Ohm’s law states that at a constant temperature and physical conditions, the current is directly proportional to the potential difference. Ohm’s Law can be represented mathematically by – 

V = IR

Where,

  • V is the potential difference
  • I is the current
  • R is the resistance

The SI unit of resistance is the ohm.
