NEET 2018 Seat Intake/ Matrix is now available on the official portal of MCC (mcc.nic.in). NEET exam opens up almost 63,800 seats for candidates wishing to pursue MBBS and BDS. The allocation of seats is done on the basis of their rank, score and cut off set defined by the participating institutes. The institute allotted will also depend on the choices filled by the candidates in their online NEET Counselling form.

About NEET 2019
The National Testing Agency has been assigned as the official conducting body of NEET 2019. The announcement claiming the same was made by the HRD Minister on July 8, 2018. Now, the medical entrance examination will be conducted twice a year in online mode. The official exam dates are:
February 2019: February 3 – 17
May 2019: May 12 – 26

Ques. Can Foreign Nationals apply for NEET? What is the eligibility requirement?

Ans. Yes, Foreign National can apply for NEET 2018. Students applying as Foreign Nationals must have passed Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology and English in Class XII with 50% marks, as per regulations of the Medical Council of India and the concerned University.

Ques. Who can appear in NEET for 15% All India Quota Seats?

Ans. Candidates from the following categories can apply for NEET 2018- • Indian Nationals • Non-Resident Indians (NRIs) • Overseas Citizen of India (OCIs) • Persons of Indian Origin (PIOs) • Foreign Nationals are eligible to appear in NEET (UG)-2018 for 15% All India Quota Seats.

Ques. If a candidate is opting Oriya as a medium of question paper, would he be eligible for 15% All India Quota?

Ans. Candidates qualifying NEET would be eligible for All India Quota and other quotas under the State Governments/Institutes, irrespective of the medium in which the examination is taken by a candidate, subject to other eligibility criteria.

Hello Jimmy, By all India quota admission can only be taken in 15% seats, rest all 85% Seats are filled through state quota. Suppose a college has 100 intake capacity. Then,15 admissions will be through all India quota and rest 85 admissions through state quota. By all India quota, you can change your state also.
