So the year i joined (2020) had a fee reduction due to covid . I had a semester fee of 20500. I think it might have increased now. If youre staying in the hostel or taking the college bus you'll have to pay additional fees for that. Really good scholarships are available in the college if you perfom really well academically. The fee amount will be reduced drastically according to your performance in the semester exams. The campus employet is not at all good at this college especially for the EEE students. Most of the companies employ CS students and eee students are also attending the cs placements because not enough eee companies come here.
The course is fairly tough compared to other btech courses and there are some subjects which does not have any real world uses , its really tough to learn those subjects. And there some subjects which are really really useful in real world and you'll learn a lot of things which you can use to help yourself and others. You can learn about the working of EV's which is really the main reason why i chose this course. The internal exams are conducted fairly and at the correct times.
If we talk about faculty-student ratio, then there are more than 100 students in the whole class and teachers too. If we talk about the whole department, then there are 800,900 students and 20 teachers. The teacher's method of teaching is very amazing, he teaches very well, he makes the students learn very well Everyone understands what the teacher has taught There is no problem in getting interest from the teacher, special classes are held for weak students
Many annual and cultural events are organized in the college. The biggest event is Spandan which is a 6 day long event. It is a great program in which celebrity nights are also organized.Every department celebrates its own cultural event or festival, for example, Pharmacy Week is celebrated in the Department of Pharmacy. Many activities were also organised quickly like blood donation camp, tree plantation, International Youth Day
During the degree in the mid of the thidr year and after the third year the students are eligible for the campus interview. Approx 75 to 90% student cracked the interview. The campus also provided the mock interview with the reputed companies which have good relationship with the campus. There are more than 500+ MNCs have visited in the campus. Top MNCs are visiting in the campus like tcs,Wipro, Google, Microsoft, Infosys, etc The faculty also support to the students to get placed in the company's by giving them proper knowledge about the interview rule and regulations etc

The curriculum is well designed and is updated based on the current scenario and every year the curriculum is being revised to keep it updated according to the demand. The curriculum is designed so well that we are able to learn through real life problems, case studies from real life are included which helps us to improve our problem solving skills. The teaching method is good and i think there is no need of improvement. In every 3 month 2 times exams are held.
After completing course I realised m com is best for teaching and government job. But some one don't like teaching and government job also like me. I search job but we get only normal job it also not related to mcom that why I advise to please change course for single professional jobs like only taxation finance marketing give training to get job after completion courses.
Faculty members are friendly people even profesor also provide good books to students and slove doubt and we have seminars they provide guidance and faculty people also guide who have interested in PhD and other competative exams. The curriculum at Chandigarh University highly relevant and comprehensive, designed in collaboration with industry experts to ensure it meets market demands. They have wide range of electives subjects that alloews students to tailor their education accoording to their intrests and career goals. Practical exposure through internships and industry projects prepares students for real-world applications. Areas for improvement in the course curriculum and teaching methods are Timely Revisions: ensure the curriculum is updated more frequently to keep pace with rapidly evolving industries, especially in tech and management fields. Increase Practical Exposure: I think increasing the ratio of hands on projects and real world problem solving can enhance learning outcomes. Exam designed to be comprehensive, testing both theory and practical skills.
The faculty to student ratio is good in my department but it's varries across diffrent departments, some departments experience higher student numbers, potentially impacting individual attention. The faculty's at CU are good, they are highly qualified professionals many holding Ph.D. but some fuculty's are not good they have not enough knowledge, they come to class and open PPTs on projector and read that's it. Faculty members are approachable and maintain regular interaction with students through lectures, lab sessions and project work. Many professors have designated office hours during which students can discuss academics and personal concerns.
Course curriculum is perfectly set for the students to learn from the basics and clear their fundamentals and to grow on the topic next Electrical engineering being the oldest and most advanced in IIT BHU influenced me to choose this stream as the lab components, professors etc are best as it gets for this stream. We get to work on real time machines and to learn about the working very closely and professionally so I would say it is really good experience for a student to apply it on real time as the knowledge he/she can receive here is inaccountable Only thing the campus or college being very old the classrooms are a bit underdeveloped comparing to today's classrooms and have a bit shortage of space for 150+ students to accommodate in is the only issue I faced during my course Frequency of exams is as it should be 2 important exams in a 4 month span with moderate to hard difficulty is what makes is perfect for the students. As the questions revolve around important topics and concepts
Fee structure moslty includes tuition fees which vary for different categories such as for sc/st the tuition fee is fully waived and for obc it is around 30k except these amounts you have to pay for hostel facilities and campus facilities which is not more than 5k again it can vary according to you category. As for hostel everyone has to pay 15k for the mess which is common for everyone For obc there is a fee remission which is a type of scholarship which waives particular fees according to the students family income group
The college tuition fees for the college is very low and it's very much worth the money. Me personally, I pay almost seventy six thousand only or year as my college tuition fees. The college also offers scholarships and other aids in fees for the socially amd economically backward as well as to highly talented individuals

There are many colleges under sp University and most of all colleges have facilities like Library, college centin, computer lab , chemistry lab, physics lab ,with well and good equipment. And there is a play ground also in campus.

Factors influencing students in choosing a college course include interest, opportunities, personality, family support, peer influence, job availability, and course relevance. Students often prioritize the availability of jobs after graduation, with a preference for popular courses and career paths with good prospects. The curriculum prepares the students professionally in the work environment taking them to the official visits to the court as in llb course there are visits to the parliament of india and high courts for the students so they can see the real world working environment The areas for improvements in coyrse curriculum and teaching methods is that there should be more digitalized work rather then the books i know books are the main part of the curriculum but somewhat the education in Universities should be digitalized for learning The frequency and timming of final exams are of 3 hours maximum and difficulty level of the exam is based on your understanding of that course.
The faculty to student ratio is good as in every department that impacts very much on learning as there is specific professional professor for each and every subject The faculty's credentials are shared with the students on the website that is CUIMS Chandigarh University information management system and proper mentors and their details are provided in it. So Students can contact them easily. A student can anytime interact with teachers and approachability is very good to the between teachers and students teachers mail ids are provided to the students for easy communication between the students and teachers. Faculty members are very nice and polite to the students and create a very professional environment in the university or in the department they're working in.
They conduct university youth festival in January or February months they support all students to participate in events. They have very good library facilities you get all kind of reference books for your studies. Here classroom are like smart class for teaching they use projector to understand students more easily. All kinds of sports activities are happening in campus during intervals and free times. All departments have WhatsApp groups run by faculty you get all news and events happening in campus.
Here faculties are highly ranked and experienced there teaching styles are very simple and easily understandable by students so we can easily catch up sections and improve our learning capabilities. There no gap between students and teachers they are like friends to students helps to improve in career growth. In any time we can contact with teachers for our doubts.
As of my course (BSc physical science with chemistry) fees for the first year was around 13k INR but on the second year there was a hike in the fee of 1500 so for the second year it was 14500 INR. There are fee hikes goin on at the end of each year which is not appreciable. There a fee relaxation provided by the college to the students whose parents has less than 2lakh per year salary. There's no campus employment and there's no placement in the college. Some organizations provide internships.
Overall campus experience is decent in the college and there are events goin in every week and seminars which really help students to develop themselves and provide an exposure to them. Annual cultural fest "Shradha Tarang" happens in march-April every year . Students from different colleges join the fest. There are societies in the college who organize this annual fest. Societies are one of the best things in the college according to me.
I choose b.com course, in 1st semester admission, I paid 4005 rupees. Our college give students scholarship opportunities to pay their college fees and tuition fees and all resources like books. The scholarships such as kanya Shree, Swami Vivekananda scholarship, etc.
As my college is in my nearest location so I don't live in hostel. Our college campus is clean and have a beautiful garden. Our college have a two library and have specific library for commerce student. The students have opportunity to have books from digital library
The courses are designed in very student friendly manner. Most of the syllabus for the first years was pre known knowledge with only little bit of advanced topics. The curriculum is also based on what the current industry requires and provide enough training for soft skills as well. They also motivate us to pursue extra curricular courses to enhance our skill sets. The study material can be little bit better though. Exams are held twice each semester with one mid term and one end term and few small quizzes for internal assessments. They are quite easy at scoring if you pay attention to class and study a little bit at least.
The university has more than enough faculty to comfortably take up classes without conflicts such as having to take multiple batches at once. We are free to contact the faculties any time and discuss any academics or non academics related issues. Faculties are hired based on their skill levels and undergo multiple interviews before approval. They are well trained and great in communication. Most of them engage the classes in a very interactive and interesting. We also have regular feedback meetings with departments heads regarding any complaints or opinions on the faculty taking our classes.
Overall experience was good . As we all know Bhu has one of the largest library as compared to all university. Infrastructure is good . Overall experience was nice it would have been great if certain professor would behave properly and they would not take anything on their ego. Sports meet are held.
Most of the syllabus of our faculty is outdated. They added GST only this year even though GST was in use for almost more than 7 years. They need to revamp the syllabus so that students can get the real world experience for the future works or job seeking. The exams are on time.
Jhulelal Institute of Technology celebrates SHIKHAR & JALLAOSH these two Events as Technical & Annual Events. About 20 thousand books available in library which were easy to find with software available on PC available in library. PC having OPEC software which provide exact location and availability of book on shelf.
Jhulelal institute of technology having a great curriculum. College labs provide us with real time work experience. Recently, College course updated by university which is great. Exams like UT & PUT are conducted by college with gap of a month.
There are 4 to 5 faculty members within every course, BCA has 5 and the HOD is very strict. The teachers are helpful and really have knowledge about the subjects. The Teachers of other departments are extremely helpful and good in nature. The teachers of BCA and BSc are not at all kind. I don't even like to interact with my teachers.
The fees in this college is very less and better as compared to other colleges of the city. Being a government authorized college the fees structure is nice. Scholarships are also provided to students with economically weaker sections . Various recruitment opportunities are there and campus placement is also available.
From 6-7th semester students become eligible for campus placements. College provides best facilities to students for placements. Also placement cell is very pro-active. They are always reday to clear your doubts and problems. Highest placement through campus is 14 lakh per annum in 2022.
There are many internship opportunities. You can get internship on your skills and performance. The better you perform the better your internship. If you focused on upskill yourself, college will give you better internship. You can also apply for internships off-campus.
Fee is very high for middle class people but our college give a schooler ship. According to your 12 class percentage like if your percentage is above 90 your got 50 percent scholarship But one conditions are applicable every year you can maintain 7.5 cgpa in college to continue your scholarship.
Social life is very good in Chandigarh University students are very friendly. In campus our universe organised fest time to time. So over all we can say social life is good and many club are there so you can join accordingly your interest.
The ratio is 1:70-100 but still teachers are provided with proper mics and the approach of teaching is very good and interactive along with teachers being very approachable for each and every problem also the staff has always been there as an mentor. Along with great knowledge and in their respective subject the teaching style is not just the traditional chalk and board but also ppt presentation audio visual presentation for better understanding along with having one on one interaction with each and every child.
The curriculum overall includes everything in the respective subjects along with practical's for understanding each subject with better understanding practical make it much easier to understand also a course like BSC IT does require practical lectures also each batch has only 40 students with 40 computer for each which makes it more flexible to understand.
