CAT Admit Card 2026 Release Date and Time

The CAT admit card 2026 release date is 4 November 2026, and the exact time is yet to be announced by IIM Indore. Expected timings differ across portals, so treat them as a guide only.

Download the admit card on the first day the link opens. The download window stays open only until exam day, and release-day traffic can slow the portal, so a late-night or early-morning attempt works better if the site is not loading.

CAT Admit Card Release Time: What Past Years Show

Past CAT admit card timings do not follow a fixed hour, and the schedule has shifted before. In 2025, the admit card was scheduled for 5 November but was postponed to 12 November, when the link reportedly went live around noon. In 2021, the link reportedly opened around 5 PM.

CAT 2026 Slot Timings and Documents to Carry

Your admit card shows one of three two-hour slots on 29 November 2026, along with your reporting and gate closing time. The exam timings below follow the standard CAT pattern, while reporting times are based on previous years, so your admit card is the final word.

• Printed admit card: carry two clear A4 copies, because a PDF on your phone is not accepted.
• Original photo ID: a valid government ID such as Aadhaar, PAN card, Passport, Voter ID or Driving Licence, with a name matching your admit card.
• PwD certificate or scribe documents: only if they apply to you.

Check your name, photo, category, slot and centre address as soon as you download the card. If any personal detail is wrong, contact the CAT helpdesk listed on iimcat.ac.in at once with a screenshot and your User ID. Slot, test city and centre are allotted at this stage and cannot be changed.
