The leading engineering colleges in Rajasthan, include both government and private colleges,  each of which has its own admission policies.

NTA is an autonomous testing body, formed under the aegis of the Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD), Government of India (GOI). This agency conducts tests such as JEE (Main) and the JEE (Advanced), which are tests one must appear in, in order to gain admission to undergraduate Engineering Programs at NITs, IIITs, other Centrally Funded Technical Institutions (CFTI).
