NATIONAL LEVEL ONLINE/OFFLINE TEST
The registration process for MAT 2021 is likely to be started in the month of March 2021. Candidates can apply for the exam on the official website of MAT. Link for application will be active upto 1st week of May for paper based test and upto 2nd week of May for computer based test. The application shall be made online and no hard copy of any document is required to be sent via post. Candidates can apply for both paper based and computer based tests.
The minimum eligibility criteria is that a candidate shall have passed/appeared/appearing the final year degree course or equivalent. Around 600 colleges and universities throughout the country accept MAT scores for admission in management courses.
MAT 2021 will be conducted in the second week of May 2021 and the registration for the same will be started from the 1st week of March 2021 and the registration process will end by the 1st week of May. Important dates for MAT 2021 are tabulated below:

While filling the application form candidates are required to fill all the personal details and photograph and signature. The details required to be filled are mentioned below:

Scanned copy of passport sized photograph and signature
Valid email address
Valid phone number
*the email address and phone number must be fed properly and accurately as it will be used by the exam conducting authority and colleges to contact the candidate.
Before proceeding to fill the application form for MAT 2021 candidates have to register online on the official website of MAT. The process to register online are as follows:

Verify all the information as it cannot be undone
Click on ‘submit’
A confirmation will be sent on registered email address
The email address and date of birth will be used as login credentials
After registration the candidates are required to fill the detailed application form for MAT 2021. The application form will be asking for all the personal details and photograph and signature. Process to fill the application forms are mentioned below:

Select the mode of exam(computer based test or paper based test)
Select examination center
Fill the application form
Upload scanned copy of passport size photograph and signature
Pay the application fee through online mode
The payment can be made through debit/credit card, UPI, net banking, e-wallets like PhonePe, paytm, lazyPay, payUmoney etc.
Submit the application form
Save and print the application for all future references
If a candidate forget his application number or password then it can be easily recovered by the steps mentioned below:
Visit the official website of MAT
Click on ‘forgot password’
Enter the registered email address, phone number and date of birth
The candidate will get a password reset link on the registered email address
Click on the link to reset and create new password
Login with new password
In case of application number, candidates can check their previous mail sent by MAT at the time of registration.
The application fee for MAT 2021 will be around 1550.00 INR for computer based test and paper based test. However, if a candidate wants to apply for both modes of examination then the application fee for that candidate will be around 2600.00 INR. The application fee must be paid online. The available methods for payment of application fee are:
Credit and Debit cards(Visa/master card/maestro/Rupay cards/American Express)
IMPS(through any bank)

After completing the payment a receipt will be generated automatically and it will have all the details of transaction number and date and time of payment. The e-receipt shall be kept safe for future reference. If the receipt has not been generated after the transaction then the payment is incomplete. The candidates must check that receipt is generated after payment. The payment shall be done again if the receipt is not generated. Any extra or multiple payment done will be refunded within 7-10 working days to the original mode of payment.
Question: Can I apply for both computer based test and paper based test?
Ans. Yes. The candidate can apply for both modes by paying the required fee.
Question: Can I apply for MAT 2021 in offline mode?
Ans. No. The entire application process shall be completed online only on the official website of MAT.
Question: Can I pay the application fee for MAT 2021 offline?
Ans. No. The payment shall be completed online through credit/debit card, net banking and paytm.
Question: Which one is more valuable between CBT and PBT?
Ans. There is no bifurcation between the credibility of computer based test and paper based test. Both of them possess equal value.
Question: Should I apply separately if I want to apply for both modes of examination?
Ans. The application can be made at one time for both the modes of examination.
Question: What is the validity of MAT 2021 score?
Ans. The MAT score will be valid for a period of 1 year from the date of publication of result.
