JEE Main 2027 Important Dates (Session 1 and Session 2)

• Based on the JEE Main 2026 schedule (Session 1: Jan 21–30; Session 2: Apr 2–8), JEE Main 2027 Session 1 is likely in the last week of January and Session 2 in the first week of April.
• NTA has not released the JEE Main 2027 information bulletin yet. Official dates are expected only around October–November 2026 on jeemain.nta.nic.in.

How to Fill JEE Main 2027 Application Form?

Step 1: Complete New Registration and Generate the Application Number

• Candidates should use an active mobile number and email ID because these details may be used for OTP verification and future communication.

Step 2: Log In and Fill Personal Details

• After completing registration, candidates should log in to the application portal using their credentials.
• Candidates will then need to enter personal information such as gender, nationality, category and address, as required by the application form.
• Candidates claiming reservation or PwD/PwBD benefits should enter the relevant details carefully and keep the applicable certificates ready.

Step 3: Enter Academic Details

• Candidates should enter their Class 10 and Class 12 or equivalent examination details as required in the application form.
• The information may include the name of the board, year of passing or appearing, roll number and other academic details.
• Candidates appearing for Class 12 in 2027 should select the appropriate appearing status wherever applicable instead of entering details that are not yet available.
• Candidates should cross-check their academic information with their official certificates before submitting the form.

Step 4: Choose Paper, Session and Exam City Preferences

• The candidates are expected to select the paper they want to appear for.
  • Paper 1 for B.E./B.Tech, Paper 2A for B.Arch, or Paper 2B for B.Planning.
• Then, choose the session(s) to attempt and the language of the question paper, where offered.
• Pick the preferred exam cities in order of priority. NTA allots the final test centre closer to the exam based on availability, so listing genuinely convenient cities improves the chances of getting one of them.

Step 5: Upload Documents and Pay the Fee

• Upload a recent photograph and a scanned signature in the size and format NTA specifies (expected to follow the 2026 specifications unless revised).
• The portal auto-calculates the payable amount.
• Pay the application fee only online through net banking, a debit/credit card, or UPI.
• The application fee is strictly non-refundable, even if the application is later rejected or cancelled.

Step 6: Download the Confirmation Page

• Download and save the confirmation page once payment goes through as proof of successful submission.
• Download the fee receipt along with the confirmation page.
