    NEET 2020 Application Form Correction Window has been opened by NTA till May 31, 2020. The window was closed on May 3, 2020 but has been reopened considering the rescheduling of the exam in July.As per NTA’s notice, this is the last chance for candidates to edit their application details and modify the preference for NEET Exam Center

    Latest: NEET 2020 will be conducted on July 26, 2020, the announcement was made by HRD Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank in his webinar on May 5, 2020.

    NEET Form Correction Quick Updates

    • May 15, 2020: NTA reopened the form correction window till May 31, 2020 up to 5. 00 PM and submission of fee upto 11.50 PM.
    • April 10, 2020: Candidates were allowed to modify their exam center preferences through the form correction facility.

    The release of NEET 2020 Admit Card has been postponed, it can be expected after May 17, 2020 as the fresh exam date has been announced. NEET is a national entrance exam conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA) for MBBS and BDS aspirants for admission into various government and non-government institutions in India.

    • The board has been provided the correction opportunity in the field of Date of Birth, State Code of Eligibility, Gender, Category, and Disability Status and Exam center city preference.
    • Due to correction in Category, if the additional fee will be payable, the same will be remitted through Debit/Credit Card or Net Banking during the given period only. 
    • If uploaded scanned images of photograph & signature is not in prescribed format, then, Candidates will have to re-upload these documents by log into the application portal in given time frame. Check NEET Photosize and Signature Details

    NEET Application Form Correction 2020

    Candidates often make mistake while filling NEET Application Form either because of inexperience or confusion. Therefore, to ensure that the data of NEET UG is submitted correctly, the authority provides a form correction facility to make edits in the form. Visit the official site i.e. ntaneet.nic.in and make corrections in the information. 

    • No further opportunities would be given to candidates for making corrections. Therefore, candidates must edit the form details carefully and thoroughly check the details before making it final draft.
    • Candidates are not allowed to make changes in the registered mobile number and email ID. The correction facility will be provided in the below mentioned particulars only.
    • Candidates can edit their personal information such as Name, Date of Birth, Gender, State Code of Eligibility, Category, Disability Status, Medium and Examination Center.
    • In case candidates are required to pay additional fee after making changes in the form, then they must remit the balance fee before the closure NEET Application Form Correction window.
    • Additional fee can be remitted either through credit card/ debit card or net banking.

    Corrections in NEET Application Form

    The form correction facility is just a one-time facility so you need to be very careful while making the corrections. Here we are providing you with the list of details that you can make changes in your application form:

    Correction in any other data is not allowed as this will not affect the candidature and the merit. Candidates should be careful while making corrections as no second chance would be given to them.

    Check Guidelines for Uploading Photo and Signature

    After making corrections, candidates have to print correction slip and retain the same for the reference and record. No correspondence will be made by NTA in this regard. Due to correction in category and disability status, if additional fee is payable, the same has to be remitted through Debit/Credit Card or Net Banking during the given period only.


    How to Edit Details?

    Correction Procedure in NEET 2020 Application Form

    Candidates are required to follow the below mentioned steps for making corrections in the NEET 2020 Application Form: 

    Step 1: Visit the official website of NEET

    Step 2: Click on the ‘candidate’s log in’ link 

    Step 3: Applicants must fill in their registration number and password

    Step 4: Candidates will find a link for correction after logging in 

    Step 5: Students can now edit / correct the details in the filled application form

    Step 6: After successful submission of the application form, candidates will get a self generated correction slip. Students are advised to print the reciept and retain it for future reference. 

    Correction in the category may invite additional fees to be paid. In such cases, applicants are required to pay the fees online using Internet Banking or credit / debit cards within the correction window schedule. 

    Note: Students are advised to be careful while editing their mistakes as it is a one time opportunity. 

    Editing of the scanned images 

    Candidates who have wrongly uploaded the photograph and signature are intimidated by the exam authority through sms and email. Candidates are required to re-upload those documents within the given window. 

    Candidates are required to re-upload the scanned documents within 3 weeks of recieving the sms and email regarding correction from NTA. 

    Guidelines to follow for uploading photograph

    Candidates must be clear with the fact that the correction window is a one-time opportunity for making changes to the form and that no further chance will be provided for the same. Therefore, they are advised to be very careful while making changes to the particulars and the scanned images. The guidelines to be followed while uploading images are: 

    • The allowed format for the photograph is jpg/png
    • The size of the photograph must lie between 20kb and 200kb 
    • The photograph must be in color 
    • Dark background should not be used in the photograph 
    • Photos with goggles or caps are not allowed 
    • Avoid tilting and rotating the image 
    • The photograph must be taken in a plain background
