building new stuff.

The course curriculum of the university is very good and stands in one of the best un the world. The course structure of the university is very good and most effective for the education system. University provides many facilities for research work, students of the university also enjoying the study there.

Thats the best part of the Aligarh Muslim university .The tuition as well as hotel fees are nothing in compare to other colleges.I think this is the cheapest university in the world. you cant imagine that in 2006 i have paid only 2600 for B.Sc. for 3 years and hostel fee is also so nominal.
