FORE School of Management Admission through CAT 2019

    FORE School of Management, Delhi offers admission to its management courses through CAT score. FSM application form can be filled in online mode through the official website of the institute. The application fee for one program is INR 1947 and it can be paid online through NET banking.

    After the declaration of CAT Result, FORE School of Management, Delhi will release its separate cut off. Candidates whose score is equal or more than the cut off marks will be eligible to apply for admission in management program. Final merit list of FSM will be based on CAT result, performance in selection rounds (WAT/GD/PI), past academic record and work experience.

    • CAT 2019 will be conducted by IIM Kozhikode on November 24, 2019 in computer-based mode.

    FORE School of Management Eligibility Criteria

    Bachelor’s Degree

    • Candidates must have a bachelor’s degree or equivalent degree, with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks or equivalent in any discipline, from a recognized university in India or abroad.
    • Candidate must obtain a bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification in a minimum of 3 years education. 
    • Candidates appearing in the final year of their bachelor’s degree or equivalent are also eligible if they furnish proof of meeting the minimum eligibility criteria by Monday October 1st, without fail.
    • Candidate must have appeared in CAT, XAT or should have a valid GMAT score.

    • Work experience can be from any branch of education.

    How to Apply at FORE through CAT?

    1. Log onto the official website of FORE School of Management
    2. Register yourself with your name and Email ID using your own password.
    3. You will find system generated application form with a unique Form No.
    4. Fill in all the necessary details on it and click on SAVE and CONTINUE.
    5. You will be redirected to the payment portal. Pay the requisite fee through your Debit or Credit card.
    6. After the payment has been done, you will receive a confirmation email on the registered email ID.

    School of Management Previous Year Cutoff

    Below given is the previous year cutoff accepted by the institute for different management programs. 


    Cutoff for PGDM-FM programs is expected to increase for 2020-22 batch. The factors affecting cutoff score is given below.

    FSM Selection Criteria

    • Shortlisting will be done on the basis of marks in CAT / XAT / GMAT.
    • CAT scores will be considered from Indian Institute of Management Lucknow, GMAT scores will be considered from Graduate Management Admission Council and for XAT, it will be Xavier School of Management
    • Total intake for PGDM course is 180 and for PGDM-IB is 120 seats.
    •  Final selection of the candidates is based on the following criteria-
    1. Performance in entrance exam- 35%
    2. General Awareness Quiz- 5%
    3. Academic Performance- 15%
    4. Personal Interview (PI)- 20%
    5. Written Ability Test- 10%
    6. Work Experience- 10%
    7. Extempore- 5%


    • FSM Selection criteria may be added or removed as per relevance considered by the Institute.
    •  A consolidates merit list of the shortlisted candidates will be declared for both PGDM and PGDM-IB program.
    • Candidates will be offered the choice of the program and CAT Counselling will be conducted in May 2020.
    • FSM selection process will be conducted in Delhi, Bangalore, Mumbai, Chennai, Kolkata, and Guwahati.

    Ques – What is the admission process for 2-year, full-time PGDM program?

    Ans – The admission process in 2-year, full-time PGDM program is given below:

    • First of all, apply to FORE. 
    • Take CAT 2019/XAT 2020/GMAT exam.
    • Candidates will be shortlisted based on CAT/XAT/GMAT score.
    • Shortlisted candidates will be called for the selection process.
    • Final selection of the candidates will be done based on CAT/XAT/GMAT score, performance in selection process, academic performance and work experience.

    Ques – What is the eligibility criteria to apply for PGDM program?

    Ans – Candidates applying for PGDM program must have obtained minimum 50% aggregate in bachelor’s degree program from a recognized university. Candidates must have taken CAT 2019/XAT 2020/GMAT (GMAT should be taken between January 1, 2018 to January 20, 2020). Final year candidates can also apply for admission in PGDM program. 

    Ques – Do I need to apply for three programs separately?

    Ans – Candidates willing to apply for more than one program or all three programs can select the checkboxes while filling the online application form and make the necessary payment for the program. 

    Ques – Can diploma holders apply for PGDM program?

    Ans – No, diploma holders are not eligible for the full-time PGDM program. 

    Ques – What is the total intake of PGDM program?

    Ans – There is a total of 180 seat intake at FORE in PGDM program. 

    Ques –  Is there any management quota at FSM?

    Ans – Candidates are selected purely based on merit. There is no management quota.
