NATIONAL LEVEL ONLINE TEST
After the declaration of CAT Result, IIM Calcutta will be separately declaring its cut off for admission to the courses offered by it. Candidates will be shortlisted for admission rounds on the basis of their CAT scores.
The institute offers the following full-time post-graduate programs- PGDM (Post Graduate Diploma in Management), PGDCM (Post Graduate Diploma in Computer aided Management), FPM (Fellow Program in Management) and PGPEX (Post Graduate Program for Executives).

CAT Cut Off refers to the minimum marks that students must obtain in order to qualify the next round of the selection process.
After the result of CAT Exam, IIMs will declare the separate cut off list for the shortlisted candidates. All the shortlisted candidates are eligible to take part in the selection process.
While preparing CAT cut off 2019, the IIMs and other participating B-Schools will consider various factors. Following are the few common factors determined while preparing the cut off-
The overall CAT Cut Off required by general category student is 90 percentile.

The cut off of CAT 2019 refers to the minimum marks or percentile a student must obtain in order to qualify for the next round of selection process. Expected CAT 2019 cut off of IIMs.
Following is the Minimum Section wise Expected Cut-off of IIM Calcutta 2019:

Students are first shortlisted on the basis of the CAT cut-off percentiles, sectional as well as overall, along with past academic record and work experience. After students will get shortlisted they will call for WAT- PI rounds.
The selection for this round is based on the performance at each stage of the round with assessment on past academic records, work experience, co-curricular activities and diversity factors.
IIM Calcutta Admission Process is a two-step process. IIM Calcutta Admission Criteria is mentioned below:
Step-1 Personal Interview (PI)
There are 2 Stages for Short-listing candidates based on CAT cut-off percentiles for Personal Interview (PI)
Stage I: Short-listing of students achieving the minimum section-wise cutoff.
Stage II: Calculation of Composite Scores for Short-listing for PI stage.
Calculation of Composite Scores involves Class X and Class XII aggregate percentages, and gender diversity factor.

The number of candidates short-listed for the PI stage would be the discretion of the institute and would depend on the batch size of 2020-2022.

Candidates based on their composite score will be called for the PI stage of the selection process that would comprise a Personal Interview (PI) and a Written Ability Test (WAT).
