Time and Time Again Summary
This is a short poem of fourteen lines that deals with the central theme of ‘Time’. Time has been a well-discussed theme as it deals with the core concepts of how life is related to it. The poet A.K. Ramanujan beautifully deals with this issue in this poem as well.
- This poem begins with the poet asking the readers to pay attention to the clock tower in a well-developed area.
- He also mentions that one moment is always different from the other.
- Then the poet goes on to describe the bells of the clocktower.
- In the next part of this poem, the poet describes why the time is different for every clocktower.
- According to the poet, every clock tower represents a little different timing as they represent those people who had made them with their shaky hands, those people who live in different time zones and belong to different religions.
- The poet concluded the poem by saying that time and nature know what is best for the human race, hence they are moving forward. Therefore, the bad time will be gone soon and only peace will remain.
