    Indian Institute of Management Jammu released results for MBA admissions on May 22, 2020. Earlier, the authorities had released its selection criteria for WAT & PI for MBA Batch 2020-22 for both Male and Female candidates. This year the batch size is likely to be 180 at IIM Jammu. Admission to the institute is based upon CAT scores (both sectional and overall). The cut off list is prepared on the basis of the performance in CAT entrance test which serves as the first phase of selection process at IIM Jammu.

    • An increase in 5 points in overall cut off for General and Scheduled Caste categories is seen in comparison to last year.

    • Sectional and overall cut off for NC-OBC, Scheduled Tribe and Pwd category saw a reduction.

    IIM Jammu Selection Process

    IIM Jammu Selection Process (2020-22)

    The admission process of IIM Jammu is a 4 stage process:

    • The first is the CAT Examination where candidates will have to appear for the examination at the designated date.

    • After commencement of CAT, candidates will be shortlisted for the Personal Appearance (PA) process.

    • The third stage consists of conducting the PA process. PA process is composed of Written Ability Test (WAT) and Personal Interview (PI). 

    • The final stage is of preparing the Merit List based on CAT score, WAT & PI score and Profile score as indicated in the tables provided below.

    1. Criteria for Short listing to PA (WAT & PI) process

    The cut-off percentile marks for eligibility to PA process in the three sections and the total CAT percentile for different categories of students are given below as decided in the Common Admission Process 2020:

    The criteria for preparing the merit list will be based on the score obtained after adding the following:

    2.1 CAT Score : 0.4* Absolute CAT Percentile

    IIM Jammu will use CAT 2019 score

    2.2 Personal Appearance (WAT & PI) : 30 Marks
