To be eligible for M.Sc course, you must have completed B.Sc in Food Science and Technology or equivalent with minimum 50% aggregate marks from a recognised board or university.

Selection process can be merit based or entrance based depending on the college or university. Some of the entrance tests are BHU PET, GSAT, OUCET, among others.
