NATIONAL LEVEL ONLINE/OFFLINE TEST
JEE Main comprises 2 papers – Paper 1 and Paper 2. Paper 1 is meant for B. Tech aspirants while candidates applying for B. Arch course should attempt Paper 2 of JEE Main. Aptitude Test in Architecture (JEE Main Paper 2) is scheduled for April 8, 2018. Paper 2 includes three sections- Mathematics, Aptitude and Drawing.
JEE Main Paper 2 is only conducted in Pen and Paper mode. Candidates applying for JEE Main Paper 1 can also apply for JEE Main Paper 2 and vice versa but the Application fee is different for appearing in both or single exam. Check Here JEE Main Sample Papers
JEE Main Paper 2 aims at measuring the aptitude of the applicant for specific field of study, i.e. Architecture. The test measures drawing and observation skills, sense of proportion, aesthetic sensitivity and critical thinking ability, that have been acquired over a long period of time.

The basic eligibility criteria for appearing in JEE Main is to pass class 12 or equivalent exam with 45%marks in each of the subject (40% in case of reserved categories). Other mandatory requirements are mentioned below: -
Age Limit: Candidates must have been born on or after October 1, 1993 (October 1, 1988 for SC/ST candidates) to be eligible for JEE Main Paper 2.
JEE Main Paper 2 for B. Arch is a 3-hour examination that includes three sections – Mathematics, Aptitude and Drawing/Sketching Test. The aptitude test must be attempted in English only. Students must carry their own geometry box set, pencils, erasers, crayons and color pencils.

Section 1: Consist of Aptitude Test with 50 Objective Questions for 200 marks. Questions are based on general awareness, reasoning ability, analytical skills.

Section 3: Will be a Drawing test with 2 Questions (Memory, 2D Design) for 70 marks
Note: Drawing Questions have to be attempted on the separate drawing sheet placed with the answer sheet.
JEE Main Paper 2 Result will be declared separately. Once the result is declared, a cut off list is prepared and those who qualify in JEE Main Paper 2 Cut Off shall proceed to the admission process.
CBSE scrapped the inclusion of class 12 weightage while preparing merit list, however, it is mandatory to score at least 75% marks in the qualifying exams to get through with admission process. The admission process will be completed once registration for JoSAA Counselling is done.
In case of a tie, i.e. when two or more candidates obtain equal marks (by giving 60% weightage to performance in JEE (Main) and 40% weightage to normalized marks in Class 12th or equivalent qualifying examination), inter-se merit of such candidates shall be decided in the following order:
