The exam for year 2020 has been delayed due to COVID-19 and will now be conducted in 1st week of June, for admission to engineering and architecture programmes offered by more than 120 colleges across Karnataka.

    How to Use COMEDK UGET 2020 Rank Predictor

    Candidates should note that rank estimated is based on previous year COMEDK UGET Cutoff and can differ from original rank. Using the rank predictor tool is quite an easy process, candidates need to follow below mentioned steps:

    Step 1: Login/ Sign Up 

    In order to use rank predictor and gain clarity on rank and college, the initial step is to create an account on Collegedunia Web Portal. Candidates can use their valid email id, mobile number and name to create an account. In case candidates already have an account, they can use their existing credentials to login.

    Step 2: Enter Expected Marks  

    COMEDK UGET is a 3 hour duration test with 180 total number of questions. Out of total marks that is 180, candidates have to enter their expected marks. Based on marking scheme, previous year cut off, difficulty level of the question paper and number of candidates appeared for the exam Rank will be estimated. 

    Step 3: Mention Cutoff Category

    Some extra details like Cutoff category (or reservation category) is to be mentioned. Along with this, candidates have to specify their gender (male/ female or other). As COMEDK UGET is conducted for the state of Karnataka, domicile state is set on Karnataka. 

    Step 4: Predict COMEDK UGET 2020 Rank

    A new window will appear which will display the estimated rank of the candidate on the basis of marks entered. Not only rank, candidates can also predict their colleges accepting the score and courses offered as per marks obtained.

    On the left hand side of the page, candidates will be provided 3 filters for specific results. They are:

    Substream:  As engineering program(B.E/ B.Tech) is divided into various substreams like Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering etc. As certain streams demand high marks and cut off, candidates have to prepare well to target their desired stream. Rank predictor provides a list of colleges as per these substreams.

    City: This filter can be used to select colleges as per their location. Candidates having preference as per location can seek out colleges based on their preference.

    Degree Type: Two engineering programs are offered through COMEDK UGET: B.E and B.Tech. Colleges offering these particular streams are mentioned under this option.
