WBJEE Eligibility Criteria 2019: WBJEE Board has defined the eligibility criteria for candidates appearing in West Bengal Joint Entrance Exam. A candidate appearing in 10+2 exam in 2019 may sit in the WBJEE 2019. But they will not be eligible for allotment of the seat for admission if they do not pass the qualifying examination with the required eligibility.

Inability to meet the criteria leads to the candidate’s disqualification from the entrance examination of WBJEE. All the verifications are done during counselling and subsequent admission rounds. WBJEE eligibility criteria vary for different courses and Participating Institutes.
Candidates should have been born on or before December 31, 2002 to be eligible for all the courses offered through WBJEE 2019. The age limit for WBJEE for all the courses is defined below.
Candidate must be a citizen of India to appear for WBJEE. Candidates from any states are eligible. The domicile certificate will be applicable only for admission in government participating institutes and to claim Reservation.

General Academic Qualifications for admission to Engineering/Pharmacy Courses are defined below:
All available Courses except Jute & Fibre Technology
Jute & Fibre Technology
All available courses including Bachelor of Pharmacy and 5-Year degree course in Architecture
Additional requirement for 5-Year Degree Course in Architecture
Must qualify either in NATA conducted by the Council of Architecture or in the Paper 2 of JEE Main.
B.Tech courses in Computer Science & Engineering and Robotic Engineering
Pass ‘10+2’ or equivalent Examination with Physics, Mathematics and Chemistry/ Computer Sc. as compulsory subjects with at least 60% marks taken together.
B.Tech Courses in Other Branches
Pass ‘10+2’ or equivalent Examination with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as compulsory subjects with at least 60% mark taken together.
B.Tech course in Marine Engineering
Pass ‘10+2’ or equivalent Examination with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as compulsory subjects with at least 60% marks taken together and at least 50% marks in English.

The following requirements are applicable to the Marine Engineering Course in any of the participating institutions.
The following requirements are applicable for the 5-year degree course in Architecture in any of the participating institutions except the Jadavpur University.
