The Directorate of Technical Education (DTE) of the Maharashtra Government is the authority to conduct the MHT CET entry test. Maharashtra Common Entrance Test is an entry level examination for the state. It provides engineering, technology, pharmacy, or agricultural enrollment and admission to full-time Pharm. D courses. Candidates can be admitted to the various Maharashtra state governmental and private colleges. The exam will be administered in Maharashtra and outside the state at different centres. The MHT CET Form Correction window was opened in the month of April.
MHT CET allows correction in details such as Candidate’s Name, Husband/Father’s First Name or Last Name, Mother’s Name, and Date of Birth.
A letter will have to be sent to the DTE with required changes before the announcement of MHT CET results.
This letter must be accompanied by the SSC mark sheet.
The last dates to make changes to the exam centre preferences was between June 5, 2020 - June 10, 2020.

DTE Maharashtra turns on the form correction facility using the online mode. The authority offers this facility for those applicants who have made any errors when completing the application form online. For the application form, the exam conducting authority will provide the correction period within which candidates must make the corrections. Candidates must fill out the application form carefully because they will not be able to make further corrections after the last date of the correction period. Corrections can only be made in certain fields, and not in all fields.
Note that editing is not allowed in all fields. Candidates can only make corrections in a few of the fields. Aspirants may make corrections in certain areas such as name, date of birth, qualifying examination details, course details (for which student has applied), and institution details (in which candidate wishes to be enrolled). Applicants must fill out the application form carefully, as candidates will not be able to make any further corrections after the correction period.
Aspirants can make corrections to their application form using the stepwise process given below.
Step 1: Go to the official link of the MHT CET web portal.
Step 2: Click the link, and you will get redirected to the official website.
Step 3: Go to the tab of "application form".
Step 4: Enter information like your application number, password and security pin.
Step 5: Edit or modify the information you want in the available fields.
Step 6: Save the changes and get the changed form printed.
Step 7: Keep the rectified application form’s printout till the date of the test.
The last date for submitting an application for MHT CET 2020 was June 1, 2020. Nevertheless, aspirants who wish to appear for next year's exam can look at how you can fill out the application form for the MHT CET.
Step 1: Registration of Candidates
Go to MHT CET's official website and check for a registration link.
Click on the 'new user' button and fill out details such as name, email ID, phone number, password, father's name, gender and birth date.
Then, you will receive on your registered email ID or phone number a unique user ID and password.
Step 2: Complete the application form online
Download the MH CET Application Form and correctly enter your personal information, contact details, and academic details before sending the submission.
In addition to other information, any reservation information must be filled in.
Following careful thinking, aspirants are instructed to select the medium or language of the question paper before submitting the application for MHT CET.
The medium of examination for the subjects of Physics, Chemistry, and Biology would be English, Urdu, or Marathi.
The Mathematics paper would only be available in the English language.

Step 3: Upload the required documents
Submit a passport size picture of yourself against a white background with a scanned copy of your signature.
The format of the picture must be .jpg, with a dimension ranging from 15 kb to 50 kb.
The signature has to be provided in black ink and scanned at 200 dpi.
The signature size should range between 5 kb and 20 kb.
Applicants must also submit one ID Proof only within the size of 15 to 256 KB in the .pdf format.

Step 4: Application fee to be paid online
The payment of the application fee can be done online and offline.
For the general category, the application fee for MHT CET is INR 800. Applicants from the reserved categories must pay INR 600.
If a candidate prefers the electronic payment form, he or she would have to use the net banking facility or pay with a credit/debit card to make the payment. The offline payment can be done using an e-challan that will be created automatically.
After paying an additional late fee of INR 500, candidates were allowed to fill out the forms from March 1 to 7, 2020.

Step 5: Confirmation
A confirmation of your submission would get displayed on the screen upon successful payment of the MHT CET application fee. The applicant could take the print out of MHT CET confirmation page for future reference after successful payment.
Nationality - Indian nationality is mandatory for the candidates.
Age Limit - Candidates do not have an age limit
Qualifying Examination – Applicants should have passed from a recognized board or university with the subjects of Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics in their 12th standard or equivalent exam. Those who were to appear for the 2020 qualifying exam were also qualified.
Required Marks – Applicants in the general category should have received a minimum of 50 percent aggregate marks in the 12th standard exam (45 percent for candidates from SC / ST / OBC).
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the facility to alter the preference of the exam district is granted to the registered candidates. For MHT CET 2020 CBT, many parents and students have requested the CET cell to allow them to change their district preferences. This facility was available from June 5, 2020 to June 10, 2020 for registered candidates only.
To change the district of the test, candidates followed the following steps:
Step 1: Visit the official web portal of MHT CET.
Step 2: Go to the Login window on the site.
Step 3: Enter your username and password in the Login window.
Step 4: Now you will reach your Dashboard. Click on “Proceed”.
Step 5: Read the guidelines that appear and select “Proceed”.
Step 6: Tap on “District Preference”.
Step 7: Select your new preference.
Step 8: Click on “Submit”.
The points that candidates had to keep in mind while changing exam centre preferences were:
The link for changing preferences of the exam district was only available in online mode.
Once the applicant selects his or her current preferences, the previously chosen ones will be deemed null and void.
Centers will be assigned to those candidates who have not changed their preferences as per their previous choice.
After the final date, no changes were approved.
Candidates were allocated centers based on the availability of the resources required for the computer-based test mode.
The MHT CET 2020 exam centres are allocated using the admit card. The exam centres of the exam are established in all the districts of the state of Maharashtra.

To apply for MHT CET 2020, the candidates must fill out one single application form. There is, however, an option to cancel the submitted form and submit a new one in case the first form had some errors in it. Nevertheless, the application fee paid is not refundable in such a situation.
After the candidates submit the form, the cancelation option will be available in their dashboard.
The method for canceling MHT CET 2020 application form is outlined below:
Step 1: Go to MHT's official CET 2020 site and login with your credentials.
Step 2: Click the 'Application' tab, and select the 'Cancel Application' button.
Step 3: When you tap the button, you will see a pop-up menu on the screen where you will need to type your registered mobile number.
Step 4: An OTP would be sent to the mobile number you have registered with. In addition to the cancelation remark, type the OTP you received.
Step 5: Then, press the 'Proceed' button to cancel your application.
Step 6: Fill out a fresh MHT CET application form with precise details.
Applicants can access the MHT CET 2020 admit card through the online mode. The admit card is among the most important documents to carry to the exam centre. Candidates are advised to carefully review the information set out in the admit card and to notify the authorities in the event of any mistakes or errors.
