As per the exam pattern, the CUET Physics exam consists of 50 questions for 250 marks to be attempted in 60 minutes. 5 marks are awarded for each correct answer, and 1 mark is deducted for each incorrect answer.

As per the previous years, 2024 - 2022, the CUET exam had 50 questions, out of which 40 were to be attempted. But in 2025, according to the revised CUET exam pattern, students are expected to attempt all 50 questions within the same time of 60 minutes; all the questions are compulsory to attempt.
