CBSE Class 12 Chemistry Compartment Set 2 - (56/7/2) Question Paper 2026 is available for download here. CBSE conducted the Class 12 Chemistry Compartment (supplementary) examination on July 28, 2026, from 10:30 AM to 1:30 PM. The Chemistry paper is of 70 marks and the time allowed is 3 hours. This paper carries the Q.P. code 56/7/2 and is of Set 2. The question paper was handed out at 10:15 AM, and the first 15 minutes were given for reading it.

The paper has 33 questions in five sections, A to E, and all questions are compulsory. Section A has 16 multiple choice questions of 1 mark each, Section B has 5 very short answer questions of 2 marks each, Section C has 7 short answer questions of 3 marks each, Section D has 2 case-based questions of 4 marks each and Section E has 3 long answer questions of 5 marks each. There is no overall choice, but an internal choice is given in a few questions of all the sections except Section A. Use of a calculator is not allowed.
