How to get admission in University College of Medical Sciences, Delhi?

Admission to MBBS & BDS course offered by University College of Medical Sciences, Delhi is done on the basis of NEET score. Only those candidates who clear NEET cut off will be eligible for the admission. If we talk about a good score to bag a seat in UCMS college, that would be around 550+ (Delhi Quota).


University College of Medical Sciences(UCMS) Delhi Admission Procedure

Candidates are required to clear NEET 2018 cut off for University College of Medical Sciences. They must have NEET 2018 admit card and original certificates including score card at the time of Counselling. If, two or more candidates obtain equal marks in the exam, preference will be given to:

  •  The candidates who have obtained higher marks in Biology/Bio-Technology in the NEET 2018.
  • The candidates who have obtained higher marks in Chemistry in the NEET 2018
  • The candidates who are older in age.

UCMS Delhi Counselling Procedure

Candidates who qualify NEET would be eligible for counselling in the batch of 10 for seat allotment in MBBS/BDS in UCMS Delhi. The counselling of particular day will be closed after all the students have been counselled or on 2:30 pm.

What if the candidate is waitlisted or not present at the time of NEET Counselling?

  • The candidates who were present for counselling and were not offered any seat due to allotment of all seats before their turn of counselling, shall be waitlisted and will be required to submit their options in respect of course and college on the prescribed proforma.
  • The candidates who were absent on the specified date of counselling shall not be waitlisted. The candidates who have not opted any seat at the time of counselling shall also be waitlisted.
  • An undertaking is to be given by the candidate at the time of counselling to the affect that they have not pursuing MBBS/BDS courses anywhere in India. In case admitted/pursuing MBBS/ BDS Courses anywhere in India they will be required to produce cancellation certificate from the concerned College/Institution within 4 working days from the date of provisional allotment of seat.

University College of Medical Science(UCMS) Delhi Admission Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for bagging a seat in India’s Top 3rd Medical college one should fulfil the below mention criteria.

  • Age Limit- Candidate must be of minimum 17 years in age on or before December 31, 2018 and should not exceed 25 years as on December 31, 2018. For SC/ST/OBC candidates there is age relaxation of 5 years
  • Nationality: The candidate must be an Indian citizen or an Overseas Citizen of India (OCI)
  • Academic Eligibility: A candidate who has either passed or his appearing in the 10+2 or any equivalent examination from a recognized board of education with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology/Biotechnology as subjects of study is eligible. The candidates must also have scored a minimum of 50% marks in HSC. For reserved category (SC/ST/OBC) candidates, the minimum percentage required is 40%. Physically handicapped students from general category must have secured 45% marks.

Sir or mam, I get 319/720 in neet ug 2018 and I am OBC -PH and my PH rank is 95, so can I get admission in any govt medical college in Delhi ?
