NATIONAL LEVEL ONLINE TEST
CAT or Common Admission Test is a national level management entrance exam held for admission to MBA and PGDM programs. It is conducted by IIMs on a rotational basis, CAT 2018 is organized by IIM Calcutta on November 25, 2018 (Sunday) through computer-based mode.
The online registration for CAT 2018 has started from August 8 and will continue till September 19, 2018. Candidates having bachelor’s degree with minimum 50% marks can apply on the official website of exam.

Once you have made a successful attempt at it, the next thing which you need to work on is the choice of Top MBA colleges accepting CAT score. Candidates will be shortlisted for around 3500 seats in IIMs thus bringing down the success ratio to 0.02%. The competition in CAT has always been close but this year, it is even more difficult to make your way to the elite IIMs.
After the declaration of CAT result, all the participating institutes will release their separate cut off list. Applicants score equal or more than CAT Cut Off marks are called for selection process which includes Group Discussion and Personal Interview round. The final selection is done through overall performance of the candidates.
Candidates who have scored less than 90 percentiles are fretting on which Institute can they apply to. Aspirants who will score 90 percentiles and above, and crack GD/WAT and PI successfully can easily make it to the top B-schools. Each IIMs also has their own admission criteria.
