The Jharkhand Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board will conduct NEET Jharkhand Counselling 2026 for admission to 85% State Quota MBBS and BDS seats. The counselling process is expected to begin in August 2026 as the NEET UG 2026 result has been declared.

• Registration for NEET Jharkhand 2026 Counselling is expected to be begin in August 2026 via JCECEB website.
• Candidates must complete registration, fee payment, document verification and choice filling to participate.
• The expected counseling fee for General/EWS/BC candidates would be ₹1000 and ₹500 for SC/ST/Women/PwD candidates.
• The expected government MBBS cut-off for General/EWS/BC categories would be 525+ and 515+, respectively and 400+ and 260+ for SC/ST categories, respectively.
• The full schedule of counseling and all other information including merit list will be released after the declaration of NEET UG 2026 results.

NEET Jharkhand Counselling 2026: Registration Process

The Jharkhand NEET Counselling 2026 registration is expected to start in late July or early August 2026 as the NEET UG 2026 result has been declared. The JCECEB will publish the official counselling schedule and registration dates on its website.

• Candidates must complete the online registration by submitting the online application form, uploading the required documents and paying the counselling fee.
• JCECEB will prepare the Jharkhand State Merit List using NEET 2026 scores and the prescribed eligibility criteria.
• Candidates included in the merit list can fill their preferred MBBS, BDS and other course choices along with their preferred colleges.
• Choice filling and locking will remain open till the notified deadline after which all unlocked choices will be locked automatically.
• The seat allotment result will be published online and candidates who are allotted their preferred seat will get a provisional seat allotment letter.
• Candidates who have been allocated a seat are required to report at the college along with necessary original documents and pay the security deposit to complete the admission process.
• Candidates who have not been allocated a seat in the initial round can apply in the successive rounds of NEET Jharkhand 2026 counseling.

• Visit the official website @jceceb.jharkhand.gov.in.
• Select the link ‘Click Here for All Online Counselling’.
• Go to the application titled, ‘Online Application for Preparation of State Merit List on the basis of NEET(UG) - 2026 Result and select the Click Here button next to it.
• Click on the New Registration button.
• Enter the candidate's name, the course applying for, mobile number, email ID, password, security question, and type the given captcha.
• Click on the Register button after verifying the submitted details.
• Enter the required OTP, and you will be registered successfully. You will get a Login ID, which must be saved for future use.
• Click on the Proceed to Login button.
• Enter the Login ID, Password, and Captcha before clicking the Sign In button.
• Click on the Proceed to Fill Application Form button.
• Enter all the requisite details like personal details, address details, reservation details, qualification details, and NEET(UG)-2026 details.
• Upload the photograph, signature, and left thumb impression of the candidate in the required format.
• Upload the NEET(UG)-2026 score card of the candidate in the required format.
• Pay the required application fee through the available online payment gateway.
• Click Final Submit to complete the registration process.
