Campuses & Residences

Seneca College has 10 campuses. They are located throughout the Greater Toronto area, each with academic specialties and unique appeal.  

  1. Jane campus: A home to Seneca’s Centre for Advanced Technologies, Jane campus offers its students careers in the areas of Tool Design, Computer Numerical Control (CNC), and Metals Machining Trades such as Tool & Die Maker and Mould Maker.
  2. King campus: King campus offers full time and part time programs in the areas of applied arts and health sciences. This campus has 233 bed residence and other facilities such as parking, cafeteria, library, learning center, 24-hour security and athletics and recreation.
  3. Markham campus: Markham Campus offers full time and part time programs in the areas of Business, Marketing, Aviation and Tourism.  
  4. Newmarket campus: Newmarket campus offers programs including employment counselling, job search workshops and development services. It also provides computer skills training.
  5. Newnham campus: It is one of the largest college campuses in Canada. It offers full and part time programs in the areas of Business, Applied Arts, Engineering Technology and Applied Science.
  6. Peterborough Aviation campus: This campus is a home for Seneca’s fleet of aircraft and flight training devices, used by students registered in the Honors Bachelor of Aviation Technology program. The first year of classroom instruction and the other aviation programs are at this campus.
  7. Scarborough campus: Here the students are offered programs such as employment counselling, job search workshops, job development services and specialized programs for skilled immigrants such as mentorship. Academic Upgrading is offered in the day and evening.
  8. Seneca at York campus: There are different schools located in Seneca at York campus including the Animation Arts Centre, Communication Arts, Computer Studies and Biological Science and Applied Chemistry, and Corporate Communications and Technical Communication programs.

9. Yorkgate Campus: Offers all academic upgrading courses. Programs like Personal Support Worker, Practical Nursing and Social Service Worker are provided at this campus.

10. Vaughan campus:  Offers academic upgrading program, it is a tuition free program which is sponsored by Ministry of Training, Colleges and Universities to meet college entry requirements

Domestic tuition fees are charged from students who are defined as being Canadian citizens or persons admitted lawfully to Canada for permanent residence.

Fees can be paid by Travelex’s Bank-to-Bank transfer, certified cheque, money order, bank draft, Visa, American Express or MasterCard. Students can also pay in person, cash or Interact Direct payment.

Scholarship & Financial Aid

Seneca College offers several awards to students in all programs. It provides various awards available to students in specific programs.

Entrance scholarship

Millions of dollars are spent on scholarships and bursaries every year. Out of those, entrance scholarship aids up to CAD2,000 in non-repayable basis which is based on the financial needs.

Renewable degree scholarship

Deadline: 10th day of classes

Students enrolled in any degree program can be selected for renewable scholarship based on class 12 grades from another post-secondary program.

Total 4-year scholarship based on maintenance of grades

70% or 3.0 GPA+CAD2,000 (CAD500 per year)
75% or 3.3 GPA+CAD3,000 (CAD750 per year)
80% or 3.6 GPA+CAD4,000 (CAD1,000 per year)

Students in Nursing program

Total 2-year scholarship based on maintenance of grades

70% or 3.0 GPA+CAD1,500 (CAD750 per year)
75% or 3.3 GPA+CAD2,000 (CAD1,000 per year)
80% or 3.6 GPA+CAD3,000 (CAD1,500 per year)

This scholarship is based on further grades in the continuing year, which should be maintained.


  • The bursaries can range from CAD1,000 to CAD 3,500 depending upon the need.
  • Available bursaries – Bachelor’s degree bursary, Entrance Bursary and Nursing bursary.
  • The entrance award is provided to the students in need. Students can be eligible for CAD2,000 on non-repayable basis.
  • Students are eligible to apply for OSAP if they are Canadian citizens, permanent residents or protected person.
  • Summer Tuition Assistance Bursary is now open, the last date is June 15, 2018.

  • Go to College Services, click on Student Centre (log in required)
  • Followed by Finances, Click on Apply for Financial Aid
  • Select the Academic Year
  • Fill the required information
  • Select terms of study like Fall, Winter and Summer and complete the budget.
  • Click on “Submit “button. Make sure correct information is filled as no changes can be made afterwards. The applicant must have the budget information beforehand. 
  • Select awards from the list of Eligible Awards
  • Fill the required details. 500-character limit is provided. Write the details in the word file so that one can keep the record of number of characters entered.
  • Click on “Submit”
  • Know about the status of the application under View My Students Award (under Apply for Financial Aid)

Work while you Study

  • August, December and April are the best time to find work on campus
  • Students may find jobs at - Food services, athletics and recreation, bookstore, institutional research, learning center etc.
  • Must have resume and timetable indicating your availability
  • Completed OWSP (Ontorio Work Study Program) form
  • Visa students must fill International Work Study Application Form

Note: OSWP is a program for the students in full-time course and good at academics. Such students can find the suitable job through Seneca’s portal.
