CUET UG Syllabus 2027: 23 Domain Subjects, Subject-Wise Topics, PDF Download and General Test

CUET UG Syllabus 2027 is expected to be released by the National Testing Agency (NTA) at cuet.nta.nic.in in early 2027. The Common University Entrance Test (CUET UG) tests students on domain-specific subjects, a language section, and a General Test. The syllabus is based on the Class 12 NCERT curriculum. Students preparing for CUET 2027 should use the CUET 2026 syllabus as the primary reference — NTA has not yet notified any changes for the 2027 cycle as of August 2026.

CUET 2027 is expected to retain the three-section structure: Section IA/IB (Languages), Section II (Domain Subjects), and Section III (General Test).
The domain syllabus covers 23 subjects drawn from Class 12 NCERT textbooks only — Class 11 content is not tested in domain papers.
Each subject paper has 50 MCQs; a correct answer awards 5 marks and an incorrect answer deducts 1 mark.
Science stream students can choose from Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and Biology as domain subjects under Section II.
The General Test (Section III) has 50 questions covering General Knowledge, Reasoning, Quantitative Aptitude, and General Science.
You can appear for up to 5 subjects (including one language paper) in a single CUET cycle.
NTA is expected to release the official 2027 Information Bulletin — including the final syllabus PDF — by late 2026 or early January 2027.

Students must download the official CUET syllabus PDF from cuet.nta.nic.in as soon as it is released and use only the NTA-notified topic list for preparation.
