    Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Bodh Gaya, on 22 May 2020, announced the PGP admission 2020-22 result through the online mode. Authorities had published the shortlist for the WAT and PI round earlier. Candidates can check their status by entering the login credentials created at the time of CAT Registration, and see if they have been shortlisted or not. The admission criteria has also been released. The IIM Bodh Gaya admission process consists of shortlisting rounds in which candidates are required to appear and do their best to avail the final admission offer to IIM Bodh Gaya. Candidates who requested a change of date for PGP on or before 21 April 2020 can now verify the confirmed status.

    The cut-off for 2018 IIM Bodh Gaya was slightly different from the previous year's. The overall percentile for the General category was less than in 2017.     The overall and sectional percentile for IIM Bodh Gaya cut-off was marked with a major improvement.     In terms of the IIM Bodh Gaya cut-off, there is a negligible change in the overall percentile for general category candidatesThe IIM Bodh Gaya cut-off fell from 78.98 to 77.5 for OBC and SC candidates, and from 63 to 59.     IIM Bodh Gaya Cut-off 2015

    CAT's 2015 examination pattern was different from the present paper pattern. Earlier, there were only two sections of the CAT examination - quantitative ability and data interpretation, verbal ability and logical reasoning. The general category sectional cut-off was 80 and the overall percentile was 96.30. The sectional cut-off was 61.43 for the NC-OBC candidates, and the overall cut-off was 78.98 in 2015.     IIM Bodh Gaya 2020 Eligibility Criteria

    • Candidates must earn a bachelor's degree with an average of 50 percent marks or a CGPA equivalent (45 percent marks for candidates from SC / ST / PwD).
    • Upon completion of Class 12 from a recognised board or receiving an equivalent qualification, applicants must receive a Bachelor's degree or equivalent that spans for a period of at least three years.
    • Where the applicant receives grades or CGPA in the place of marks, the equivalent will be decided on the basis of the equivalence recognised by the institute/university from which the applicant obtained a Bachelor's degree. If the institute does not have any specific scheme for converting CGPA into marks, IIM Bodh Gaya will find the equivalent by dividing the total CGPA obtained by the highest possible CGPA and multiplying the answer by 100.
    • Aspirants who are in the final year of their Bachelor's degree or any other equivalent examination, or who have appeared for their final year examination and are awaiting results may also apply.
    • A final year student deemed eligible by IIM Bodh Gaya and offered admission is required to submit his/her mark sheet and a final year Bachelor's exam certificate obtained on or before June 30, 2020. The last date for submitting such a certificate and mark sheet is December 31, 2020.
    • Along with the academic qualification, applicants must bear in mind that they are expected to appear in CAT 2020 and have to achieve the minimum desired score in the entrance test to be considered eligible for admission to the IIM Bodh Gaya postgraduate programme.
    • Working professionals and entrepreneurs who possess a full-time work experience of at least 6 months after graduation (as of March 31 , 2020) are required.

    The following are the important details regarding the application process for admission to the IIM Bodh Gaya MBA programme -

    • Candidates who wish to apply to IIM Bodh Gaya are required to register for the CAT.
    • The payment fee for the CAT was INR 1,900 (Categories of SC/ST had to pay INR 950).
    • Candidates need to note that they do not have to apply for admission to IIM Bodh Gaya and pay application fees separately.
    • Candidates will be able to ascertain whether or not they will be shortlisted for admission to IIM Bodh Gaya following the results of the CAT 2020.

    IIM Bodh Gaya Admission Process

    Step 1 - Candidates must have shown up for the CAT and scored the minimum percentile required.

    Step 2 - Applicants are shortlisted from those holding a valid CAT score for WAT and PI screening (known as Personal Appearance) and have applied to the postgraduate course at IIM Bodh Gaya, and satisfy the required eligibility criteria for admission here.

    Step 3 - The final selection for the IIM Bodh Gaya postgraduate programme will be made based on a number of factors including CAT performance, WAT and PI results, academic, co-curricular and extracurricular accomplishments, and work experience.

    Step 4 - The final admission offer will be made to the applicants based on the Final Composite Score (FCS) which grants 40 percent weightage to the CAT score, 30% weightage to Personal Appearance (PA) - 20 percent weightage to the PI round's score + 10 percent weightage to the WAT score, and 30% weightage to the profile score – 12% weightage to academics + 6 percent weightage to the work experience + 12 percent weightage for diversity.

    • Total fees are INR 10,70,000 for the two year MBA programme of 2020-22.
    • The fee is INR 5,35,000 per year (2020-21 and 2021-22).
    • The IIM Bodh Gaya admission fee does not include personal expenses.

    Candidates are required to undergo a three-stage selection process to get admission at IIM Bodh Gaya. The three stages are listed below -

    Stage 1 - Pre-personal Appearance Process

    The final selection at IIM Bodh Gaya is based on candidates' performance on different parameters including CAT score, past academic records, work experience, and gender diversity. Marks obtained through Class 10, Class 12 application, and a degree, and work experience play a vital role in the selection for the IIM Bodh Gaya PGP course. Points are given based on the aggregate marks for each component. Those points are taken into account during the PI and WAT rounds.

    Offer Acceptance Fee and Withdrawal

    Offer Acceptance Fee and Withdrawal

    A candidate who receives an offer of admission from IIM Bodh Gaya and accepts the offer within the specified time must send an offer of acceptance amount of INR 50,000 along with Offer Acceptance letter. If a candidate subsequently wishes to retract the offer within the Institute's specified withdrawal date, Offer Acceptance Amount will be refunded after deducting INR 1,000 as processing fees.

     If a candidate requests withdrawal after the date specified by the Institute, no refund will be provided. When an applicant applies for the programme, the Offer Acceptance Amount will be integrated with the Term I Fee. No refund of Offer Acceptance Amount and Term Fee will be made in the event of departure from the programme after registration.
