NEET 2020 Exam Dates (Released): Check Admit Card, Exam and Result Schedule

    NEET 2020 is now scheduled for July 26, 2020, the announcement was made by MHRD Minister Mr. Ramesh Pokhriyal on May 5, 2020 in a webinar. NEET 2020 Admit Card release date will be notified by NTA 15 days prior to the conduct of exam. 

    Candidates who have successfully filled in all the correct details and generated the payment receipt will be able to download NEET 2020 Admit Card from the official exam website – National Testing Agency will direct NEET 2020 exam across 155 cities in India. The paper is conducted each year to offer students admission into MBBS and BDS courses. 

    • NTA initiated a new text message helpline number for the latest updates regarding NEET 2020 exam dates due to the havoc caused by COVID-19. Read here
    • NEET Form Correction had been reopened by NTA till May 31, 2020, candidates could also modify their exam center preferences.
    • Intermediate graduates from science stream with a minimum of 50% marks can appear for the entrance test. Moreover, candidates above the age of 25 years can also provisionally apply for NEET 2020. Read NEET Eligibility

    MHRD Secretary of India Amit Khare stated that the decision to reschedule NEET 2020 exam will be completely based on how the recent situation turns out. The notification for NEET 2020 was released in December along with the availability of NEET 2020 Application Form. NEET 2020 Registration process is over now.

    Successfully registered candidates will be issued their NEET 2020 Admit Card from the official National Testing Agency website. It is mandatory to carry the admit card to the exam center, without which you will not be allowed to take the exam.

    NEET 2020 Exam Day Guidelines

    • Candidates will not be allowed after 1.30 PM into the examination hall. 
    • All the candidates must carry the essential documents to the NEET Exam hall.
    • Candidates must cooperate with the frisking at the exam center.
    • Candidates should not take any barred items to the exam center and must follow all the disciplinary guidelines.
    • The candidate will follow the dress code for appearing in NEET (UG) - 2020 Examination. If candidates are wearing the customary dress, they need to report at the allotted Examination center latest by 12:30 pm on the day of examination. 
    • Candidates following any unfair means or breaching the code of conduct for NEET 2020 will not be allowed to take the examination and can also be debarred from the examination if required.

    NEET 2020 Result and Counselling Dates

    NEET counselling will allow candidates to opt for seats in their preferred medical colleges/institutes. NEET Counselling was supposed to begin in the second week of June, 2020 but with the postponement of exam to July, the counselling shall probably begin in the month of August.

    • NTA will publish NEET Cutoff along with the result.
    • Candidates who opted for All India Quota Counselling need to register themselves for online counselling on the official website of MCC, comprising 2 rounds.
    • Seats will be allotted as per the candidates’ category, rank and NEET Cutoff.
    • For State Quota, candidates must register in their respective state counselling authority.

    Ans. You need to prepare Phyiscs, Chemistry & Biology (Zoology &Botany) subjects for the NEET exam.

    Ques. I am physically challenged, what is my exam duration in NEET?

    Ans. NEET exam paper will be of 3 hours duration, for PH students it is 3.5 hours.

    Ques. Can I change the option of language once the form is submitted?
