NEET Cut Off 2018 for Sagar Dutta Medical College & Hospital, Kolkata

Sagar Dutta Medical College & Hospital, Kolkata conducts MCI approved MBBS program and selection for the same is based on NEET Rankings. NEET  2018 is the centralized national medical entrance test conducted by CBSE every year for admission into MBBS/BDS programs in India.

Candidates with NEET Score above the pre-determined cut-off marks will be considered eligible for admission to the MBBS program. Candidates are advised to study the cut-off score trends of previous years in order to make a fair estimate of the current year’s expected cut-off score.

Based on retrospective data, NEET rank lower than 3000 should ensure a seat for admission into the MBBS program at SDMC&H. It is worthwhile to mention here that the cut-off score for each candidate category and domicile status will be different.

AIPMT and all other state-level medical entrance tests were replaced by NEET (National Eligibility cum Entrance Test) in 2016. NEET cut off for each category is different according to the reservation criteria.

NEET Counselling for All India Quota seats is conducted centrally by MCC (Medical Council Committee) while the counselling for the state quota seats is conducted separately by the participating States.

Sagar Dutta Medical College & Hospital, Kolkata Admissions 2018

Sagar Dutta Medical College & Hospital, Kolkata is offering admission to MBBS program through NEET 2018. To be eligible to grab a seat in this College, candidate has to fulfill the mentioned criteria.

  • Candidate must be an Indian Citizen or Overseas Citizen of India. They must be of minimum 17 years of age at the time of admission on or before December 31, 2017. The upper age limit for admission seekers under All India Quota is 25 years for a period of 5 years for SC/ ST/ OBC candidates.
  • Candidates who have passed Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology individually securing a minimum of 50% in 10+2 are eligible. For reserved category (SC/ST/OBC), there is a relaxation of 10% so they have to secure a minimum of 40% to be eligible. General physically handicapped candidates have to secure a minimum of 45%. Those candidates who are appearing in 10+2 examination in 2018 may also appear provisionally subject to their fulfilling the conditions later on.

If two or more candidates have an equal score in the exam, preference will be given to the candidate having higher marks in Biology/Biotechnology in NEET 2018 or higher marks in Chemistry in NEET 2018 or candidate older in age.

If a candidate fulfills all the eligibility criteria and qualifies the NEET exam. Below mentioned documents are mandatory to be carried with during admission for verification.
