NEET Seat Intake/ Matrix 2021 will be provided by MCC for AIQ seats at their official portal i.e. mcc.nic.in. Having replaced AIIMS MBBS and JIPMER, NEET is now the only medical exam offering admissions to more than 75,000 MBBS seats and 25,000 BDS seats across the country. The state-wise seat matrix will be released by respective states during the time of counselling. 

NEET Result is applicable for admissions to all medical colleges of India. Based on the result, NTA formulates NEET Merit List which is used by colleges to allot seats to students. After that candidates need to participate in NEET Counselling process. NEET Merit List is also used to allot seats in veterinary colleges for undergraduate courses like BVSc. and Animal Husbandry under 15% All India Quota.   • Seat allocation is done based on the rank, score and cut off decided by the participating colleges. 
  • Moreover, the institute allotted to the candidates based n the choices filled by the candidates during the time of online counselling process. 
  • For admission into UG courses in AYUSH (Ayurveda, Yoga and Naturopathy, Unani, Siddha, and Homeopathy), students must appear for NEET
  • The government has also increased MBBS and BDS seats after the implementation of EWS quota.

Ques. Can Foreign Nationals apply for NEET? What is the eligibility requirement?

Ans. Yes, Foreign National can apply for NEET 2021. Students applying as Foreign Nationals must have passed Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology and English in Class XII with 50% marks, as per regulations of the Medical Council of India and the concerned University.

Ques. Who can appear in NEET for 15% All India Quota Seats?

Ans. Candidates from the following categories can apply for NEET-

  • Indian Nationals
  • Non-Resident Indians (NRIs)
  • Overseas Citizen of India (OCIs)
  • Persons of Indian Origin (PIOs)

Hello Jimmy, By all India quota admission can only be taken in 15% seats, rest all 85% Seats are filled through state quota. Suppose a college has 100 intake capacity. Then,15 admissions will be through all India quota and rest 85 admissions through state quota. By all India quota, you can change your state also.
