JEE Advanced 2020 Admit Card/Hall Ticket

JEE Advanced Admit Card 2020 has been issued by IIT Delhi from May 20, 2020. The admit card can be downloaded from using JEE Advanced registration number, date of birth (DD-MM-YYYY), mobile number and email address.

  • JEE Advanced 2020 will be conducted on May 17, 2020 through computer-based mode.
  • All eligible partially registered candidates will be issued a provisional online admit card and will be allowed to appear in the exam.
  • Admit card is an important document to carry at the Exam Center. Take at least 2 printouts of the admit card after downloading it.
  • JEE Advanced admit card will not be sent by post or any other means.
  • No separate admit card will be provided for Architecture Aptitude Test (AAT).
  • The original admit card must be produced while appearing for the test. The admit card will be available only for those candidates who have successfully applied for the exam. Check JEE Advanced Exam Pattern

How to Download JEE Advanced Admit Card

The admit card will be available to download on May 14, 2020 (10:00 IST) at the online registration portal. Steps involved in downloading JEE Advanced admit card are indicated below:

  1. Enter Registration Number, Date of Birth, Email ID and Phone Number.
  2. Download JEE Advanced Admit Card and take its print out.

In case candidates find problem in downloading JEE Advanced Admit Card, they should immediately contact the Chairman, JEE (Advanced) 2020 of the respective zonal coordinating IIT.

Note: A copy of the downloaded JEE Advanced admit card should be produced at the time of online exam. The original JEE Advanced 2020 admit card will be issued to the candidate during the Paper 1 of the JEE Advanced examination. This original admit card must be retained safely till all the formalities of admission are complete.

Importance of JEE Advanced Admit Card

  1. Admit card is the admission ticket to the JEE Advanced exam. It is mandatory for the verification purpose. Without it, candidates will not be allowed to enter the exam hall.
  2. It is checked at the entrance of the exam hall along with a proper identity card. On proper identity verification, these candidates will be given original admit cards.

Discrepancy in JEE Advanced Admit Card

Candidates should clearly check the details mentioned in JEE Advanced Admit Card, in case of any discrepancy, contact the Chairman, JEE Advanced 2020 of the respective zonal coordinating IIT. They may face difficulty to access admit cards for JEE Advanced 2020 because of the following reasons:

Server Error

At times when there is severe online traffic, the online portal gets down or stops responding which results in candidate’s inability to download admit cards. Once, traffic gets cleared and the server starts responding candidates can download their admit card. It should be noted that clearance of heavy online traffic is quite lengthy and may take a day or two.

Providing Wrong Information

While downloading the admit card, if candidate happens to enter wrong details such as incorrect registration number or the date of birth, he/she will not be able to download the same. Thus, in order to avoid such situation, aspirants should make sure that they enter correct details.

Partial Filling of Application Form

Aspirants must satisfy all the details stated in the registration form while filling it up. They must check the form again before submitting. Incomplete information and failure to pay examination fee will result in the cancellation of the application procedure. Hence, no admit card will be issued to the respective student.

IIT Delhi will enable the facility to access the forgotten registration number for JEE Advanced 2020. Steps to retrieve JEE Advanced Registration Number are:

  1. Visit the official portal of JEE Advanced 2020.

  1. Enter JEE Main 2020 Roll Number and Date of Birth in DD-MM-YYYY format.

Important Instructions

  1. The JEE Advanced admit card must be presented for verification in the exam center. Carefully check your Admit Card. In case of any discrepancy, contact the Chairman. JEE (Advanced) 2020.
  2. Material to be brought to the examination hall: Admit card, ballpoint pen with a transparent body, pencil, eraser, and original photo identity card.
  3. Report at the examination center before 07:45 Indian Standard Time (IST) and cooperate with the staff for physical frisking and biometric verification.
  4. You will NOT be allowed to enter/leave the exam center during the examination in both the sessions.
  5. Mobile phones, bluetooth devices, earphones, microphones, paper, health band or any other electronic gadgets, any printed/blank/handwritten paper, log table, writing pad, scale, geometry / pencil box, pouch, calculator, pen drives, electronic pen, wallet, handbag, goggles or similar such things are NOT allowed inside the examination centre.
  6. It is advisable NOT to wear charms, veil, items containing metals such as ring, bracelet, earrings, nose pin, chain/necklace, pendants. badge, brooch, hairpin, hair band, clothes with full sleeves or big buttons. It is advisable to wear open footwear like chappals and sandals.
  7. Violation of any of the rules and regulations at any stage of the examination will lead to the cancellation of the candidature.
