    JEE Main 2020 Cut Off for NIT Trichy

    NIT Trichy (Tiruchirappalli) is a prominent Indian institute matching the world standards in the group of NIT’s. The institute offers undergraduate, postgraduate, doctoral and modular programmes in various streams.

    • NIT Trichy has announced its merit and cut off list for 2019 for various courses in UG and PG program.
    • NIT Trichy provides 5-year B.Arch course along with B.Tech in numerous specializations through JEE Main.
    • NIT Trichy and all other NITs participate in JoSAA Counselling for the admission procedure.
    • The Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) conducts 6 rounds for admission to National Institute of Technology.
    • Therefore, the merit list is prepared 6 times, one after each counselling round to fill the remaining seats.

    Cut Off- 2019 for Female Candidates

    Selection Process

    NIT Trichy offers B.Tech and B.Arch at the undergraduate level, M.Tech, M.Arch, MSc, MCA, MBA, and MS by research at postgraduate level, and doctoral degrees in various streams.

    To get into the undergraduate program of NIT Trichy, an aspirant needs to:

    • Appear for JEE Main 2020 and secure the minimum marks required as per the cut off.

    Note: As per changes made in JEE pattern in 2017, No weightage is given to class 12th marks in calculation of JEE Main score. To qualify for IITs/NITs and other CFTIs (Centrally Funded Technical Institutions), a candidate should secure at least 75% in class 12th examinations. For SC/ST students, the minimum criteria is 65% in class 12th examinations.

    • Students who meet the minimum eligibility criteria (cut-off) of JEE Main have to go through a JoSAA counselling session.
    • Candidates who finally qualify all rounds are allocated institutes on the basis of their ranks secured.
