The Young University Ranking 2020 Released, IIT Ropar and IIT Indore Bagged the Spot in Top 100

The Times Higher Education has released the World Young University Ranking 2020 for the newer generation of universities which are 50 years older or younger.

In 2019, the ranking was allotted to 351 universities, which increased to 414 universities this year. Only 2 universities could make it to the top 100 and none could enter the range of 50.

IIT Ropar bagged the 62nd slot in the ranking list among the youngest institutes of the country, whereas IIT Indore filled the 64th spot in the ranking list.

The other institutes which have fallen under the 101-200 rank include- IISER Pune, IIT-Gandhinagar, Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, IIT Bhubaneswar, IIT Guwahati, and IIT Hyderabad.
