  • According to ROI, the best engineering college in Haryana is JMIT, which is not only very affordable but provides good placements too.

  • Another good ROI rated private university in Haryana is Ansal University, which provides placement salary at par with any other reputed private engineering college in the state, but it is much more affordable than the other colleges.

  • Amity University does not give a satisfactory result in ROI ranking, because, though it provides some good placements, its fee is very high.

NIT Kurukshetra

  • NIT Kurukshetra admits students through JOSAA counselling process. 

  • After the declaration of JEE Main and JEE Advanced results, the qualified candidates have to participate in the online counselling process organised by Joint Seat Allotment Authority (JOSAA). There, the candidate will have to fill the choice of NIT Kurukshetra.

  • The placement percentage and average salary package is way above the other colleges in Haryana. Almost every stream has a good placement percentage with CSE achieving almost 100% placement every year.

  • Though CSE and IT have the highest placement percentage, the highest package was received by the ECE branch students. However, their branch failed to achieve 100% placements.

  • The lowest placement percentage and lowest package are for Civil Engineering.

  • Most of the salary offered falls under the bracket of INR 4 to 10 lakh (70% of all). Out of that, 31% of the placement packages range between INR 4-6 lakh, while 39% of the packages are between INR 6-10 lakh.

  • If domain wise placement is studied, we will find that the bigger bunch of the companies recruiting from the college are IT and software companies. 34.79% of the total placements are in the IT sector. This explains the reason for 100% placement in CSE and IT branches.

  • While the other colleges struggle to find recruiters from the core sector, NIT Kurukshetra has them in majority. That's why core branches like Mechanical and Electrical have very high placement percentages too.

Northcap University

The Northcap University is a private university located in Gurgaon offering multiple UG and PG courses. The university is approved by UGC and is also affiliated to the Bar Council of India (BCI), Association of Indian Universities (AIU), and also the Accreditation Services for International Colleges (ASIC), UK.

  • The university accepts JEE Main scores for admission to B.Tech courses. The other exams accepted are GATE, LEET, IPU CET and UPSEE.

  • The candidates need to apply online on the university website in order to enrol in the engineering programs.
