    IIM Kashipur has announced the final result for PGP and PGP-FABM programs 2020-2022 on its official website recently. The candidates who have applied for the entrance test and Personal interview are suggested to check their result by disclosing their CAT Registration number and registered email id. The cutoff list is prepared based on the candidates CAT Score including both sectional and overall percentile.

    • Selection process of IIM Kashipur involves screening of candidates based on their CAT score and Written Ability Test & Personal Interview. 
    • Qualifying CAT Cut off percentile fixed IIM Kashipur MBA admission 2020 is 94% for the students belonging to general category students. 
    • However, the students belonging to NC-OBC category need to have 75 percentile, while for the SC and ST candidates, the minimum percentage required is 55 and 40 percentile respectively.

There are some changes in the cutoff of IIM Kashipur 2020 as compared to the last year.     The cutoff for 2019 registered an increase in the overall percentile for general, NC-OBC and scheduled caste. However, the sectional cutoff of the candidates belonging to the general category remained the same while the overall percentile increased by 12 and 10 points for NC-OBC and scheduled caste respectively. The lowest cutoff percentile witnessed was of the candidates belonging to scheduled tribe and DAP categories.

    IIM Kashipur 2020 Eligibility Criteria

    The candidates meeting the below-mentioned conditions will be considered eligible for admission in IIM Kashipur:

    • The candidates must have completed a Bachelor’s Degree with at least 50% marks. The candidates must have completed Bachelor’s degree or equivalent for a duration of at least three years post completing their 10+2 or equivalent from a recognized board.
    • The candidates belonging to the reserved category need to have at least 45%.
    • If the candidates are given grades/CGPA rather than the marks, the conversion of grades/CGPA to percentage of marks would be according to the procedure mentioned by the university/ institution from where they have obtained the bachelor’s degree.
    • The candidates pursuing their studies and are in their final year/ awaiting result, are also eligible to apply.
    • It is mandatory for the students pursuing final year studies to submit their mark sheet and a degree certificate of the final year Bachelor’s degree examination held on or before June 30, 2020. The deadline to submit such certificates and mark sheets is December 31, 2020.
    • In addition to the candidates’ academic qualification, they must have appeared in CAT 2020 and have scored the minimum desired score in the entrance test to get considered for admission to postgraduate program in IIM Kashipur.

    IIM Kashipur Admission Process

    The steps mentioned below are a part of admission process at IIM Kashipur:

    • The candidates must have given CAT 2020 and have obtained the minimum required percentile needed in the test.
    • The candidates will be short-listed for WAT and PI that have a valid CAT 2020 score. The authorities declared CAT 2019 result on January 4, 2020, and the students meeting the minimum cutoff requirement will be asked to appear for WAT/PI rounds. Common Admission Process (CAP) participating IIM Kashipur announced the release of the minimum cutoff needed to get selected for further selection rounds. In case the total candidates is lower than actually required for the course, then the overall and section-wise minimum cutoff will be change (decreased or increased) to get the desired number of students.
    • Post WAT and PI round, the admission will be granted to the qualifying candidates only. The final selection will be based on the candidates’ performance in CAT, performance in WAT & PI, academic skills, co-curricular and extra-curricular achievements, overall experience, to name a few.
    • Final admission will be offered who hold maximum or satisfying weightage in WAT, CAT, academic scores, etc.

    The most important step involved in IIM Kashipur Admission Criteria is selecting the qualifying candidates for the final selection round. The candidates will be considered shortlisted by the institute in case they meet the below-mentioned shortlisting criteria:

    • The first stage of shortlisting criteria to Postgraduate program in IIM Kashipur is that the CAT 2020 scores 30% weightage, 10% weightage will be given to the candidate’s WAT score and 20% weightage will be given to his/her performance in the PI round.
    • The institute also considers the candidate’s past academic records and their performance in the CAT test while shortlisting them among others. Based on the candidate’s performance in CAT, they will be called for WAT and PI rounds, only in case they meet the minimum required eligibility criteria.
    • The students are expected to score at least 90 overall percentile, with 80% percent each in Quantitative Aptitude (QA), Data Interpretation and Logical Reasoning (DILR) and Verbal and Reading Comprehension (VRC).
    • The candidates with the high academic records will be given additional points at the time of shortlisting them for admission.
    • Candidates holding working experience of more than 18 months-24 months or 24 months-30 months, will be awarded 8% weightage at the time of shortlisting them for the final admission round of IIM Kashipur.

    Reservation Policy

    IIM Kashipur strictly adhere to the norms laid by the Government of India regarding the reserving the seats for the candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste, Schedule Tribes, Non-Creamy, Other Backward Class, Differently-abled person and Economically Weaker Section.

    IIM Kashipur started operating in July 2011 under the mentorship of IIM Lucknow. The institute now offers a two year full time residential programme; also it offers a two-year weekend Executive Post Graduate Programme (EPGPM), Fellow Programme in Management (FPM), and Executive Fellow Programme (EFPM) to the qualifying candidates.
