    How to Use JEE Main College Predictor 2020?

    Candidates can follow the given steps to explore their college options based on thier JEE Main Rank 2020.

    Step I – Enter your Score Details

    Following details need to be entered by the candidate:

    After entering the details, candidate need to click on “Predict Now”

    Step I – Registration 

    • Register with your name, email ID and contact number. 
    • Available college options for you, as per your rank and preference will be displayed.
    • For example, Vidushi a candidate of General category wants to pursue Computer Science (B.E/B.Tech) with a JEE Main 2020 Rank 1250. The range of colleges suitable for her along with their previous year cutoffs will be displayed as:

    Using Filters for Specific Results

    State: Use this filter to narrow down the searches based on your preferred location for colleges.

    Cutoff Quota: You can also filter out the results as per the HS Quota and OS Quota. Under Home State (HS) Quota, the seats are reserved for applicants based on their state of eligibility i.e. the state from where you appeared in 12th class exam. Under the Other State (OS) Quota, seats are reserved for candidates beyond home state.

    Remember your domicile state has nothing to do with the identification of your Home State.

    Substream:  As engineering program (B.E/ B.Tech) is divided into various substreams like Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering etc. Certain streams demand high marks and cut off, candidates have to prepare well to target their desired stream.     Question: How many seats are available through JoSAA for JEE Main Rank Holders 2020?

    Ans. JoSAA has released the information on number of seats available at IITs. NITs, IIITs and GFTIs for JEE Main 2020 candidates for the academic session 2021. This year JoSAA shall conduct counselling for a total of 50,798 seats available at 110 institutes accepting JEE Main 2020 score i.e. 23 IITs, 31 NITs, IIEST Shibpur, 26 IIITs and 29 Other-GFTIs​. 

    Question: Are only NITs and IITs covered by JEE Main College Predictor?

    Ans. JEE Main Paper 2 has no minimum qualifying marks. The cut-off is generally based on the number of JEE Main Paper 2 candidates and their performance in the examination.     How to apply counseling through jee mains

    Hello. Following step occur during the process of counselling:

    • Select choice of colleges and programs.
    • Lock the choices before the last date.
    • According to the Candidate’s Category (Gen., OBC-NCL, SC, etc.), All India Rank (AIR) in JEE Main 2020 rank list(s), priority order of choices by the candidates for academic programs and institutes and availability of seats under different seat categories/seat quotas for which the candidate is eligible, seat is alloted by JoSAA.
    • Pay the Seat Acceptance fee for the allotted seats through Net Banking/e-Challan.
    • All the documents will be verified at the reporting center.
    • After verification of the documents and payment of the fee, a provisional admission letter will be issued.
