NMAT by GMAC Results 2018, Scorecard and Percentile

NMAT Results 2018: GMAC will declare the results of NMAT 2018 on the 3rd week of January 2019. Visit the official website of NMAT by GMAC i.e. nmat.org.in to check your results and scores. Candidates are required to enter their email address and password to check their results.

GMAC has scheduled NMAT by GMAC 2018 from October 4 to December 17 in an online mode. The exam scores will be published approximately 4 to 5 weeks after your exam date. The test takers will be notified for the release of the result on the registered email ID. After the final percentile score is announced, they will be sent to the schools that you elected to share your scores.

How to Check NMAT by GMAC 2018 Result?

Step 1: Visit the official website of NMAT by GMAC i.e. www.nmat.org.in

Step 2: Click “NMAT by GMAC 2018 Results” link.

Step 3: Enter your Email ID and password to log into your NMAT account.

Step 4: You will  be redirected to a screen having your NMAT by GMAC 2018 Score Card.

Step 5: Check all particulars mentioned in the scorecard and take the printout.

Note: NMAT by GMAC 2018 Scorecard will also be mailed to the institutes of candidate’s choice.

NMAT 2018 Results: What is mentioned in NMAT Score Card?

The final scorecard of NMAT will include the following:

  • A scaled score for each section, a total score as well as a percentile ranking.
  • An approximate range of scores in different NMAT sections.

NMAT by GMAC 2018 Answer Key

  • NMAT by GMAC 2018 Answer Key will be released soon after the exams are over.
  • Check the official website for NMAT by GMAC official answer key 2018.
  • Candidates’ answer sheets of NMAT by GMAC 2018 will also be available for download.
  • It is advised to download the answer sheet as soon as released so that they can match their responses with official answer key and analyze their performance in NMAT 2018.
  • In order to download official NMAT by GMAC 2018 Answer key, candidates will have to enter their registration number and password.

NMAT by GMAC 2018 Merit List

NMAT Merit List of the qualified and successful candidates will be prepared by GMAC on the basis of score obtained in the exam. Based on the merit list, candidates will be called for NMAT 2018 Selection Process.

NMAT by GMAC 2018 Cutoff 

NMAT by GMAC Cutoff is the minimum score required to secure admission in the various courses offered by various institute through NMAT by GMAC. NMAT by GMAC cut off will depend on a lot of factors such as:

  • The number of applicants,
  • The number of seats available,
  • Previous year cut off marks
  • Difficulty levels of the entrance test.

NMAT by GMAC 2018 cut off will be published few days after the declaration of NMAT by GMAC 2018 Results. GMAC will publish the cut-off score range as the examination section. The scores will be included as a scaled score for each section of the test, total score as well as a percentile ranking. Only those students who will score more than the cutoff marks will be considered as qualified candidates and will be called for further NMAT by GMAC 2018 Selection Process i.e. Personal Interview and Case Discussion.

Normalization of Scores

NMAT by GMAC 2018 Score Card will have three kinds of scores:

Type 1: NMAT Scaled Scores

  • : All the test forms are equated to account for any differences in overall difficulty.
  • The raw test scores are placed on a common scale.
  • This process is opted to ensure that scores are comparable across test forms and the scores are not impacted by different candidates getting different test forms.

Type 2: NMAT Percentile Scores

  • Final Percentiles in NMAT 2018 are calculated at the end of the testing sessions i.e. after all candidates have completed taking the NMAT by GMAC exam.
  • The score card and the NMAT score card that is sent to schools will be updated with the final percentiles announced after final result is declared in January 2019.

Type 3: NMAT Historical Percentile scores

  • This score indicate how a candidate has performed in comparison to all other candidates who took the NMAT by GMAC examination in the previous year.  

NMAT Results: Past year Trends

Given below are the highlights of the results from the year 2016 to 2017. 

NMAT by GMAC 2017

  • The result for NMAT 2017 was released at periodical intervals.
  • NMAT by GMAC result for two testing windows – the first from O ctober 5 to October 19 and second from October 20 to November 3 were declared shortly after the exam on the respective last date was over.
  • The test takers could check their score card by login to their NMAT by GMAC account.

NMAT by GMAC 2016

  • According to 2016 results, a scaled score of 235 was equivalent to 99 percentile,
  • A scaled score of 214 was equivalent to 97 percentile and
  • A scaled score of 208 was equivalent to 94 percentile. 

NMAT by GMAC 2018 Selection Process

  • NMAT test takers are required to go through different rounds of the selection process for final selection.
  • They will be shortlisted on the basis of marks obtained in NMAT by GMAC 2018 Online Test.
  • The Merit list will be prepared on the basis of the marks scored by the candidates in the examination.
  • Candidates in NMAT by GMAC 2018 Merit List will be called for the Personal Interview & Case Discussion rounds.
  • All the shortlisted candidates will have to get their call letter from the official website of NMAT by GMAC.
  • No separate call letter will be sent to the candidates through email or via post.

About PI and CD Round

  • PI & CD rounds will be organised in Mumbai & Bangalore campus.
  • Candidates will have to bring their NMAT by GMAC 2018 Admit Card & call letter for this round.
  • After the completion of CD & PI round, the final merit list will be released.
  • The final merit list will be prepared on the basis of candidates’ academic records, NMAT by GMAC score, work experience and performance in CD & PI rounds.
  • Provisional seat will be allotted to the candidates on the basis of the final merit list.
  • The final selection of the candidate will be based on the overall performance of the candidate in all the selection phases.

Hello Wasim, The NMAT 2017 result was out on December 19. The NMAT 2018 results will out on 3rd week of January 2019.

Hello Ashish, Candidates must secure a minimum cut off marks (sectional and overall) to qualify for the admission process. NMAT cutoff depend on both scaled score and overall score.
