STATE LEVEL ONLINE TEST
Registrations for MHT CET 2021 is likely to be started by the 1st week of January, 2021. Candidates have to fill the application form online on the official website of MHT CET. The link for registration will be available by the last week of February,’21 but it is advised not to wait till the last date as candidates may face glitch or server issues on the website.
MHT CET 2021 will be conducted online around the last week of April,’2021. Minimum eligibility criteria is that a candidate must have passed/appeared/appearing class 12 with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics with at least 50% marks. Around 500,000 students are likely to register for MHT CET 2021.
The online exam will be conducted by last week of April, 20 and the registration process will start latest by 8th January 2021. The examination schedule are tabulated below:

Application for MHT CET shall be filled and submitted online on the official website of MHT CET. Candidates are suppose to follow the steps mentioned below to fill the online application:
Visit the official website of MHT CET
Click on ‘apply online’
Register online and provide a valid email address and phone number
The registration id and password will be sent on the registered email address and mobile number
After the registration process candidates have to fill an application form which will ask for personal details including photograph and signature. Follow the instructions mentioned below to fill the application form:
Fill all the personal details like name, parents’ name, gender etc
Fill the contact details like address for correspondence, permanent address etc
Upload scanned copy of recent passport sized photograph and signature
Pay the application fee through online mode.
Candidates can make the payment online through UPI, net banking, credit/debit card, e-wallets like paytm, phonePe, razorpay, lazypay, payUmoney etc.
Payment through credit cards will incur 1-3% extra as transaction charges.
Candidates should note that fees once paid cannot be refunded under any circumstances
Candidates must be very careful while filling the application form as little mistake can cause a lot of discrepancy in the application. Following suggestions must be taken care of while filling the application form for MHT CET 2021:
Candidates must cater for valid email addresses and phone numbers as they will be used for all the future references.
The payment process shall be completed successfully as without the payment the application will be considered as incomplete and it will be rejected
There must be only one application as multiple application will be rejected and it will impact the candidature
However, the candidate can cancel the application form if they want to cancel but no refund shall be provided for cancellation.
The minimum eligibility criteria for appearing in MHT CET is that a candidate must have passed/appeared/appearing class 12 with science subjects including mathematics. The minimum percentage in class 12 should be 50%. However, there is no age limit capped by the government for appearing in this examination. Candidates must check the colleges separately for any variation in the eligibility criteria.
Application fee depends upon the category of the candidates as there is a bifurcation for the application fee depending on the categories. Also, after the application portal reopens there will be additional charges as a late fine. The fee structure for application are as follows:
For General category(Maharashtra and outside Maharashtra, J&K Migrants)
SC/ST/OBC/PH/VJ/DT-NT(A,B,C & D)/SBC/SEBC of Maharashtra only

The application portal will be reopened in the 1st week of March,’21. The candidates who missed the registration can register and apply within this duration. The usual deadline for the process is 7-8 days. However, the candidates are required to pay a late fine of 500.00 INR along with the already existing application fee i.e 800.00+500.00= 1300.00 INR.
The online payments should be made through net banking, credit and debit cards(visa/maestro/rupay/mastercard), IMPS, Cash cards, UPI, e-wallets etc. No other modes of payment shall be accepted for the application. After the payment is successful an e-receipt will be generated. If the e-receipt has not been generated then it shall indicate that the payment has been failed and it has to be attempted again. To start the payment process again the candidate has to enter login id and password.
The candidates can cancel the application form anytime by using the login id and password. However, the amount paid shall not be refunded under any circumstances.
Question: Can I apply for MHT CET in offline mode?
Ans. No. The entire application process shall be done online.
Question: Can I make the payment of the application fee by E-Challan?
Ans. No. Any offline mode of payment is not available for MHT CET 2021
Question: What is the mode of examination?
Ans. MHT CET 2021 exam shall be conducted online only.
Question: How can I make the payment through e-wallet like paytm?
Ans. After going to the payment portal you have to enter your mobile number linked with your paytm account. After entering the OTP sent by paytm you can pay the amount from your paytm account/wallet.
Question: I am not a domiciled student of Maharashtra. Can I apply for MHT CET 2021?
Ans. Yes. Students of any state can apply for MHT CET 2021.
Question: I am a backward class student of Bihar. Would I get a reservation in MHT CET?
Ans: No. The reservation policy is applicable only for the students belonging to the Maharashtra state.
