Evans Tries An O Level Summary
The story is a beautiful creation of the British Crime Writer Collin Dexter. This story has Evans- a prisoner, as the central character. Evans was famous for his jailbreak techniques. This story has an underlined moral- ‘never underestimate your opponent.
- As Evans has quite a reputation as a jailbreaker, he was transported to the Oxford Prison. The officials of this prison are very strict.
- Not able to find any easy option, Evans planned to escape differently.
- Evans decided to join the night class and planned to appear in the O Level German language exams.
- Even with all the precautions the prison officials took, Evans manages to get away from the jail with the help of his friend.
- At the end of the story, though the police officials manage to take Evans in their custody again, he manages to escape again from a police van.
