    M.Sc. Home Science: Eligibility

    Candidates aspiring to pursue the course must meet the minimum eligibility criteria listed below.

    • Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university in any of Home Science, Nutrition, Dietetics, Food Science, Biology, Microbiology, Clinical Biochemistry, Life Sciences, BNYS (Naturopathy), BAMS (Ayurveda), and PG Diploma in Dietetics.
    • A minimum aggregate score of 45% at the level of graduation.

    Most institutes offering the course admit students based on their performance in a relevant entrance test. Some institutes conduct their own entrance tests for offering admission. Admission process generally varies across colleges.

    However, mostly, admission to the course is made on the basis of the candidate’s performance in a relevant online test and subsequent round of interview conducted by the concerned university/institute. The online test is 1-hour long and consists of 100 multiple-choice questions divided into three sections: English, Analytical Reasoning, and Quantitative ability.
