    NEET Seat Intake/ Matrix 2020 will be available on the official portal of MCC (mcc.nic.in). The examination opens up almost 63,800 seats for candidates wishing to pursue MBBS and BDS in various medical colleges across India.

    • Based on the result, NTA formulates NEET Merit List which is used by colleges to allot seats to students.
    • Each college releases its own category-wise cut off separately.Check NEET Cut off
    • The allocation of seats is done on the basis of their rank, score and cut off set defined by the participating institutes. The institute allotted will also depend on the choices filled by the candidates in their online NEET Counselling form.
    • For admission into UG courses in AYUSH (Ayurveda, Yoga and Naturopathy, Unani, Siddha, and Homeopathy), students must appear for NEET. Know more
    • NEET Merit List will now be used to allot seats in veterinary colleges for undergraduate courses like BVSc. and Animal Husbandry under 15% All India Quota.
    • NEET Resultwill be applicable for admissions to all medical colleges of India except for AIIMS and JIPMER, which conduct their own medical entrance exams.
    • Andhra Pradesh and Telangana will now participate in 15% All India Quota Counselling and don’t need to submit a self-declaration form anymore.

    Ques. Can Foreign Nationals apply for NEET? What is the eligibility requirement?

    Ans. Yes, Foreign National can apply for NEET 2020. Students applying as Foreign Nationals must have passed Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology and English in Class XII with 50% marks, as per regulations of the Medical Council of India and the concerned University.

    Ques. Who can appear in NEET for 15% All India Quota Seats?

    Ans. Candidates from the following categories can apply for NEET-

    • Indian Nationals
    • Non-Resident Indians (NRIs)
    • Overseas Citizen of India (OCIs)
    • Persons of Indian Origin (PIOs)
    • Foreign Nationals are eligible to appear in NEET UG for 15% All India Quota Seats.

    Ques. If a candidate is opting Oriya as a medium of question paper, would he be eligible for 15% All India Quota?

    Ans. Candidates qualifying NEET would be eligible for All India Quota and other quotas under the State Governments/Institutes, irrespective of the medium in which the examination is taken by a candidate, subject to other eligibility criteria.

    Hello Jimmy, By all India quota admission can only be taken in 15% seats, rest all 85% Seats are filled through state quota. Suppose a college has 100 intake capacity. Then,15 admissions will be through all India quota and rest 85 admissions through state quota. By all India quota, you can change your state also.
