It is research based institute. So obviously it possess a Research based curriculum. If you want to do further research you can get admitted to Shibpur without thinking because you will get here what you want to achieve. All faculties are great too and they help a lot too. In UG there are 2 mini projects, 1 micro project and 1-2 thesis and in Pg you will have to do some innovative which college will support with no doubt.

Directly go to them and asking what i require. They are very much humble and always ready to help whenever they can. Most of them have done mtech as well as Phd from IIT kharagpur and many from IISc Bangalore. Most of then have industrial experience. So we students get the best of their knowledge and experience.

All teachers are very good and they always emphasis student to go toward research rather than placement.But some teachers are doing their job formalities and don't want to do anything just 'muh phatt'.Most of the the faculty are likes that.

The placement for Cs, It, eceIs good. TCS, Infosys, Adobe Come regularly.Highest placement was 9 lakhs. For other branches it almost nill. For Chemical tata Chemical is here it gave about 8 lakhs to 2 students only last year.

There are two sessional in a sem. n a end semester examination+ lab examination(internal+ external)labs are 4 days in a week there are 6 theoretical papers and 4 practical papers in end semester examination. SGPA system is used for results. Mainly students doesn't panic due to studies if any student study normally whole sem. Regularly then he will able to secure above 8 grade points

Faculty of college is highly qualified,mostly teachers have strong command on there subject.all faculty members are mtech degree holder and some of them also phd & some pursuing phd. faculty members are teach with interest in their subjects.they also helps the students if any student want to do some research or want to deeply study any topic.

We have only two fests i.e Technical and Cultural fests. Technical Fest: Usually 2 days long, has various activities that cover coding, robotics, lan gaming etc. The whole college usually takes part in this fest. Cultural Fest: Usually 1 day long has various social activities such as singing, dancing, skits, plays, DJ etc. The whole college usually participates.

The quality of teaching is ok. The teachers seem interested in teaching but are unable to create a fun learning environment in the classroom. Teachers are unable to transfer/bestow their knowledge onto the students because of factors such as bad classroom infrastructure, communication barrier etc.

We had knowledgeable and experienced faculty, they were top-notch in the subject, they always taught us how to learn subject and not just to pass the exam or achieve good grades. They were always supportive for new suggestions to teach it a new way. Sometimes, even though we tried to fed them up with doubts they cleared them with tortoise speed, they keep on answering them and make sure we understood.

As I have mentioned our college runs in sem system, Our exam pattern was divided as internals 40 and externals 60, Internals 40 includes attendance, records, mid term, pre final, seminar, viva. Pre final were conducted for 80 marks, Mid term for 50 marks. which were divided by 40% of each subject and exam. Viva, seminar, attendance records will be a total of 20, which are again divided to 40%.

Bizomania is definitely an event I liked. It was a time of relaxation and fun. I would hang out with my friends the most during this time and meet new people as well. I participated in a paper writing competition and won second place. We also have annual sports day which is fun and not exhaustive. Best was 5k run, which was a charity event to raise awareness for taking up green initiatives.

The college management are hands on. They make sure they are with the students at every step and issue. Only thing is anything outside the campus, they don't take responsibility, since it will causes issues. But regarding their students, they will be there at all times to help. I had an issue with my hall ticket once, and they helped me get a new one in the same day.

MCA course is designed in that way that student will be ready for competitive market. 3 years course is divided in 6 semesters. First semester is for Basic Computer fundamentals and second semester for programming language. 3rd is for Operational Research, fourth one is for Discrete mathematics. Last semester is for Project Training.

You can join any coaching class a/c to your timingsYou just need to come to the college at the time of practicals, midsems and endsems. Good or bad that is it. But if you're a very concept oriented towards your UG/PG you'll regret taking admission in this college for a longer time.There are no placements provided, no internship offers. Just that rushy job fair that more looks like a city fair where anybody can come and sit at any company's cell at register themselves even boys.

Senior girls are very helpful. There is no ragging problem. There is a good senior to junior introduction at fresher's and farewell parties which is usually a combined function. But there's no collaboration of the college in fresher's and farewell. So usually the second year peeps organizes.They take money from the 1st year and final year girls and give fresher's and farewell to them respectively usually at some hotel. Well nothing can be said. What else they can do.

After studying 4 year of engineering, our aim is to get good job in well known company. For that we need placement from our company. Upto my 4th year i have seen that my college have not offered any good placement opportunity but from starting of my 4th year now my professor have started to give special attention regarding placement of student. They have collected details of all students and they are providing to various industries. But i think still need more companies for placement.

I had given IIT JEE exam for admission and i had scored 75 marks and i have crossed cut-off marks. I have choose this college because :1. I want to study in government college only due to my financial condition. 2. I could not get admission in other popular government college due to my low merit rank and i had collected all detail about this college from my cousin who had passout from this college and i came to know that i should choose this college. 3. Also it is near to my village.

The course is good learn many thing. Faculty are very good. Specially for hr. Overall environment are nice. Having a good library. Very helpful teachers. Teachers r give attention to every single students. I had a good experience. Very nice college to learn. We having industrial visit. And placement is also started now. Having good learning environment.

The senior students are very nice. They never do raging and harassment. Very helpful. They try to help by giving notes books and also having a friendly nature. I found to my senior. They are not criticise any junior. Very good and friendly behaviour I found its really appreciated.

Placement opportunities are good. Every year maximum strength of students are getting placed. Students have placed in Standard Charted Bank, Bangalore; ICICI Prudential Chennai; KGISL, Coimbatore ; WIPRO Technologies, Bangalore; Jet Airways, Air Sahara, Karvy Groups, TCS, IBM, INFOSYS, Bangalore; Accenture, Convergys, NIIT, HCL and Reliance, Bombay.

Campus life in GRD will help a student in achieving his/her dreams. It helps in growing their talents as, it conducts competitions in dance, singing, debate, quiz, cooking, painting, face painting, and other sports like basketball, handball etc., A person is able to understand the outside world by enjoying the competitions and learning through them.

Placement opportunities are excellent because of it's location in Silicon valley of India. Lots and lots of job opportunities and lot of variations. Talking in terms of department most scope if for Computer Science and least for Civil Engineering. Almost all the CS students get placed with decent jobs, and if you have good skills and brain you will surely bag the dream job of yours.

The COMEDK counselling happens in Karnataka where you get to select the college you want to pursue the education from based on your marks and ranks. The notification is released in 2-3 months after the exam not sure though. The administration of the college might be little rough but that;s definitely bearable keeping the exposure you get and kind of learning that will happen here.

There was a balance between classes & labs. We used to get enough time to study or research. There was a separate library other than a main one for MBA students where we used to get all course related books, newsletters, journals etc. I don't remember if we had 10 or 12 odd days in the entire session where we got exhausted at the end of the day.We used to have around 3 internal exams and two external ones.

DIT students usually participate in Lamhe that is the annual fest celebrated in IMS Unison university. Since, it is a sister concern of DIT only, they always welcome its students with full arms open. Other then that, we used to have cricket tournament where students from every batch, b.tech, bca, mca, mba participate.

No, there is no any culture of study, the professor are changed frequently, the course were not completed, it lacks laboratories, and most of time the classes are suspended without any reason. The students strikes for syllabus completion, placement, exams and many more. And If you are staying in hostel you have to fight for breakfast also, not only that If must me ready to sleep empty stomach.

No placement facilities in the campus. There is a placement office which remains closed through out the year. Only at the time of admission it was opened the showcased the guardian of the fresher. Even if you placed through any external agency they will not give you any attendance preference nor they will supply any provisional marksheet.

Course structure is very much good my college is the only college which conducts everyday morning test.they also provide assessment. And also model exam.overall they will make us to do well in semester exam. Probably they will cover all syllabus till third assessment. For the first assessment they will cover 2 units for the second assessment they will complete 2 units.for the third assessment 1 unit will be completed. After that model exam. They will be concentrate on students grades.so they keeping test until unless students will get good marks.

I must say that my college is best ever.because it has awesome center of excellence. Which makes a students to learn a technology with real time.my conclusion about my college management (transforming many lives)my college logo is our college motto.makes students employable. (Industry needs employable engineers)for this scenario.my college is only college making the students to be good professional.I proudly says that my college is transforming many lives.

35,000per semester is the fees for bca. It is feasible to me as compared to bca offered by other colleges in the region.The university also provided many quotas and scholarships to economically weaker students and girls students.hostel and mess is really very good. The fees is also quite reasonable also university helps to provide educational loans to the needy students.

The faculty is really good. All the teachers were passed out from reputed colleges of our country. They really help the students to find their passion and make them succeed by their great teaching methods. The teachers have Ph.D and technical backgrounds. They know what students goes through and tells us what to avoid and how to achieve success in life.

Again Companies such as mahindra, google, Microsoft, flipkart, amazon, cognizant, etc do come. There are not many companies for mechanical but there is a great scope for computer science. The average package is around 3-3.5 lakhs per annum. In mechanical only 50-60 students gets placed out of 3000 students. In computer science 85% of the students get placed ever year.

Now talking about the technical fests. There are lots and lots of technical fest being conducted in the college itself. There are 2-3 cultural fests as well per year. But coming to the main fest that is organised by management is such a poor and on such a low scale that it looks like a desi mela. It is called parivartan and the standard is pretty low.

My entire course consists of six semesters and each semester consists a variety number of subjects and industry exposure and from this year college management introduce new choice based credit system. And people can elect any specific subject and more over flexibility of choosing variety of specializations and other subjects also Three language specialization are also available in our college one the best institute for ug in India.

Coming to faculty members all the faculty members are good at it teaching and they are providing a better notes to the students so they can easily understand the synopsis of the concept what they are taught and the Lakers are providing it good experience to the students by explaining live examples by taking and considering the present market condition and they are also used to teach very innovative and Digital methods.

All teacher take an interest to teach a quality study to there student and work on to improve student knowledge and personality. all teacher of that college is well educated sow they all teach you very carefully and provide you a well training to make your future bright. All teacher are liberal and support you in all activity but on study time you must need to study other wise they will punished you.

Not to good course structure in but it's not college fault is depand on veer narmad south gujarat university. there is 6 semester and except last in all semester 2 practical subject in which you can learn different language. All teacher of this college are well educated so they teach you a language in deep improve your knowledge. Course is design to learn a basic to high level programming.
