    List of MHT CET Exam Centers has been released by State Common Entrance Test Cell. The exam will be conducted across 36 district headquarters in the State of Maharashtra. Exam centers will be allocated on the basis of number of candidates and availability of seats in the particular venue. Information regarding allotted center will be indicated in MHT CET 2020 Admit Card expected to release on April 5, 2020.

    MHT CET 2020 will be conducted from April 13 to 18 (excluding April 14) and April 20 to 23 in online mode. It is a computer-based entrance exam for admission to B.E/B.Tech courses offered by more than 300 institutes across the state of Maharashtra.Candidates were required to select their preferred test center while filling MHT CET Application Form which lasted till March 7, 2020. 

    Note: Under no circumstances, the request for change of center will be entertained. DTE will preferably try to allot the chosen MHT CET Exam Centers filled by the candidate in the application

    There are a total number of 36 districts in the state of Maharashtra where DTE Maharashtra will conduct MHT CET 2020. The districts fall under eight divisional authorities which include Mumbai, Pune, Amravati, Nagpur, Nashik, Aurangabad, Nanded and Sangli.

    Do's and Don'ts at MHT CET Exam Centers 2020

    Do's

    • Reach the test center at least 30 minutes prior to the test. Carry your original MHT CET Admit Card with you.
    • Without bringing the admit card, candidates will not be allowed to appear for the exam. Carry at least one photo identity card for the purpose of verification at the MHT CET exam center.
    • Follow the instructions mentioned in the question paper given by the exam invigilator.

    Don'ts

    • Electronic devices such as cell phones, electronic calculators, pagers, etc. are not allowed inside the examination hall.
    • You are not allowed to carry any bits of papers or documents to the MHT CET Exam Center except the admit card. Candidates will not be permitted to go outside the exam hall during the conduct of MHT CET exam.
    • Any violation of the rules or any unfair means used during the examination can lead to disqualification of the candidature.

    MHT CET 2020 Guidelines for PWD Candidates

    1. The eligible (Person having more than 40% disability) Orthopedically Handicapped who are not in a position to write, Blind, Low Vision, persons affected with Cerebral Palsy and Learning Disability/ Dyslexia can avail a scribe/writer for MHT CET 2020
    2. The scribe/writer will be arranged by the candidate at the discretion of the candidate at their own cost. The Competent Authority will not provide a scribe/writer to the candidate.
    3. The candidate who wants to avail scribe/writer has to indicate willingness at the time of online submission of the application form.
    4. Fill the declaration form for scribe/writer in the prescribed format. The format can be downloaded from the website of dtemaharashtra.gov.in.
    5. Paste photographs of the candidate and the scribe/writer and put signatures and submit this declaration form before reporting to the examination hall on the examination day to the SubCenter In-charge.
    6. Produce the Disability Certificate in original along with Admit Card to the Sub-Center In-charge at the time of examination.
    7. Candidates availing the facility of scribe/writer will be given compensatory time of 20 minutes per hour of examination. (30 minutes compensatory time for the one and half hour duration paper)
    8. Low Vision, persons affected by Cerebral Palsy, Learning Disability / Dyslexia candidate will be given compensatory time of 20 minutes per hour of examination even if not availing the facility of scribe/writer. Such candidates should have declared Low Vision while filling the online application form.
    9. Under unavoidable circumstances, the scribe/writer can be changed with the permission of the Sub-Center In-charge of the examination center allotted to the candidate.

    Ques. How to choose MHT CET exam center? Can students choose a center of their own choice?

    Ans. The applicants can only opt for the city of their choice as per the list of exam cities at the time of filling the application form. The center will be provided to you by the exam conducting authorities. MHT CET Exam centers are in the same district from where the applicant has passed/ appearing for class 12.

    Ques. When do students have to report to the exam center?

    Ans. Students are advised to report at least half an hour before the exam starts. The reporting time will also be mentioned on your admit card. To avoid any type of delay you should always reach the exam 30 minutes prior.

    Ques. What documents should a candidate bring in at MHT CET exam center?

    Ans. Candidates are required to bring their Admit Card and a photo id proof to the exam center. Candidates can carry any of the following photo ID cards: Aadhaar card, PAN Card, Voter ID and Passport. You are supposed to carry the original documents with you. 

    Ques. How can I change my exam center?

    Ans. The allotted MHT CET exam center will be indicated in the admit card. Under no circumstances, the request for change of center will be entertained. DTE will preferably try to allot the chosen MHT CET Exam Centers filled by the candidate in the application form.

    Ques. How many exam centers I can choose while filling the online MHT CET 2020 Application form?

    Ans. You can choose 2 exam center as per your preference. Choose your exam center wisely because the request for change of center will be entertained. However, the authorities will try to allot the chosen exam center only.

    Ques. Is there any MHT CET exam center in any Foreign Country?

    Ans. No, there is no exam center in any foreign country. Though NRIs can apply for this exam. These candidates must have passed HSC or equivalent exam with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects with one of these Chemistry/Biotechnology/Biology/Technical/Vocational subjects and obtained at least 50 % marks in the above subjects taken together.
