JEE Main 2027 exam pattern is defined by the National Testing Agency (NTA). The exam has three papers for different programmes. Paper 1 is for B.E./B.Tech, Paper 2A for B.Arch, and Paper 2B for B.Planning.

Key insight: In the pre-2025 format, Section B had no negative marking. From JEE Main 2025, Section B carries -1 for wrong answers. Do not attempt a Numerical question without a likely correct answer.
