    MAT Admit Card 2020 : IBT Mode Admit Card (Released), Steps to Download and Exam Day Guidelines

    MAT 2020 Admit Card dates for IBT Mode September session have been released. The exam will be conducted over 7 days from May 27 to September 2. AIMA will release MAT IBT Mode admit card for each session on a seperate release date, which is three days after the last date to register. 

    Latest Update: MAT IBT Mode registration has commenced for September session.  Last date to register for phase 1 is August 23, Admit card for which will be available on August 24, 2020. Apply Now 

    • Candidates who successfully complete their registration can download the document in online mode from the official website. Registered Email id, password and date of birth can be used to access admit card.
    • The admit card will specify candidate’s details and exam details including the address of the allotted test location Any discrepancies in MAT hall tickets should be reported to AIMA at 011-47673000/8130338839 or mat@aima.in.
    • MAT Internet Based Test (IBT) can be taken from the confines of candidates’s home using a computer with webcam and internet connection. Invigilated using Artificial intelligence, the step is taken keeping in mind social distancing due to COVID-19.
    • Candidates must download the admit cards and keep their original id proofs for verification during exam.

    Steps to Download MAT Admit Card 2020

    The process to download AIMA MAT admit card is completely online. Candidates can obtain their admit card by logging in with Email ID, DOB and Password. The facility of downloading MAT Admit Card is available until the exam date.

    Step 1: Visit the official website of MAT

    Step 2: Click on the download tab on the homepage

    Step 3: Select MAT admit card from the dropdown

    Ans: MAT Internet Based Test is a proctored test introduced by AIMA. Candidates can take the test from their homes at their convenience. AIMA has come up with MAT IBT to provide candidates an opprtunity to appear for the reputed managemnet exam despite COVID-19 lockdown in the country. The exam will be invigilated through artificial intelligence.

    Discrepancy in MAT Admit Card 2020

    In case there is any discrepancy in the details mentioned on MAT May Admit Card, the candidate should immediately contact the concerned authorities for a solution. If you do not alert the authorities before the examination, you might have to face a problem on the exam day.

    Documents to Carry with MAT Admit Card 2020

    MAT Admit is an important document throughout the admission process. Along with the admit card, you need to carry the below mentioned documents :

    • Valid Id proof (photocopy + original)
    • Those who have changed their name, must carry a poof for the same
    • Caste Certificate (for reserved candidates)
    • Scanned image of photograph (10 to 150 kb)
    • Scanned image of signature (10 to 150 kb) 
    • Credit Card / Debit Card (ATM Card) or Net Banking Details

    Admit card is not just limited to the exam day. It is required throughout the different admission stages. The instructions mentioned on MAT Admit Card need to be adhered by each candidate. The instructions mentioned are :

    • Candidate must not spoil or mutilate MAT Admit Card
    • Candidate must not change any details made therein. For any changes in the information given on the admit card, contact the authority
    • Do not carry any wrong item or any other document except admit card at the exam center
    • Any altered, mutilated or invalid admit card will lead to the cancellation of the candidate’s candidature
    • Carry at least 2 copies of MAT Hall Ticket in the examination hall

    MAT Exam Day Guidelines

    • You are permitted to appear for Written Test as per the schedule given on Page 1. You must carry this Admit Card to the Test Centre to appear for the test.
    • The gate of test centre will close 30 minutes before the commencement of examination. After the gate is closed, entry shall not be permitted under any circumstances.
    • You must bring any valid Original photo ID proof for verification, such as (i) Voter ID Card, (ii) PAN Card, (iii) Driving License, (iv) Photo ID issued by any government organization or recognized educational institution, (v) Passport (vi) Aadhaar Card, etc. to the test centre. Candidates without valid Original photo ID proof will not be permitted to write the test.
    • Bring a BallPoint Pen (black/blue) for writing the test.
    • Negative Marking: There will be 25% negative marking for wrong answers.

    Items not allowed inside the exam hall 

    • Mobile Phone, Bag, Handbag, Water Bottle, Papers, notes, books, calculator, electronic gadgets, correction marker, white fluid, etc.
    • It is clarified that, there shall be no arrangements at the test Centre for keeping the aforesaid items. If any item is lost, the Test Centre or AIMA will not be responsible for such loss. Candidates are, therefore, advised either not to carry the aforementioned items to the test centre or to make their own arrangements for keeping such items in safe custody at their sole risk. Any candidate found using or to be in possession of such unauthorized material or indulging in copying or adopting unfair means is liable to be summarily disqualified.
    • After the test is over, you have to hand over both the question booklet and the answer sheet to the invigilator. DO NOT carry the question booklet or any part thereof outside the examination hall. Doing so is a punishable offence.

    Ques. What all do I need to carry to MAT Exam Center?

    Ans. It is mandatory for candidates to carry a valid photo id card along with MAT admit card to the exam center. While taking the MAT exam, candidates should carry any one of the following documents with its Xerox copy- Driving License, PAN Card, Passport, Aadhar Card, College ID or Employer ID for photo identification.

    Ques. Can I carry a Xerox copy of photo id card on MAT exam day?

    Ans. No. Candidates should carry any one of the photos mentioned above id proof in original. A Xerox or scanned copy will not be accepted at MAT exam center.

    Ques. Will MAT admit card be issued for IBT mode exam?

    Ans. Thre is no confirmation yet on how admit card or hall ticket will be issued by AIMA for IBT mode exam. As stated on the offiicial portal details regarding internet based test will be announced soon.

    Ques. Can I change MAT Test Center?

    Ans. No. MAT Test Centre for the exam should be chosen with the utmost care during MAT Registration. Candidates can take the exam only at test center mentioned on MAT Admit Card 2020. The request for changing MAT exam center will not be accepted under any circumstance.

    Ques. What do I need to do after downloading MAT Hall Ticket?

    Ans. Every candidate must cross-check all the details mentioned on MAT Admit Card. If any discrepancies are found, it must be immediately rectified by reporting to the concerned authority. Candidates must print at least 2-copies of AIMA MAT Admit Card.

    Ques. Can I avail the services of a Scribe?

    Ans. Yes. Candidates availing the services of a scribe should submit the scribe affidavit. Also, they should carry a photo id card to the test center.

    Ques. I have lost my MAT Admit Card. What should I do?

    Ans. If by some unfortunate event you happen to lose your MAT Admit Card, do not worry. You can go back to the official website for MAT and download and reprint your admit card. You can download and print your admit card by logging in your candidate’s profile till the exam day.
